I'm getting this message:
"The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again!"
After rooting the phone I uninstalled some Samsung official apps and then the app called "Talk".
I'm assuming that problem is that. Is there anyway to recover it (could some one send it to me)?

I rooted my tmobile G1 everything works but when i click contacts it just closes and kicks me out along with email. Everything else is good except those two thing. It reads "the appication (Process.com.android.development) has stopped unexpectedly. Please Try again) ....

Trying wiping your phone and re-flash everything. Should do the trick.
and
You can also try Cyan's new stable rom 5.0.7 Eclair. It's really smooth.
So ya i will go to gallery and apply a pic as wallpaper and it stays the same default cognition one. Also, is it possible to rearrange the application icons?
That version has Launcher2 as the only launcher. If this is the one you are using, there are no customization available. You need Touch Wiz, Launcher Pro, etc...

the application Messaging (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectantly. Please try agin.
and it appears i can no longer connect to my network.

bad flash. start over
Ok had to reinstall but its working except when I launch gallery from the home screen it will crash with.an error.message. So how is one to view pics on cognition?

are you using titanium backup to restore system data?
Yes i did. But it started working on its own so idk..

dont use titanium backup to restore SYSTEM data. thats a no-no. just do apps+data, not SYSTEM data
Hello everyone. First post here and while I have tinkered with many things Android related I am still a relative noob. I recently flashed Phiremod V5 and followed all the steps to the letter.
Everything works great until I try and restore some of my apps with Titanium Backup. As soon as I do this I start to get this message when accessing the Market.
"The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
I then get the same message about every 30 seconds. I tried to fix permissions with Rom Manager and after it gets through that process and I reboot it hangs at the Bee logo during boot up.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? You help is greatly appreciated.
Try disabling music sync on your Google account...

My problem is that, since I flashed my samsung i9003 (installing froyo 2.2.1 I9003XXKB3), all the apps related with camera (as barcode scanner, google goggles, layar, or other apps with augmented reality) doesn't work. When closed, a window shows up and says: "Sorry! The application Goggles (process com.google.android.apps.unveil) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
This happen with all the apps I told before (each one with its particular process), so, anyone knows any fix for this problem? Or anybody have the same problem?

My best guess is that before flashing you didn't factory reset & unrooted (if you had rooted).
I don't really know the fix but suggest that you 1st factory reset now & then flash again with XXKB3, it should sort out the problem if not do report back.
There are 4 users who have updated to xxkb3 but none have this problem.

is it a stock firmware or a custom one??
A some point I was on a stock firmware and played with the email (basically removed it) and had the exact same problem (if it is not force close the screen is black).
there are few threads in here about that problem with a fix, search for: no email camera

Hey Man, thank you!! I reset and everything works well. I wanna thank sgsI9003 too, cause removing the e-mail app could cause the problem. Now I didn't removed and I'm not goinna try.

I am a newbie, i am using spice MI 410, yesterday i have flashed the customer ROM "20120621-NIGHTLY-CM9-A99" in my device successfully. but while using this ROM i am repeatedly getting the notification "android.process.acore stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I am unable to use my phone now due to this, how to fix this error, any ideas.
Please help, your help in this regard is very much appreciated.
go to
applications-> all -> google services framework
and clear data and then restart ...... see if works .....

Remember even when you want to flash or use another rom always do full wipe then flash the rom that you want to use..
