No vibration anymore... - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

I recently clear my storage of my HTC Tytn II (factory reset) and ever since my incoming e-mail and SMS did not give me any vibration anymore. It does vibrate on incoming call.
My notification for e-mail and sms are set to 'play sound','display msg' and 'vibrate'
My sound profile is set to 'vibrate'
Does this sound familiair to anyone?
(I use the HTC default firmware)

I have had this in the past and ISTR that if you switch the vibrate off then on again in those settings it should work.
As a test, if you open up the comm manager and it should have 'Ringer' highlighted in blue on the left 4th row down (unless yours is radically different). If you click on it it should change to 'Vibrate' and vibrate the phone. Does this work?

SMS vibration

Is there a way to make the phone vibrate once instead of 3 times when an sms message is received?
Can anyone help with turning it off from SMS's ? I have a cooked rom with Voice Commander so I don't want it vibrating too. I have my Ring Type set to Ring although I sure someone will say that the ringer settings have nothing to do with SMS's

I think it's set to that considering that if a phone call is received it'll vibrate once and for a long time. Which to me, is useful to distinguish a call from a text.
I know of no software that could modify though...
It's OK, I found the option box in the Sounds and Notifications settings to have vibrate on or off for the New Text Notification

vibrator mode for sms?

is it possible to set the vibrator mode and a different ringtone for the sms?
Yes.
Start > Settings > Sound and Notifications. Click the Notifications Tab.
Event you want to change and you can select the sound, screen notification, light and vibrate.
hey thanks...i didnt know it was there....
Does anyone know if there is a reistry tweak for the number of times it vibrates when recieving a text? Once would be enough!

text message vibrate - change?

is there any way to change the way the tilt notifies you of a incoming text message? atm no matter if my phone is set to vibrate or ring mode, anytime i get a text message, it vibrates, i would rather set it to a ringtone or a shorter vibrate

take a gander at "Sounds & Notifications" somewhere under Settings. once you open the Sounds & Notifications configurator, go to the "Notifications" tab and pick "Messaging: New text message" from the Event combo box and configure away!

Missing SMS vibration notification.

In notification settings I select vibrate for new text message. When new text message comes, my X1 don't vibrate. I check settings and selection for vibrate is absent. This happend pure generig UK rom so any 3th party program can't present this problem. Any ideas?
If the box is absent, it wont vibrate. Needs to be checked in.

Vibration

Is there any software that i configure a vibration time in my incoming calls?
mine is vibrating full time. when the xperia start the ringtone the vibration do not pause or stop till i answer the call
can someone help or suggest something?
In Sounds & Notifications you have the possibility to choose between ring only, vibrate only, ring and vibrate (it seems like you have chosen this setting) and the alternative of starting with vibration and ringing afterwards.
If this is not enough for you there is the possibility to adapt the sequence of the incoming call notification either in the registry (I don't know the keys though) or by using tweaking software such as SK Tools.
Thanks
