I'm currently running CyanogenMod and I noticed that after I unplug my phone from charging, it keeps the orange LED light on still. I've been searching through the settings, and I can't figure out how to get it to stop (unless I reboot, but that's obviously a little too much to have to do to shut off the LED), so can anyone tell me how I can stop this?

There is an LED fix .zip. I have it on my phone but im not home right now, let me see if I can find it for you

Whenever you get the chance is good
btw, are there any other problems the you've got fixes for? That way if I run into anything that's already fixed I wont have to go looking for it.

Ill get on XDA from my phone and upload the .zips... gimmi a few minutes

Recently whenever I turn my Kaiser on from standby it comes on with the keylock on. I don't think I changed anything to make it do this, and can't see how to stop it - so it comes on unlocked.
Can anyone help? I assume there's a registry setting somewhere, as the control panel doesn't seem to help.

did u try settings/personal/lock ?
Yes, that's all off/unchecked. When I turn the phone on I have to press the left soft button, which says unlock, then an on screen button saying unlock. That's what I'm trying to stop happening.

#3 there is a suggestion, try it.
Thanks for your suggestion, but I've tried turning it off and on, and soft resetting the phone, and it doesn't make any difference. THe other thing I've noticed is that when I finish a phone call the phone locks as well.

Try to search for it here on xda via the search function, I am prety sure that it is solved somewhere here.

I am back. Dont u have installed any software that can cause it?
Found it! Didn't think I had installed anything recently, but I've just uninstalled an image viewing program called XnView and it's sorted now.

Arrgh! On closer inspection when my phone is connected to the PC via usb the lock doesn't come on. When it's not connected it still does on turn on or at the end of calls. This is getting really irritating!
Any more ideas anyone? Please?
Ok, so i have 5.0.2H, and i can download any other application so far, except for pacman
its not getting stuck on downloading, its actually giving me a black triangle with a ! in the center of it in the notification bar and it says "Declined"... any suggestions?
if not, got the apk for me?

well ive downloaded other apps that didnt work with the magic rom and it wasnt "Declined", plus declined sounds like a much more harsh way of saying "it doesnt work on your phone", id expect google to say something like "not compatible" or something lol

Guess your NOT "I'm Feeling Lucky"
You probably don't want it on 5.02 anyway. Screen is flickering for the first 5 sec to the point where I cant even play it and screen goes completely black after that.
If you still want to try it..... nano-backup your 5.02, revert to JF R33and download packman. Since your apps are on SD it will stay there even after you revert to 5.02.

well i never play it, and someone asked me to send the pacman apk since there market was messing up, so i figured id check to see if it was protected, and i was declined, i guess i wasnt used to google saying "No!" lol
recently my phone has been acting weird, for an example, today, i was at work and i was responding to a text, and as i was typing my phone suddenly froze, and then next thing i see is the "android" screen and it starts back up, im just wondering if anyone else has this problem, its been doing this for about 3 days now? or if anyone could tell me how to get around this problem itd be really great, thanks..

Some background info would be nice.
yeah I had this same problem when i was on an earlier version of CM experimental build, the problem for me was that it would do what i would call a soft reboot, where the android loading screen would appear and load for a couple seconds then go back to the home screen.
I found this problem out in the browser when i was trying to go back to the prvious pagr it would "reset" I dont know the cause but maybe you should get a Log of the error or when this happens and post it here or send to Cyanogen
Yeah some more background information would help us assit you with the issue. If possible create a signature with information about the ROM you use and any settings.

You should try a different rom to see if its still acting up. If so you might wanna think about a screen replacement.

im trying to avoid that i tried a bunch of roms i was thinking if i unroot my phone will that fix it
Has anyone had any problems with CM Recovery brakeing the phone trying to format the ext-sdcard/ sdcard1.
The phones red light will flicker after i remove the battery but not with it :/
anyone have any ideas, tried all the basic stuff

not sure if any of it is relevant to you or will work for you but if not maybe you could ask there and somebody might be able to help

Thanks for pointing me to the right thread, although it didn't help my situation. By the process of elimination I say its the battery, but still can't see how flashing the ext-sdcard would brake it.
Without the battery I get red led flashes, which to my knowledge is a low battery charge (which is how it should behave)

yes no luck there
No green/blue led turns on, when you connect the phone in fastboot/flashmode to the pc?
Have you tried to charge the phone for at least 3-4 hours and then try again to turn it on, or connect to the pc with the previously listed modes?

yup, i tried everything in the thread that was suggested, the last thing to try would be uart but i don't have the equipment
fix the phone, it was a bad connection on the battery, but broke the power button in the processes , thanks for your help guys, i can rest assure that my kernel didn't brake it
