If your looking for the mobile network IP just browse to http://www.whatismyip.com while using your evdo.
For WIFI IP it's Settings > Wireless & Network Settings > Wifi Settings > Menu Hard Key > Advanced It should be listed there.

Hi, I'm on the same network and on the Text and Web simplicity tariff. Here is what I did. The Windows mobile version I'm using is wm6.5.x, with the start menu at the bottom left.
To enter the settings first click "start", then click "setting", then "connections".
First click manage existing connections, and delete the modem connection specified in here. (Not required but advised) As this is configured by the device and the setting are incorrect.
Next go back a step. Then click add new modem connection.
“Select a Modem” should be set for “Cellular Line (GPRS)” or “Cellular Line GPRS/3G”
Now click “Next” to start inputting the operator specific settings.
Name the connection: O2 (PAYG)
Access Point Name (PAYG): payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username (PAYG) payandgo
Password: password
Tap “Advanced” and make sure both tabs have selected “Use Server Assigned IP Address”
Tap “Finish” then Tap “Proxy Settings”.
Select “This network connects to the Internet” and “ This network connects to a proxy server…”
Tap “Advanced” then WAP. Server address is: 193.113.200.195: Port 9201. Tap OK
Tap Socks: Server is 193.113.200.195: Port 1080. Type: Socks 4.
I can confirm these settings work as I use the internet everyday on my Touch Pro. Hope this helps. If you struggle pm me.
Hello sb.oddworld,

[Q]

Newbie here: Can't find info after search. I know this is a basic question and I apoloigize if I'm in wrong thread.
I have an At&T vivid that I am switching to Straight Talk with everything. I ordered AT&T sim from S.T. and the problem I'm having is in the APN settings. I found the many settings for this on this site, however I can't seem to find what works for me. This is all that my phone offers for settings...
Name:
Type: (This is a dropdown box with many settings such as PPTP or L2TP/lPSec Psk)
server address:
(A check box for) PPP encryption (MPPE)
(A check box for) show advanced options
When above box is marked.
DNS Search Domains:
DNS Servers (e.g. 8.8.8.8.)
Forwarding routes (e.g. 10.0.0.0/80)
That's all that is available. I've experimented with some settings and fot the voice service to work but nothing else.
Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated.
You need to go to settings then wireless select more then mobile networks then select apn then press menu new apn and put in the info that came with your straight talk sim...hope this helps

Proxy server

anyone know a proxy server I can use to set up with the XZ?
Where your current location? Why do you need a proxy server and not a VPN connection?

[Q] how to get connect with proxy internet

is any solution to connect proxy based internet wifi.
windows phone 7 version has an option to setup static ip and get connected.
help me out.
Proxy setup is basically the same as in WP7: connect to the network, then tap the network name (or press-and-hold, then tap Edit), toggle the proxy option to on, and then enter the proxy server's IP and port number...
Yeah but there is no option to connect a proxy internet.

... There is no such *thing* as "a proxy Internet" so please explain exactly what the heck you mean? The WiFi proxy settings allow you to connect your phone to the Internet through a proxy server. What else are you looking for...?
When i am connecting a proxy based wifi then its not showing me to enter the proxy url and port options.

Is there some reason you can't enter them manually, using the steps I told you above?
The option not coming up to edit the proxy address of wifi.

Question [CLOSED]Browser mobile data problem

I use Duckduckgo as the default browser on my Zenfone 8. If I disable Wi-Fi connection it does not connect to the internet, "Web Page Is Not Available", even though the Moble Data connection is enabled.
I definitely have not exceeded my mobile plan's huge download limit so I can't figure out why the browser won't connect?
Any ideas I could try or settings that might fix this problem?
Thanks.

Thanks, but I have the correct APN from my phone service provider.
is it only this website or everything?
I have two browsers on my Zenfone 8. I discovered that they will only work at home if Wi-Fi permission is enabled. I'm puzzled because I thought if Wi-Fi was off they would connect using the Mobile data connection.
Outdoors both browsers work whether Wi-Fi is enabled or disabled.
In Developer options I have enabled "Mobile data always active - always keep mobile data active, even when Wi-Fi is active for fast network switching".
It's not an important point, I'm just curious why the phone won't use mobile data at home even if Wi-Fi is unavailable (which is sometimes the case where I live).
