Does anyone know why I cannot see Adobe Flash 10.1 in the market? I have checked my build.prop and it fully identifies itself as FRF83 and 2.2. I am running a rooted AOSP rom (the one posted by paulobrien a few days ago) on a Nexus One. Could anyone who is able to see Flash 10.1 on the market maybe post their build.prop for me to test?

Not coming up in the market for me with either device I have but the leaked version works great for me, no sound issues what so ever.
I don't see in on the gTab running VEGAn beta 5.1.1 or on my Droid X.
my Flash 10.2 leak works wonderfully. no issues with sound.
Didn't come up on mine either running tnt lite 4.2.4. But done a search in the market for "flash" and it popped right up. Hopefully this helps…?
Updated from the market without a hitch with vegan 5.1.1
flash 10.2
I'm running Vegan5.1.1 and had no trouble updating from the market.
Sorry didn't mean to post twice

Confirmed. Just updated flash 10.2 via market with VeganV1B511.
Got mine last night on gingerbread aosp.
I am looking to build my own ROM based on GRJ22 / 2.3.4 using dsixda's kitchen. Is there a full stock version of 2.3.4 available for download from Google? The only direct download links I can find are just an update from GRI40.
Answering my own question since I did some investigating to find the URL:
I downgraded to and older Froyo 2.2 (FRG83D) stock ROM and was setting it up. After a moment I got an update notification for Gingerbread MR2. It said it had already downloaded it and was ready for install so I thought "Hmm, maybe I can reboot into recovery and find the file".
I found the file name in /cache after mounting it and then pasted that on the end of the normal OTA update URL and...
Code:
android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/passion/b90257ed8cd3.signed-passion-ota-121341.b90257ed.zip
It is 87.6 MB so I assume it is a full update. Hopefully this is useful for someone wanting to update or build custom ROMs on 2.3.4.
Edit: Can't post links yet... :\
Just wondering. Is that link a full 'install'? Could I load that over any version on my Nexus S?

It is a full install for Nexus One (I did a wipe from Froyo and then flashed this and worked fine). I'm not sure if the N1 and NS images are the same. If they are then I guess this would work.
Ah I just noticed you were talking about the Nexus One. I don't think it will work since the One and the S have different code names, source.android.com/source/building.html#choose-a-target

Try the following link… use the clean GRI40 rom and the modified update.zip patch to update the rom to GRJ22, then dump the nandroid to make your custom rom. Follow the instructions in dsixda’s kitchen for nandroid dumps. Works perfect.

Ultimate Online Kitchen can help changing the battery icon and a couple other items, but not the 3G icon to an H.

Hi guys,
I've recently installed cyanogen on my IncS and thought that the Talk application has the new video option...ive flashed the latest gapps and the video option isnt there.
i thought this was odd as when i had HD Revolution Rom installed i could see the camera icons.
anyone come across this and fixed it?
Cyanogen 7.0 is based on 2.3.3.
Gtalk video is in 2.3.4, but I don't know if it's in the 7.1RC1 (think it needs a newer Gapps package than is listed on that thread).
The new Cyanogen RC1 for IncS is 2.3.4
I have a screenshot but i cant post outside links yet
From http://goo-inside.me/gapps
20110613: This package is designed for Android 2.3.4, and will not work on 2.3.3. It contains all of the applications updated for 2.3.4, but does not include the new Google Talk with video chat due to there being no compatible library available for non-ARM7 and non-neon board devices, from Google or another OEM.

So I guess we have to wait until there is an updated version that does work.
I noticed the same thing with rc1 of cm7. The camera option is not visible. I was surprised to find that it was on 2.3.4. It appears that miui latest is also running 2.3.4.

I tested video in Revolution HD but it didn't work properly, I saw the one behind computer, but he didn't see me...
If you are on CM7 RC or Nighties, Use this gtalk patch from Modaco.
Install the apk
run the app, patch the gtalk
uninstall the apk.
DONE!
didn't worked for me on wildfire....
i'ws looking for some good voice chat option for htc wildfire, found this but it just crashes if click on video option, and there's no voice option for me....
So, i tried that patch - it appears to have deleted my google account and now have no contacts - and now network data access
well its working beautifully on my inc s w/ cm7 nightly 15-50.
i actually factory reset my phone and reinstall the patch for couple of times, it never goes wrong. me and my girl use gtlk video often.
i dont know why funny problems happened on your guys phone.
The gtalk patch is working fine now, i just re-synced, re-setup my apn's and all is good.
Patch is working great
I have a rooted Sprint HTC Hero with Fresh 2.4 flashed and ever since I flashed the ROM I have had major market issues. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a patch or market upgrade to fix this problem. I've been researching for a week and finally decided to post about it.
is there reason why ur using fresh rom? If not, I'd suggest using the updated roms such as (jaybobs, cm7, sense 2.3.3)
As for your question, what kind of problem?
I rooted the Xoom and have HC 3.2. However starting a few days ago, the Xoom keeps prompting me to install an OTA.
How do I get it to never OTA or tell me that there is an OTA?
Thanks.
I think there was a thread for 3.1 to stop the prompt but i didnt see one for 3.2....damn prompt. I get it and i have tiamat
There are threads in the Developer forum that offers downloads and instructions on how to upgrade from 3.2 to 3.2.1 HTK75D without losing root.
if you run tiamat 2.2.1 moray then go to developer forum thread and download then flash mod pack 3....I will attach here for reference as well...will not work for stock honeycomb though. Check developer thread foot updating without losing root as mentioned above.
I can confirm that the mod disables OTA's on Tiamat 2.2.1
