Other than the other languages, what's the point when we have 2.1 already o.o
True but some people like the phone to support their own languages.
Oh I see just wondering how it would be useful. Thanks for clarifying!
correct bidi support?
Does this rom supports BIDI? meaning, if you write in arabic/hebrew (ofcourse when installing the corresponding fonts) and then adding numbers to the line, will the line be aligned to the right, the numbers will appear correctly and not opposite (as it does in today's roms?)
Rami
Full mentioned languages support i.e. no need to add anything to it.
Why not purchase an already localized phone or the international version to begin with? No offense meant. Just curious.
There is no localised version of this phone as of yet. Just of the I9000. And that even wasn't officially released yet.
so if I understood correctly, the bidi support is working ok ?
is it possible to incorporate the corresponding bidi support into bionix's Rom?

Below files if get signed and flashed to Eclair 2.1, can make it support above mentioned languages. This just a support in form of reading text and numbers correct way but with no language keyboard support.
libskia.so (from System/Lib)
libwebcore.so (from System/Lib)
libskiagl.so (from System/Lib)
DroidSansFallback.ttf (from System/Fonts)
Is this the same files from ce4arab.com by XQ55? It seems to be the same thing and it has the same bugs.

It is not always possible I am now in the US so I have to buy phone from here to have 3G support and also warranty on the device but I still need arabic support
This is one of the things I like about the iPhone is that it uses the same rom (including all languages that are supported) no matter where you buy it from.

I'm not sure if this is going to work, I did take these file, zip them, sign zipped file, flash it and then the phone stock on Vibrant logo.
I wish it would work, maybe I have done something wrong.
For some reason it didn't work for me. After restoring is completed and the phone is starting up I only hear the sound and see the Vibrant logo. After 10 minutes of waiting I just took off the battery. Tried the "factory reset" but it haven't changed anything. What should I do?
If the phone does not boot up then flash Vibrant Stock Kernel as mentioned.
Any update about fixing the GPS?

When using stock ROM, my mini can determine my native language. Ex like when typing message, just talk. But after switching to custom, cannot found that features. Tried checked in Input Languages, also not find. Google also not found. Install Keyboard for ICS also no luck. Someone can try to help me.
Tq
That's why it's called custom rom, the cooker of the project add some features, and remove others such as interface and keyboard languages, some crappy built-in apps (those whose seems useless in his point of view).
wherefore there where you downloaded the custom rom, you must first read the changelog before proceeding, to avoid complaining later
So if you can live without those missed features, and coexist with your new life
you will need google apps (aka. gapps) to have market and gmail account.
download them from here:
http://www65.zippyshare.com/view.jsp?locale=fr&key=94227110
then flash them via CWM recovery (mount system before proceeding).

Tq bro. I did it but nothing changes. Tried install ginger keyboard but language still not appearing.
It appears that the "Samsung" device-wipe exploit isn't limited to Samsung devices.
It's a general flaw in the android dialer and ones based on it, including the sense 3.6 dialer.
The test for the exploit DOES WORK on my device, running Android HD Revolution 3.0.1.
No idea if sense 4 based ROMs or AOSP/AOKP ones are vulnerable or not.
I'm using nik project X 4.1 at the moment..jst ran the test page and volah...its vulnerable..will post the test page...u have to visit the website from phone
--------------------------------------
edit: http://dylanreeve.com/phone.php <--- visit the following URL on ur phone..if dialler pops up with ur IMEI code than ur vulnerable if not ur not vulnerable
Our phones are not vulnerable to the samsung phone wipe. The bug, that the phone just calls the ussd code is in all Android-Versions up to 4.0.4. In JB the bug doesn't exist anymore.
The phone wipe USSD is Samsung exclusive, so our phones are not wipeable. You can just run a USSD on our phone.
How to run such a USSD-Code:
make a frame in a html site an give the link tel:[any USSD code].
example:
<iframe width="4" height ="4" src="tel:*%2306%23"></iframe>
The %23 is HTML-Code for #
With this bug, you can also make very expensive calls when you change the *#06# to any expensive number/call center.
It's also possible to run USSD-Codes in the Emergency Call Dialer when your phone is security locked. In JB this bug is also fixed.
EDIT: yay, my 100. post.

Well, I'm finally downloading it...but my only question now is will this work on our Sprint based phones for not only data, but also the partition differences? I'd be pissed to install to have to RUU. lol

sprint data fix

Well, I gave it a go and I still have a phone. In fact, it works wonderfully. Split camera works without any issues. Same goes for voice capturing on camera app. There's no way to update PRL/data profile via settings, but its small potatoes.
Also, seeing that if you're reading this, you're probably on a Sprint HTC One, flash the data fix. Once phone boots, you may also want remove some of the Verizon related apps via Titanium Backup or root explorer. Again, also tiny tubers.
I don't really understand this, some very unorthodox stuff. Sounds interesting enough though.
Basically the ROM uses your kernel, libs and the like on your working ROM and installs everything else around it.
Most trials of getting the EYE experience to work on our phones (via porting) usually has one thing not working, while others do.
This uses the stuff you already have to make it work successfully without breaking anything else.
Any time I try to download something though it just gives me an 11mb apk

Hit the arrow underneath that tab. That website is way more complicated than it needs to be, believe me. lol
You click on the file name, and do that each time until you reach where the yellow button states of a file of 1.3gb. Click the blue d/l arrow underneath that.
If you have Google chrome on Desktop just right click on the webpage and hit translate to English.
Alright. This was fun. To actually have the HTC Eye Experience working was actually a treat. But to not have LTE? Not so much. But this might be on the right track for installation and leaving the drivers to be install the
ROM.
I wish I could try it but it needs a mirror, I attempted to download it and it said 22 hours lol normally I can DL a gig in a few minutes.
Guys is it to do with snapdragon?
Has no one managed to port an M8 Rom over?
Kitkat is sooo old.
Basically it looks like stock Rom or something without sesnse.
Do people still visit this site?

One of the reasons of this device not having anything above Kitkat is that HTC never released an update for this device. They initially assured that we would get Lollipop but they didn't got on doing that stating it won't give "a good experience". And since this device isn't that popular, there is some development going on albeit at a slow pace.
We did manage to get a functioning CM13 port.
The CM13 ROM works fine...HTC thinks that Lollipop wouldn't give an optimal experience, optimal my dash..we running Marshmallow...
Great work @nightcore500
With some minor modification you can get the port of the cm13 rom to look just like the stock sense ui as it provides access to the exclusive HTC play store apps
Here is what I did (do at own risk):
0. Install the cm13 rom with gapps
1. Get a sense based HTC cm13 theme
2. Download the HTC apps you want (namely the HTC sense launcher and HTC service pack)
3. If the launcher is unstable, aka crashes when you try dragging apps to your home screen, then you need to follow the following steps, if not then your done
4. Make sure the file browser your using has root access
5. Locate the HTC apps you've downloaded under data/apps, they'll be named something like com.htc.luancher-1, and copy them over to system/priv-app (you can rename the folders to something like HTCSense)
6. Enjoy a near stock HTC experience with next to no lag what so ever
pls delete the post.
