Hello to everyone..
I'm trying for 2 days now to change the fonts color on notification bar and it's not working with the colorChange v3.1 I used with older services.jar
I am talking about the services.jar from G.O.T_RTEU_0.36 ROM So if anyone could take the services.jar from G.O.T_RTEU_0.36 and make the above color changes for the fonts, I would be gratefully.. ticker=FFFFFFFF clock=FFFFFFFF date=FFFFFFFF ongoing=FFFFFFFF latest=FFFFFFFF none=FFFFFFFF network=FFFFFFFF clear=FFFF0000.
Thanks for your time...

Hey,
can someone tell me how i get the white notificationbar like in the older versions (froyo, eclair...)
i can´t find any post on the internet about that and an old theme does´nt work work for me...
sorry for my english
IF you are using CM based roms, the option is inbuilt to change your status bar colours.
IF you want to do it in a stock rom, you need to replace the png file "statusbar_background.9.png" in the /res/drawable-hdpi folder in the Systemui.apk app. You will also need to make xml and smali edits to make your text black so that it shows up on the white statusbar.
I have a htc desire running CM7.0.3 with the Sculpted theme (latest version, applied with CM7's Theme Chooser).
I've looked at the folders in the apk file and i can replace the .png files to get a different background for notifications. I also want to change the font colors for the notification. Is there a file in the theme apk that i can edit to change the font colors?
I've read another post about editing the framework-res.apk file from the phone. does that work with CM7's theme chooser themes?
Thanks in advance

Ok so I tried to make the statusbar transparent with UOT kitchen like for all the phones I had before, but this time it won't work!
I did a little search and found that it could be the status_bar.xml file that is responsible of that, blocking the statusbar to a black code color.
So I changed it toward a definite file as mentioned in a topic, my problem is that I am new to apktool
The apk didn't decompile completly so I can't recompile it.
So I am attaching the systemui.apk and xml file I edited, can you check it up and recompile this xml (if good) with the systemui.apk please??

Hi,
i already took a look in other threads and tried everything but i couldnt find a solution.
I want to have a half transparent statusbar on my i9001 with the brood rom. I changed some xmls and pngs in systemui, framework-res, twframework-res and touchwiz but nothing helped.
Could someone help me to find the right files to change?
Thanks
E: I mean the bar at the top not the notification bar.
E2: Used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053019
Changing the png worked but only on the lockscreen. Also edited the xml but nothing changed.

Also doesnt work.
i'm not sure what u're exactly trying to do, but have u tried the online UOT kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ , there are options for status bar transparency etc...
*for rooted users that's using blacknotifs I suggest you edit your own framework-res.apk. (basic knowledge on using apktool is needed) when decompiled just navigate to res/values/color.xml and look for the line that has "notification_title_text" and change its value to a light color like #fffffffff or #ffc8c8c8, recompile and put it back to your system (via flashable zip or inject it to your rom and reinstall rom) that will make almost all notification title text to white and make black notification cards perfect.
I got this from this linkhttps://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/themes/theme-dark-default-t3597615
I have no idea how to do it
