Hi,
I would like to use my standard ringtones/notifications from nexus one on my i9000, how can I acces them? Where are they stored?
Is there a apk file around for the standard browser of nexus one in froyo or 2.1? I need this because the i9000 doesnt have the zoom buttons and on mutlitouch it doesnt resize the colums to fit to screen...
Thanks

I've been having some trouble making TF3d look exactly the way I want. The first thing I've been wanting to do is to have my wallpaper be in the backround of every tab. I've tried using the cabs here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432951
but since I'm using the clock from the ATT rom they don't work correctly (changes my clock into a flip clock that shows 00:00) Is it possible to do this without changing my clock?
The second thing I want to do is to change the font color to white. With help from this thread:

I know what to do but how the hell do I get the manila files onto my computer, so I can edit them!?
I couldnt get the manila files onto my computer but I was able to make open up a copy I made in my strorage card from my hex editor. The values in the tutorial and the file are completely different. Could anyone with more experience changing TF3d than I help me locate the values so I can have some white text up in this tf3d?
I'm using the stock ATT Rom (w/o the bloatware if that makes a diff)
Hello,
I am on cyanogen 6 stable and rooted. I have been playing with looks to get my phone the way I want. I love that I can change the notification bar color with this rom. However,.i want to be able to change the color of the browser as well. Is there anyway to change the browser color?
Would I be able to just get the browser apk from a rom that I like the look of and push it to my phone? Would I be able to use a browser apk from a htc desire?
Thanks for the help
still looking for a solution to this issue, ideally I would just like a black framed browser.
hello everyone,
i am trying to port the HTC_IME to a 240x320 res phone, (their is a current one floating around on here but it looks funky) so i have the .png files all resized and thats working fine the keyboard predicts and everything just fine but in each of the keys the letters are just slightly too big, what file controls the size of that
if not could anybody tell me which file controls the size of the keys to make them bigger?
also if its an xml file what would be the best way to go about making the changes?

Click to collapse
so the one for the cm build is the same as the one we already have and it looks really odd, as far as pulling it directly i dont think you can i thought it needs the roise framework to run
Im new to android and themes. I have a Sprint Evo with warm 2.2 ROM and am using launcher pro.
Im trying to use the attached wallpaper. I currently use 3 screens and would like to use this wallpaper so that each of the 3 sections is a screen. What can i do?
Im familiar with gimp/photoshop but i dont know what dimensions i need or what app i would use to get this effect. Thanks!
I hope i make sense but here is what i want:
(Left Screen) (Main/Middle Screen) (Right Screen)
|Star Wars| |Empire Strikes Back| |Return of the Jedi|
If you split the image into the 3 sections (using gimp/photoshop) which are the same resolution as the screen on your device (eg. 480x800 for HDPI devices such as the Nexus One, Nexus S, Desire, Desire HD etc); then put them somewhere you remember on your SD Card, download the Multipicture LiveWallpaper (don't worry it is free) off the market and choose your 3 images. Hope that helps
Yeah what that guy said or you just do the same thing and seperate each into its own image set res and then rejoin them once youve done it to all three walla one wallpaper set for three screens!
Installed the rom on the SD and it's brilliant.
Only problem so far is that it seems the wallpaers are not full resolution.
Is there any way to have full resolution wallpapers?
I have tried wallpaer set & save (which corrected this problem on the rooted stock rom with launcher), but it doesn't work well in froyo (it sets wallpapers with even worse resolution in froyo)
I had a similar issue and posted a question in a different thread and someone was able to give me a resolution that works. Make sure your images are 1200x1024 and then download ES File Explorer free from the market. Use it to browse to the folder where your wallpapers are and open the image you want to use using ES Image Browser and then long tap and apply as wallpaper.
Seems to be the best way to apply wallpapers properly.
