will indian note work in usa too?

I am going to the US to study this august.
and i am planning to take my newly bought note(bought in India) with me.
but I'm not very sure if this will work in the US
Can anyone please tell me that will this work there too?
i am using the custom ROM

Yes it will since almost every phone sold here is unlocked or unbranded. But it won't work on verizon since its CDMA.

Hello,
I am currently in Germany and need the My Vodafone Ireland App. Unfortunately I can not download the app from the App Store as I am currently outside Ireland. Can anybody post a direct link to this app. It would be greatly appreciated.

If your tablet is rooted you can use aps like Market Enabler to access a ps available only in Ireland.

Hello Guys, i purchased a BELL ATRIX HD in Halifax Canada this week and brought it to germany. right now it has
System 77.55.18.MB886.BellMobility.En.CA on it 4.04 Flex GAS_NA_DINAICSBELL_P014 on it.
Can anyone help me with an AT&T ROM? BELL has only english spanish french and portuguese language on it...
i couldn`t find any ROM for it and it is dated JUNE 2012, and i would like to try out the AT&T ROM
would appreciate the help, have a great weekend

No, don't! You are not supposed to install AT&T ROM on the Bell model. You will brick your phone.

I have heard some Bell units have been unlocked. Not sure now that you said that though lol

i havent seen a confirmation on this yet , "Device is UNLOCKED, Status Code:1" at fastboot ,means bootloader unlocked ?
if yes ,how can I flash at$t roms ,since I already tried Hd utility and it doesnt work . using ss3?

Download fast boot
If and only if your boot loader is unlocked use fastboot

Yes "device is UNLOCKED:status code 1" means ur BL is unlocked.
To flash at&t files try my step by step guide in the general section. Ask if u have questions please.

[Q] How to use an Indian SGA in USA

Hi,
I bought my SGA from India. I will be in US for 2 months. When I inserted a US SIM in my phone, no network was shown.
Is it because of the difference in frequency bands of GSM in India and USA? But isn't SGA quad-band? (850/900/1800/1900)?
Can someone help me?

Indian Ace should work in USA too..
Actually, I traveled to USA with my Indian Galaxy Ace and it worked for me. I tried international roaming with my AirTel number and also tried AT&T network at USA.

have you unlocked your phone already?
if you're rooted you can use galaxy ace unlock. it's free and easily gets you the code needed for unlocking.
just search for it on the play store

I haven't unlocked my phone, but have rooted it. I don't think Indian Phones are locked.

Yes u r correct. Indian fones are not locked. Try a US based firmware or try Network Settings- Auto detect Carrier and choose mode to Auto.

Best thing to do it take it to a phone shop, they will unlock the phone for a small fee.

Just go to any phone shop in your country and ask them to unlock, they will help you.

As said by the previous post, any phone can be unlocked in any country. Go to any local shop and they should be able to help, be sure to use a trusted and well-known shop as some may end up messing up your phone.
