Ok I finally got everything to flash for on my wifes phone as an update.zip and it seems to be working great.
The only rom I have tested it on is Eris Lightning Bolt 2.7 so I am unsure if it will work on any other roms.
I attached what i have done so far below if anyone else wants to try it out.
I'll admit myself that the look is very rough around the edges as i have just learned how to do this. Any help would be very much appreciated as i try to learn more about making solid themes. If you want to change the clock and date colors in the notification bar you can do so in spare parts, general.

Install by downloading the attachment, placing on sdcard, and selecting themeforladies.zip from recovery.

This is my first time theme so while i can verify it works, I can only verify that it will work on Eris Lightning Bolt(Cyan). Have some issues with transparency on some of the images because i'm still learning what to do. Thought some additional opinions and suggestions might help me improve.

Anniversary was yesterday...plus with holidays i've been busy. Been soaking up more information to improve it to my liking even though my wife loves it. Going to try and implement today. Sorry for the premature announcement but it is a WIP. If u want me to i can try and release tonight as is so i get some feedback. Let me know.

Some many be familiar here, but last year I did all 32 NFL teams as full themes. After a while they became to hard to maintain, most were updated as far as donut, most to metamorph, but I have all the files. This is my offer if anyone wants to pick them up at all, even if just your team, let me know. Figure rather then let them go to waste.
All the colors are done, so you could even use this to help you put together other teams.
An example of some of the screens:
If you view the album, there are screens for all 32 teams, widgets, boot, and icons. the widgets and some parts I believe I still have all the .9's for also, in case you wanted to redo anything.

The Bears zip is now there, only thing I want to put up is a few of the newer psd files for when I updated the icons, seems the Bears theme never got that update.
When you are done, if you post it, drop a link here so I can see what you have for a final product. And if you look to do more, hit up my site and take a look at the theme guide.
Just an FYI, someone on the CM forums has volunteered to do the 49ers, and another for Bears, and someone is going to work on the Dolphins and Ravens on twitter. Ill try and keep track of them all so everyone can see.

Tomorrow or Wed Ill give you a link to everything. I would NOT recommend making anything to the market. I am currently dealing with a very large issue from that from when I did my Open Home themes.

I just started making ROMs today and I'm going to start with just modifying a ROM.
Couldn't get the Golden Elegance theme to work with anything. So it's has ADW Launcher and everything else.

Yo hot taco, overall pretty nice. The only thing i would suggest is to theme over all the cyan (blue) parts to make them look like vanilla (even though thats my area of expertise).

I agree 110%.. I've thought about trying to learn how to cook up some ROMs but if this is how i would get treated, forget it. So what if its not a "ROM". Everyone has to start somewhere. He's learning. He's obviously smarter than you at age 13 and you obviously have a problem with it. Grow up before you decided to post such nonsense.

perhaps u should work on creating some original material and get some people to test/help u before u create a thread for a ROM...
That way nobody could complain and u could learn and put together a good ROM

I love that status bar. I will post you some screenshots in a few. Did you say that you had icons and wallpaper with it in your message? I might have to reset data to get those to come through. Nice job though. Let me know about the icons and wallpaper, if so i'll go ahead and wipe my data and reflash.

This will most likely work on any GRJ22 rom, just an fyi. Glad to see people showing an interest in making these phones our own. I started out theming exactly the same way on the Droid 2. There wasnt anything out there that I liked, so I made my own...Keep it up man, and if you need any help, let me know...

you would be better off packaging the wallpapers seperate. just zip them up, people can dl them, unzip and move to the sd. the icons, you have to change them individually. what ones you having trouble with?
Will wait for some screenshots but appreciate the effort already to get our phone some themes.

Do you, or anyone know if the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk's are the same from Nexus S to Nexus S 4G? From what I've seen, there isn't much difference. I'll prob drop a red theme in the next day or two, but curious what you guys know.

Hey guys, I've patched android.policy.jar to add more options to the power menu.
This is not a flashable zip, it is the patched GlobalActions*.smali files required to make this work. All the strings should be correct, but I haven't been able to test yet. Sorry for not posting a complete jar, I added this to my framework and realized it was not stock (had extra mods that may cause instability). I'll post up a stock flashable zip when I get the chance, but until then, let your favorite dev know to add this to their roms
You are free to use, modify, redistribute, etc. as you see fit. All I ask is to share any fixes added.

No problem, someone had to do it lol. It's supposed to show the hibernate png, some resource id in the smali itself is off. Instead, it's calling "common_icon_following_on.png". Should be fairly simple to fix, i just ran out of time.
google dex2jar and jd-gui if you want to be able to decompile them. They made seeing the java source code a lot easier but it is extra steps and you may have to repack them.

I've used this and it's great for decompiling close to the original source, but it seems to never put it back together properly. That's why most just use smali/baksmali to make sure it will go back together right.

Because you can easily get them from Market and not everyone wants them preinstalled. (Don't know who though )

But if your going to complain, please, make it a valid and useful point. If its not constructive, like pointing out a bug, keep it to yourself. I am willing to hear what everyone has to say, as long as its in moderation. I will throw up a thread here for all you D3 owners, so its on this forum as well.

I've been running this since he released it this morning. very snappy and I havent had any issues pop up.
In case you do have issues, just have the restore process ready to go, I doubt you'll need to worry about booting your DX.
I'm going to try Jewremy's MOD later and see if it works with this (since its 5.6.890 based). I'll report back on how that goes.
