Hey guys a friend of mine has the G1 and has been trying to find an emulator that will play Super Mario Bros. Can you guys point me in the right direction? And also where to get the game itself?
snesoid is a great super nes emulator... i dont remember how much i paid for it, but its not that expensive
lookup "pub:yongzh". He made emulators for everything from the nes to gba to ps1. His emulators cost from $3.50 to $4. Also, I can't post links to individual games because they are considered "warez" and I would not like to be banned, but google is your friend =p

Here are some games I found. These games are not in the Market as of 1/17/09
As i find more I would add more. If anybody finds good games add them here.
Download links below:
REMOVED LINKS DO TO BEING WAREZ!!!
Please refrain from posting any more, warning1
EDIT: These are free. No trials I think. Some are unreleased games. I like the tetris its the real one from EA Games.
are thes e free or trial ???
I have tried monopoly and bejeweled and they seem free it mentioned nothing about an expiration or trial. Monopoly is very fun. With updated Property, Utilities and Rail Roads are now Airports, Properties Are much more expensive but so is all the money you receive. Basically its Monopoly for the 21st century.
only drawback is the game play is a tad choppy.
Great find! Thanks! Hey, I wonder what happened to the Quake/doom demo? There was a video showing someone at some convention showing a demo right before the G1 was released... One of those great apps. that never reappeared on the marketplace after the initial release. Then I heard someone saying that the java layers wouldn't provide adequate framerate for playing higher end games like that and that the Quake demo was made to play around the java layers. Also other types of emulation have to been very slow to make due to this including coreplayer which the developers seem to have given up on. But I guess my question is now that everyone has root access who wants it, can these types of applications and emulators be created to bypass the java layers and run a decent framerate? Anyone know or have any ideas?
I installed SIm city and the controls were very hard to use. Shame I want to play it but its to frustrating to play.
Yeah I see the quake demo in a video of android's beta stages but haven't seen it since.
First post updated.
I'm pretty sure this would be considered "warez"? Probably against forum policy...

Not necessarily maybe if the games were out on the market with a price than this would be "warez."
Guess what its not on the market and their are no prices on these .apk files as of 1/17/09.
So i would continue to share until I see these on the market with a price tag.
Thank you

They may not be on the Android Market, but they are most definitely not free apps.
http://www.eamobile.com/Web/smartphone-games
This is a borderline issue. Since the market doesn't charge is it technically "free" for now? Is that site the makers of the games?? Are they charging for a free program? putting them in the wrong.
EDIT: Closing the thread do to the apk are WAREZ
I am just wondering what you all like to do in meetings...
Does anyone have cool games they like and work well on the tilt?
Maybe cabs? Or links?
Thank you.
There are plenty of threads kicking around with links in - emulators too.
If you go into the PDA Ultimate X-V5 ROM thread, on the first page there is a rar link to all of the games he's put in his ROMs.
There's a few good, but basic ones in there.
Have fun!

I have that one, but I was hoping for maybe some different ones...
I tried searching but man there are about a thousand threads and none really specifically for games, I thought if links or cabs were posted here for all to see it would be easier to find?
Thank you anyways.
I love the dark knight game, dopewars, and cant forget the emulators.
games...hmmm
well there's:
azgard defense
nfs undercover
asphalt 3 & 4 HD
Games
Call of Duty 2 was nice and works well on the tilt not sure about the multi-player version tho. I've been playing StreetDual by Pixel Logic.....and I'm hooked 32 stages (tho I'm still on stage 17).
***********
Now on level 32 but can't seem to pass it on StreetDual. Great game!!!

No, they all SUCK!!! J/K, got to ppcgeeks forum, they have alot of links for games including a sh**load of cabs
do a search for Touch Pro Arcade Game Pack... that is the most complete setup of games in one place on this site...
ppcgeeks seems to be more oriented towards gaming than this site and it's focus on developement, so checking there site will like yield the best results.
Any one know an emulator(doesnt matter what system) that lets u play in landscape mode instead portrait? It would make the controls much easier if u can play with ur slide out keyboard.
Hexacto Tennis Addict - I am addicted
Dots - simple and superb
Astraware Boardgames
Scrabble
Tangledbugs, solitare, pacman
Any cool games but is free?? It seems that the nice games is not freeware

Yeah, you have to google emulators. I can tell that PocketNester is the best one ive experienced. Its allows you to play NES games. I know they have an emulator for SNES also but i havent found one I liked(mostly because the SNES had so many buttons its hard to map it in a way that allows u to play comfortably).
Now as far Guitar Hero you have two options.
1) U can buy the game, just google Guitar Hero Mobile.
2) The other option is download a clone game called Bass Guitar Hero. U can download it for free from several sites, http://www.freewareppc.com/games/games.shtml..this being one of them.
Hope that helps.
hey does anyone know a good pocketnester that will work with the htc tilt ive been searching on google and i cant find none, i have morpheuos which works great but i really want nes more can anyone help me please thank you!
can someone point me in the right direction of a good gameboy color emulator for windows mobile? not a gameboy advance one I already have one. I need a GBC emulator. I've found a couple of links to a couple of emulators but the links are dead. I've tried one emulator (can't seem to remember the name of the emulator) but it wasn't working well with my tilt. It wouldn't let me configure the buttons so I couldn't even play the games. so if anyone knows any good GBC emulators and where i can find it, share you knowledge!!
classic helicopter game.. its pretty fun for a free game

can anyone name only the good ones?i think that wm platform is capable of far better games than nfs undercover etc...i tried nfs undercover...it doesn't even have engine sounds for christ sake...i found an online rpg game that was 1gb...very good graphics, sounds and physics but it has no more support from the server so it doesn't work anymore...i think it's called shadow of legend...i just would be pleased to know that there is a good game that it's over 50-100mb or so...if anyone knows any game except cod 2 or quake please post ...
anyone know. i have the emulators, now i need the programs. thanks
Google does wonderful things.

Does someone knows why some games not show up on market like Modern Combat 2 and alot of other games? Some games like Brothers In Arms 2 was only on Applanet and that game is cracked, but what to do when its not excist to pay for?
Those are Gameloft games - they don't put them on the market... you have to go to their website (gameloft.com) and buy them there, then they send you a download link by email. They have some very impressive games - I wish some other developers would catch up!
We see it every day in the console industry. You cant spit in a game stop store without hitting some game that's basically a remake of an older successful game. I could basically type up a huge list of remade games, but I'll settle for saying to look away from the 3DS section.
My question is, where's the love for classic PC games? I would kill to play the real Bauldar's Gate games (not those playstation 2 Diablo wannabes...), or Fallout on my phone, or perhaps some other platform.
I'm not saying that remakes are a bad thing, as if it were a sign of an industry with flagging innovation. Many of these games are great stories, and rightfully ought to be passed on...

Ok then, it was just a question after all
I kinda miss too the gameboy era
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using XDA App
Ah, but you can re-live it with an emulator + roms! At least I think there's been an emulator devoted to it.
I wish there were an equivalent for classic PC games...especially on android.
Maybe I ought to check the same place where Lord Manhattan found his stomach emulator.

Spectrum emulator + six-axis controller + Brian Bloodaxe == PROFIT!!!
With a fair bit of work you can get some of the dosbox emulators to play pc games. I have gotten tes arena working. And have heard of people getting fallout working. And of course all the basic dos games work well

They ported Wolfenstein 3D to the PS3 last year. I LOVE that game. I was too into it though, to the point where I knew where all the hidden rooms were, and had all the secret weapons and treasure.
Ooh, Ooh did someone say ADOM I finished that game once with teleportitis(a curse where you randomly teleport anwhere) ...good times.
My list of oldies but goldies:
Wolfenstein 3D
