How to set trackball bink in a short time such as 1h, 2h, etc when having new notifications. I dont want trackball blink until I clear new notification.
Missed reminder lets you set the remind time at any internal you desire, from seconds to minutes or hours.
Does it work well on cynanogenmod 5.0.8?

Hi guys, what it could be if I snooze the reminder many many times, in the end it comes up actually even nor showing neither sounding in any way (but I know it is this particular reminder is going off) resulting in firing up the backlight which stays on forever. After it I can't turn the phone off, it just doesn't respond to the power button press. The only way out is reset. After reset that reminder is showing up with sound and all on-screen notifications as it supposed to, leaving <blank entry> in the notification queue.
Really no thoughts at all?
I was using the "Missed Call" app, but it recently seems broken, and i'm looking into alternatives. I'm using handcent sms, so i can do repeating notifications for sms and mms, but what about phone calls? I want to be able to repeat the vibration alert every few minutes, as my phone is frequently in my pocket, and i can't see the led blinking in there.
Any suggestions? Any replacement / hacked phone.apk's that can do repeat notifications?
No vibration and no sound when receiving texts. The only way to know without turning on the screen is by watching the notification light. I have installed other apps that manage the vibration and what not but I don't want those. They use RAM that the D3 doesn't have plenty of, and the timing gets all off - i feel a vibration... then 30 seconds later the message shows up... then 10 seconds later the sound goes off... it's just a mess. I want to be able to use the native system. Does anyone know how to fix this?
And yes - I have checked in the messaging app for the vibration settings.
I use the app "NILS" to wake the phone on incoming notifications. but as soon as the phone is woken up, the display stays on and shows the lockscreen for at least 10 seconds.
I set NILS to keep the screen on for 1 sec, but it doesn't seem to be nils' decision.
So my question is: is there is a mod that controls how long your phone stays awake when woken up?
to clearify: I do NOT talk about the normal wake status when the phone is unlocked but not used.
Hi. I've got this irritating problem:
A meeting set in the callendar notifies me for about 5 seconds. After that time the sound breaks off.
Because of that I sometimes don't hear the reminder.
How to fix it?
Thanks.
So anyone knows how to make the calendar reminders last longer than just a few seconds?
I think 8 secs is the system limitation for Calendar notifications (others also). My advice - put a very loud and irritating sound for it, so u will be notified
