Requires a minimum of a Cortex processor. If you could run it, it would be absolutely useless.

ive hit around 12, maybe 13, havnt hit 15 yet, even though, its still to laggy for me
i've been waiting for an update since the beginning of kiddGBC the dev claims there's a reason we can't faster, i'll see if i can find the email and put up his reason. if i remember correctly it was that java stuff was missing something
The KiddGBC developer is to silly to run native code on the G1 so his emulator uses only dalvik and so it sucks big time!
It is indeed possible to run native code on the G1 ... the ScummVM emulator and the arcade one does it!
Hey there,
I was just wondering if there are any free/paid games for HTC Hero which can make use of G-Sensor?
Something like a racing game like what is already there for iPhone where you steer the car by just turning the phone?
Thanks.
Don't know of any car games, just some other games like. Papijump, Papipole, Labyrinth, and fishing. Maybe someone can comment on a car game?
Good luck

Is there a way to preload all google map data for a region/state?
In alabama, there are often areas where I won't have data, but I want to navigate there, so I need to get the data on the phone before I go.
Thanks,

It would be better to get a navigation app. I am not sure if google maps allows for offline data.
Maps 5.0 does it.

I think it does it only for areas traveled by caching the data.
But I presume based on the original question that the poster was wanting an app that could have entire map offline.
The only way to really use maps offline is to download something like mapdroid. I'm using it currently overseas and it works great-as long as all you need is help locating and finding your way around
I really wanna learn how to mod angry birds so i can play it. And then in the future mod other apps. If any one wants to show me how to with AngryBirds, PM me.

1. Delete the file libGLES_qcom.so from system/lib/egl to force software-rendering.
2. Install AdFree Android to block in-app ads
3. Install latest Angry Birds from market
4. On main Angry Birds screen, use menu in lower-LEFThand corner to disable backgrounds (button with mountain) and sounds.
5. Smooth sailing.
Thanks to the both of you!

I wasn't able to play angry birds until I followed your suggestion!! Thanks alot man!

There's no way of forcing hardware rendering as far as I know. Did you mean forcing software rendering as per my instructions?

The benefit is that on CyanogenMod 7 for Heroc, the hardware rendering is incomplete/broken and behaves differently. With hardware rendering, angry birds slows down significantly, while with software rendering, it just gets choppier but maintains speed.
