I'm looking for Arabic RUU

Hi,
HTC announced for HTC Legend to be available at Middle east, I'm looking for the official Arabic RUU.
Please if you have it or if you know how to find it please share it

Hisham brother, may i ask if the Legend is available in Saudi? i want to buy one for my dad over seas but if its in stores i guess it would be better to buy from there.

No, They released official RUU for Legend and it works great also Legend available now in Egypt.

rooted but it doesn't have the market app .

I will update the Arabic ROM with market asap.. However I guess the market app will only be available in English tough..

Already got it but mine says KA6.

That means KA7 is a leak above official..

Wonder if this will be the OTA? Hopefully we'll know soon.
IF this is the OTA, would loading it via ODIN be identical to getting it via OTA or would anything be missing/different?

yes I read that is why I said IF but as you should know from the past what was it JI2 that was out via Kies and then JI6 was the official OTA. I have yet to see anyone on any forum today saying they got an OTA for Froyo.

I'm monitoring Samsungs opensource page to see if they are adding the link to it.

how is mini Kies OTA? it's not as I said JI2 was sent out via Kies then retracted and later JI6 went OTA and then Kies. get what I'm saying. who got it without KIES I haven't seen anyone.

I just connected my odin flashed KA6 leak vibrant to Mini kies and got "latest version" 11/01/19. Earlier this morning I got unregistered device in mini kies.

HI there,
got FroyoMod 2.5.0 running on my Milestone. Just wanted to ask wheter theres an App to see if theres any OTA Update waiting. I would not like to reflash to my old nandroid Backup and check with that... so is there an easier solution?
2.5.0 doesn't got any OTA Check within it (Under Settings is only telphone umber and such, but the OTA Update SEtting is gone... )

For stock roms, there is an app called fota.apk which checks for OTA updates.

is there some source where i can download fota.apk? I think most ppl want to get rid of it... but, I'm different ;-)

I can get you the apk from the moto leak, but how will you access it. It is not linked to settings?

You will get it to install using FM, but it doesn't create any icon for you to launch.

I'm 100% positive as soon as there is an OTA available, you will notice a new thread here saying something like "froyo OTA available"
But hey, it could take a while for something like that to happen (an OTA from Motorola)

S-OFF & OTA

If I flash the stock recovery, and re-lock the bootloader while having S-OFF could I take any OTA update, and still be able to unlock the bootloader and root? Would it keep S-OFF?

There is no need to take the OTA if you are S-OFF.
Then again there is NEVER a need to take an OTA.

Alrighty, so your a developer, how long do you think it would take to make the firmware available for us non-ota takers? I am just having troubles out of the 4.3 update. Thanks

Usually, after an update rolls out, someone puts out a flashable for s-off users the same day, maybe the next day, as soon as they have the download zip.

Lol I'm not a developer, the firmware is usually available withing 24 hours after we get the update.
What do you mean you are having troubles?

I'll just call you a "BigHelper" then lol! It's getting to hot to charge or just whenever I use it, on or off the charger, Signal sucks, LAG, did I mention that it gets hot!?! Lol thanks for the info!

Being rooted doesn't prevent OTAs, modifying /system does. That said, it'll still notify you and download the update, it will just give you errors when trying to install it.

Of course we need a new thread for it! It's like, super important and stuff. I think a new thread should be posted for every single member that gets an OTA!!
WHO'S WITH ME??!?!?

I can't start a new thread because i installed it myself few days ago.:crying:
Tempted flash back 4.4.4, then wait for the OTA so i to can start a thread so i don't miss out.:good::laugh:

As mentioned we do not need a thread for each person who gets the update, many have already and it has been posted in multiple threads. Please search before posting and creating a new thread.
