I was just wondering if a theme existed that split the notification bar, so there were two different screens that you could pull down, with different things in them, or if that was even possible.
I have a nexus one currently running Froyo.

I had a hard time finding a theme I wanted and didn't have the time to make my own, all I was wanting was a special status bar that was partially transparent. So heres what its come down to, I used the KewlGrey Theme and mixed it with the Stock DE03 Theme. Added in KewlGrey Status Bar, Status Backround, Different Font, and last but not least the Color of the Notification when you touch it.
EDIT: The forum will not allow me to post the image URLs and the ZIP for the theme is to large to be uploaded in the manager
EDIT2: Managed to upload the pics but cant get the theme up yet due to Newbie restrictions
The fact that the notification-bar icons are actually larger than the grey background bar makes it look rather messy.
Also the date (when the notification bar is pulled down) has a different grey background as well.
I think you should sort these things out first, to be honest

I actually didnt notice that till you said it, Ill get right on that.
Has anyone notice the image burn on the status bar? Have you tried either with Launcher Pro BETA or ADW Launcher without status bar and with lighter background to see if your Nexus One showing the image bar burn on the display?
Its a known issue and has been discussed a million times.
There's nothing you can do about it. I've heard if you let your screen on for hours with a white image it will go away in time, but you need to combine this with a launcher that hides the notification bar.
Nothing new. Darker status bar and rotating the screen helps to keep this from hassle happening.

Hi guys, is there any way to change the clock colour on the status bar?
I am using StatusBar+ to completely customize my status bar. It had some issues when I first started using it, but the dev has released multiple updates over the past week and it is working great for me now. It has a way to hide all but the clock until you tap the bar, so it has the ability to save our precious OLED pixels from burn-in as well.
Great app and get's two thumbs up from me.
but its only an overlay....
True, but that is why it works on a completely stock note.
Plus if you root you can suppress the system status bar, thus making it a replacement as opposed to an overlay.
Hello. I have just started to try out some custom ROMs and I did fond 2 I actually like. They are both CM 7.2 but there is one thing that bothers me the most that is probably not a big deal to most.
Whenever I tap on the notification bar, I see a transparent shadow following it down. It keeps on following when dragging down and stops about when in the middle of the dockbar icons of the ADW launcher. That shadow gets random sizes and it's hard to not notice while screen is white.
It might not be very visible on the picture but it was the best sample I could get.
Is there a way to hide it or to just make it less visible?
Hi there, I've tried to change the phone's DPI, but there's something weird...navbar, statusbar and shortcuts panel do not change with the rest of the interface! Looks like these elements cannot be modified, even with adb commands.
Has someone tried to do this thing too? Not a big issue, but the shortcuts' panel is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big for me.
No one?
I'm interested to know too. The notification bar is ridiculously tiny and there seems no way to resize it so it's easily readable.
I'm now using widgets just so i can see the time and battery power. Using a launcher that shows notifications on the apps on my home screen too.
Never had a problem like this with my pixel 2. Notification bar was legible out of the box
