Hi All..its been a long time since i released my Rom..mainly due to my Corrupt Himalaya ( which is still not functioning well )..This Rom has been tweaked alot to run smoother and faster than ever..So here you go guyz ..Enjoy

wow looks really nice! is it based on shekhars or sonblacks rom or is it new? n would the taskbar n bottom bar remain the same with different tsks n colors? or would it return to the old bevel... which im tired of now :S

Unfortunately Yes..To acheive what i have done..its a simple TSK file by the name of "Ather's Black theme " also awailable in my OEM Package and will seperately attach it after adding the download page

the theme isnt included in rom n dont know how to use the oem one... otherwise just flashed rom... will report back on stability.. although must say very clean n simple! nice work man! now upload the .tsk too

Are all these skins are cooked in the ROM or installed from the ExtROM? Can you please post the dialer screenshot too....

Just a quick nooby question. I currently have a WM6.1 Build 19209 by c_shekar. Can I simply flash this over it or is there still some procedure I have to go through? Thanks.

No special procedures. Just go to the bootloader mode (Press and hold Power+reset+Action buttons together) and flash it as you did before. Dont forget to do a hard-reset as instructed in the end.

Every thing is cooked in the ROM..as for the dialer screenshot..if some can post it i will update the first post with it..i have a problem with Hima so idnt use SIM card in it

[THE] 21-Mar-09 bcmobile Blue Carbon Theme

Hi all.
Just thought I would upload a theme I have been working on for a few weeks. I have designed, redesigned and redesigned again and finally have something that may be release-worthy.
The theme is based on Carbon-Fibre, Blue and Steel. Some images are remnants of earlier designs. I will eventually update all graphics to match the base theme. If you notice any weird / out-of-place graphics, let me know and I will update them for you.
For this release, I used the XBMods HD Manila files as 'templates'. (thanks XBMod!) but it I think should work for any CFC Manila version. I recommend installing XBMods manila from here:

My ZIP contains a full set of manila QTC files (all graphics, no code). If you want a specific part of my theme (eg icon, hero, slider) just reply and I will extract them. Alternatively, you could use M9 Editor or CFC_GUI to extract them yourself.

Instructions:
INSTALL XBMODs MANILA FIRST IF YOU INTEND TO USE IT
1 - Copy the ZIP file to your phone
2 - Deactivate TF3D using SETTINGS=>Today, untick TouchFLO 3D
3 - Open the ZIP and extract all files to \Windows (overwrite all files)
4 - Re-activate TouchFLO 3D TF3D from using SETTINGS=>Today, tick TouchFLO 3D
5 - Enjoy!
Uninstall will require a hard reset. Deleting all _manila files is not sufficient (at least not if your ROM contains Rhodium Manila, or none)

I just checked it and it is fine.
If you are using the Zip folders function built in to WIndows, make sure you have "show hidden/system files" enabled.
Could you please try it again and let me know how you go?

I don't lnow what i am doing wrong, but I still have an empty folder. I disabled virus protection, tried windows zip and 7-zip and no luck. I have opened 100's of zips and just can't figure this one out.

Try again. The first one was compressed in ZIP format using WinRAR - that may be a problem.
The new one was compressed using the built-in ZIP compression in Windows 2008.

Works and looks great, Thank You, Do have the moon wallpaper to share? The only thing I see so far is the clock is hard to read, it's like the top and bottom lights are not lit. Also the stock tab is plain until you go to it then it changes to your design. Thanks again

Glad you like it. The clock was just slapped together last minute. The effect that makes the top and bottom of the clock look dim was deliberate - and a bad idea in hindsight
I will work on a better clock for a future release.

the screenshots look increble, i cant wait to try it out,,, as to the empty folder, i used winrar to extract all the files, but everything is there, just hidden, in fact if u put the zip file inside the phone and open it with the cell fones zip software ull see al the manillas inside, my only concern is this,,, im nt sure how to do it or if im doing it wrong however if i try extract the manillas its only giving me the option to extract into "my documents" or and sub folder in my documents, and if i try copy and paste it win the windows directory its saying insuficiant privalges or somethin like that, basically its not allowing me, is there a program or something i need for it? if so pls let me know coz it could help me in more then just using this great theme... thank you

You will need to use Total Commander. It is capable of seeing and 'overwriting' the ROM files. You can download it from here:

It is a very useful app. Something everyone should have on their phone.

That is my next project. All I need is a full set of Rhodium QTC files. Do you know where I can find a set (short of flashing yet another ROM)? HD Manila has been made available as a CAB. I haven't seen a cab for TP2 yet.
Having said that, it should work on TP2 Manila but will be missing the landscape 'bits'.

Works with TP2 Manila. Some graphics are missing. I will hopefully release a new version tomorrow with fixed clock and a seperate TP2 manila theme with all the landscape graphics

Didn't work for me. I ended up getting a white screen which prevented me from using anything. Clock, slider, and main screen all "Bleached" out.

Thats a first. What manila version are you running?

Sorry still a bit new to ROM configs and Manila editing n such. I'm using the basic HTC Touch Pro ROM. Nothing has been flashed or changed. According to the device info screen, my ROM version is 1.03.651.3 if that means anything to you. How can I check to see what Manila version I'm running?

I will update the firt post with some instructions. It probably isn't clear what needs to be done if you're new to TouchFlo.
I recommend you use XBMods HD Manila from here:

Although I believe it should work on any CFC compressed version of Manila.
Like with just about any change to Manila, you will need to:
1) Go to Start=>Settings=>Today=>Items. Untick TouchFlo3D
2) Install XBMod HD Manila
3) Reset
4) If TouchFlo doesnt restart automatically, go back in to Start=>Settings=>Today=>Items and reselect TouchFlo3D
That will upgrade your TouchFlo version to the version that ships with the Touch HD. XBMod has resized, recoded everything to work on VGA.
Repeat the steps above, but this time copy or extract my files to \windows in step 2 instead.

when music didnt load after flash, u can go to library then select a song and it will load all your songs from the sd card without taking it out

first off: THANK YOU FOR YOUR FANTASTIC ROM! LOVING IT Think I found my new favorite chef!
Currently I am running Lotus 1.0 with Manila 2.5 from your other thread. Everything runs extremely smooth and fast! Things missing might be autorotate, htc volume slider and htc task manager. Other than that I am very very happy
Now a quick question on the 'Sense' rom in this thread. Can it be considered as Lotus 2.0? Are there changes other than the new windows build in regard to 1.0?

If you want to assign rotate screen within settings-->buttons, do the following, (I don't remember who's the author of this tweek):
With a registry editor go to
'HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI' and change the value to 0.
Then go to Settings – Buttons and it’s there for you.

VERY IMPORTANT

This will solve the black box, on 2.5 and also hopefully the problems with WVGA cab, let me know either way.
Also for the alarm screen itself you need to select a GTX wallpapers, as i did not want to change your reg entries, as you may have a wallpaper that is special to you.
There are 2 choices
either \Program Files\ageye\G-Alarm\Skins\GTX\wallpaper.jpg
or \Windows\GTXWP.png [recommended but only the hd2 others may struggle loading the windows file through file browser on G-Alarm itself] [reg edit also poss on this]
Right that is all of the Important parts
END IMPORTANT
Installation
Download cab - WVGA or VGA
Install to same place as your G-Alarm ie device/storage card
Go into G-Alarm
Settings
Advanced
Select GTX
Restart G-Alarm
Enjoy!
Some notes as to why there are two, I changed the alarm screen so that, anywhere below the clock and above the media bar will snooze.
Also this could be used on QVGA, but when i tried it is looked awful... So not recommended.

no problem, here you go. The tiger i have found somewhere in the outerspace (thanks to the original creator). But i don't know anymore where. i only changed things (colors, background, ...), but important is that this is done now for GTX

1st thank you for your kind words. That is oil on the machine, and shure we are working under pressure, about that the thread is started . But it needs some time (around 1 1/2 week to have the next stuff ready). But follow the status lines in the 1st posting. And.. not all apps are in the list, yet. Because we will have stuff to surprise everyone .
EDIT:
Next stuff is ready today, but not published. xdaShutdown application was the next victim. So i hope we can publish them tonight, al least tomorrow.

disable Sense (Start Menu > Settings > Today > Items > HTC Sense)
install Co0kie's Home Tab 1.8.5
install .sencity 0.5 beta
reboot and enable Sense
Knows issues:
not working on older manila builds and stock ROMs
colon doesn't resize in different clock modes
Music and Pictures Tabs aren't skinned in landscape
double Internet Tab text (on some manila builds)
error reporting icon not skinned in Settings Tab
notification bubbles on the slider appear under the circle (on some manila builds)
bad icon design in Stocks Tab

.sencity will be released for WVGA only. VGA is out of the question, unless someone's willing to port it.

If people will be interested in this project I will gladly share all the PSDs needed for creating other resolutions. For now there's not much to share - ❖ sencity is making its first baby steps and several apps needs skinning.
For now I can only say that for sure I'll be skinning Phone Canvas, Enzai Keyboard, Sense 2.5 (with Co0kie's Home Tab 1.8.5), CorePlayer, Slide2Shutdown, Resco File Explorer and many more. I will also release an Icon Set.

I'm impressed.
This will have a future!

Did you follow all the steps in post 1? If so, try downloading the cab again, you're file is probably corrupted. If neither solutions work, let me know and I'll attach a zip file to copy directly to your device.

Yes i downloaded it 3 times and all 3 failed. I'm running on WM 6.5 with the standard lockscreen. No HTC lockscreen or whatever. Thanks

Just to be clear - you have a WVGA device right? If so, unzip and copy all the PNG files to \Windows and the two CPR files to \Windows\LockScreen using Resco Explorer. Overwrite the originals and when Resco Explorer asks do you want to replace the files in ROM click "OK". Just remember to backup the original files in case something goes wrong.

Yeap, mine's a WVGA. i did what you told me too and the slider and layouts were changed. Thanks! However the notifications icons did not change. is it because i dont have existing files with the "htc_icn_**" names?
