No man. That would be piracy and I don't condone it. Resort to the android market its a great app and theskymove please remove that link from my thread. This is to inform about a free amazon app store app for the day not piracy

The beta had a expiration date of July 20th. I was in the beta test for a little bit but I didn't get it for free. It costs $4. 99 on the market so no it's not free. Only free today on Amazon App Store.

That's weird.... I know i updated for free though.
Sorry for asking for the apk. I thought since it was free it wouldn't be piracy. Amazon wants to show the UK some love soon.

Nope. It's only for a limited time. I don't regret buying it during its launch sale either. You should go buy it from the Android Market, it's a really spectacular keyboard.
You have a 15 minute refund window if you don't like it but I honestly don't think 15 minutes is enough and SwiftKey shouldn't disappoint.

I'm sure they'll expand globally as time goes by. Probably has something to do with licensing or whatever.
You know it ain't to bad this keyboard. Very good prediction on it and I have not typed a key wrong yet. Any more themes coming out for this?
EDIT: You can tell I ain't got used to not pressing space after full stop yet lol.

Yeah. That's one thing I had problems with when I first used it but you could disable it if you wanted to. Like I would press period then space and it would autocomplete a word. You could disable it if you want, but I think in the long run it'll be worth it.
And nope. No themes, before SwiftKey X I used Smart Keyboard Pro which allowed people to make custom themes. It was really accurate but SwiftKey was just too amazing to pass up. I miss it but ehh, the neon theme looks cool. There are 3 different themes in the app/keyboard.
Not going to lie though, SwiftKey X makes me love my phone & tablet more especially the tablet version, its amazing with the split keyboard.
Yea it is cool. Glad I got it now.

gotta say this is a lot faster than typing on swype.
word prediction is a huge upgrade, i constantly have to make corrections on swype whereas having the "learning" function makes things a lot easier in swiftkey
I feel like this keyboard has slow down lil bit my phone and I check by unstalling. And it was slowing my phone. Was using 44 MB of the ram
But keyboard is great nice looking

I don't understand why,....
Swift X gives itself rights to:
- read SMS or MMS stored on your device or SIM card
- full Internet access
-Allows an application to create network sockets.
- Phone calls: determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, etc.
- modify/delete USB storage contents modify/delete SD card contents
None of these are necessary other than for the application to send information from your phone to their servers....and they make you pay for collecting just say usage info? No opt-outs, inadequate privacy and TOS leave me in a position to keep saying no to this type of app.
Even with a rooted phone and a good firewall....why??? Am I missing something?

Read SMS: uses SMS to add words and predictions to dictionary
Internet access: You can login to Facebook/twitter and learn from Facebook posts and tweets
Network sockets: see above
Phone calls: almost all apps use this, most likely do disable internet connection
Modify SD: to save predictions.
you can opt out of the internet access by not setting up facebook/twitter integration.

So I like the concept blinkfeed and having various news sources together. What I don't like is not being able to have control over what news is displayed and having to pick from the few sources that HTC thinks I want.
Is there an app that in concept does the same things but allows me to use any rss feed as a source?
I've played with flipboard a little but it really isn't the same and doesn't seem to give you the same type of feel but with only the items you choose...

Ya silly its called flipboard it's cool!
