I tried superoneclick but the market fix doesn't work. Does Eris still work ?
anybody knows ?
I modify my own build.prop and copy with root explorer. Root reqd. That is all these apps are doing anyway. Better of u do it yourself.

Thank you, and another thanks button press

Did it work?
App loads loads, tells you that you need headphones plugged in....plugged some in....and nothing.....I'll leave this one to the DEV's to figure out...someone mentioned that the radio's in the T-Mobile G2X and optimus 2X are slightly different, so it may either be that the G2X radio doesnt have the FM tuner, or we just dont have the right drivers / mapping in the framework (my guess)
I got force close on Atrix

I installed the apps, but I don't hear any radio on my G2x.
Installed all three APKs on my T-mobile G2X then ran DDMS to see what was happening in the background, here is the link to the pastebin:

Hope this helps
Greetings,
Quick question for you guys...
I just installed Cyanogenmod Nightly for LG 2x and it does not come with the FM Radion app.
I have managed to install 2 of the 3 files
FMRadioWidget.apk refuses to install and gives the following error each time "Application not Installed"
Each time I try to launch the FM app it crashes.
I have the phone rooted and root explorer has root access.
Also tried to use Astro...
Anyone has any ideas?

I started a thread today about this at the g2x forum here. FYI, the app Anycut shows a hidden menu function that includes an FM test. It has two empty fields...one for frequency, one for volume.
Hope this helps.
better try this one
I believe that FM radio has to be enabled on the kernel level, not just by pushing an apk.
Anyone with an update on this? Will lg gingerbread update enable fm radio?

I can not dowload.are you upload another site ?
So my biggest gripe with my phone from day one is the moto messaging app. Now that we have root I am trying to install the vanilla asop app.
I have tried pulling the app from my og and installing in /system/app and setting permissions right. Upon reboot the app is installed however when you try to run it it just FCs
I also came across this link http://www.droid-life.com/2010/04/15/download-new-mms-apk-with-custom-settings/ which I believe is the same mms.apk used in cm7 right now. I tried both sets of instructions, using root explorer and adb. Both give me the same result as before with FC.
Thoughts? Ideas?
I have tried with and without the moto messaging app installed as well.
bump? Anyone have any idea?
Hello, grab the APK from the OP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1222474
It is Cyanogenmod 2.3.5 MMS, I have it working on my phone. Just install it like a normal app.

Thank you! Worked perfectly!
Hi there. I recently installed the ROM miracle v4 (a CM7 mod) on my galaxy ace, the install went fine and everything seemed to be working perfectly. It's a bare bones ROM, so it doesn't have all the usual system apps I need in it. This is where my problem starts. I downloaded the package of system apps from the mod thread, but when I tried installing them, it says they were not installed. All other apks and apps from Google Play install just fine. Any help is appreciated, I'm stumped.
Miracle v4 thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583871
Please the apps in /system/app
Change app permissions to rw-r--r--
Change ownership to both root (0)
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?
I'm sorry I don't understand how to do this exactly could you explain a little more clearly please?
Edit: Nevermind I figured it out

Hello,
I have gotten tired of the Chrome browser and it's lag. I am trying to install the stock AOSP browser and Flash, but none of the all files I downloaded will work. They all say there was a problem parsing the package or application not installed. Can anyone post a working KFHD aosp browser?
Thanks
