Which rom are you using?
I am having this same problem
I have just recently installed Legacy V1.5. I used to always use this app before. any help?
Curious how you achieved this. Mine just closes automatically
I just tried slingplayer as well and does same thing. Some programs just won't run on it at this time I think.
I have it working...sometimes. It's strange, about half the time it'll run ok and the other half it just closes like you guys have seen. It seems to have something to do with either free memory or another program using the sound system. I'm still trying to narrow it down, but it DOES work.
Did you modify accounts.db by chance?
No. The only system level changes I've made are nooter, multitouch and direct app installs (all done to the letter by the instructions on NookDevs). I've got Dolphin HD, Angry Birds, Slideme, SlingPlayer and AndTask installed.
It works for me but sometimes I have to restart it about 10 times to make it work.
Try opening it in landscape vs portrait.

That doesn't seem to have an impact as far as I can tell... When it does start it's always in landscape regardless of what the screen was before. It starting at all is still hit or miss even when already in landscape.
Well I figured out a system to get slingbox working (for me atleast). Run advanced task killer, try to open slingbox 3 times, if it doesn't work just repeat as necessary. Now mine boots every time now.. weird...
what version are you all running?
I have it working, but the picture quality is not very good. I have the HD box, and all I get is SD crappy quality.
mines work fine
Working fine for me as well.
Most of the posts not working are old. Maybe its a 1.0 vs 1.0.1 issue?

Mine is working.

Mine works with no problem, but I'm running an old version.
Slingplayer works for me with my Slingbox ProHD but I can't get to the menu to change the input (device) nor can I edit the slingbox properties.
So I noticed today that the google maps doesnt offer any of the "fly by" modes, cache or 3d buildings that it does on my droid X.
What gives?! Is there a way to fix this?
I'm running vegan beta 5.1 and have the 3d buildings once u zoom in far enough, however, I can't do the tilt or turn feature I have on my nexus s or the vibrant with 2.2
Wonder why? any idea if anyone is working on a fix for this?
Maybe because it doesnt have an internal GPS?
From what we can see maps is disabling some features on its own. I've been trying to mess with it when I have the time. It can be fixed I'm sure, but it will require some hacking.

Tried two versions of SPB TV - one from the market and an older apk that I had. Both launch fine but do not get channels. When I press play button it simply disappears with no FC message or anything. Anyone is using it and had any luck?
Thanks
Hey there,
I've been trying to get webcam-viewing to work on my Nook Color. Have tried several builds of Skype and Gtalk but have so far been unsuccesful. The furthest I got was seeing a split second of my contact's webcam image before it failed. This was the only time it seemed to work. Different builds only show "Calling contact..." and then it automatically closes.
Has anyone in here succesfully watched a contact's webcam? Which app and which build are you using? Thanks!
Btw, I'm using Cyanogenmod7 nightly 172 flashed to the Nook's internal memory.
No luck so far. Anyone got it to work?
Having tried several webcams and all (to my knowledge) the video enabled chat programs out, I have been unable to get any to work. I can connect the cam to the nook using host mode and the nook recognizes the cam but the software side will not enable use of the cam nor have I been able to see the other users cam. This is unfortunate but something I have had to come to terms with. Android, on the nook, seems to be doomed to go without webcam software but the things we have been able to do with the nook, thanks to the cm7 team (et all), have been nothing short of amazing.
Thanks to all the devs out there for making the nook so much more than an e-reader.

I have been able to view either camera from my Thunderbolt running the generic GB tweaked Skype version (google it) on the Nook Color running the same tweaked GB version. Make sure you set the advanced settings on the tweaked version to at least one camera on the NC. My NC is currently running an older build like you have (around 172, can't recall specifically).
EDIT: GB Skype that works on mine HERE
Looked at Settings and I'm still on build 151...
EDIT2: Lost video capability when I just updated to build 200. Will reinstall latest GB tweaked skype...
You could try Google+'s Hangout feature. Just leave the hangout session running on you PC and use the G+ app to join. Haven't tried it myself but worth the shot.
