I am here attaching a version of the HTC IME keyboard that works with Froyo (2.2) on QVGA devices. This will be hugely useful for ROM developers once 2.2 ROMS start becoming widespread. It will not work on 2.1, so it will be of limited use until the CM6 build is ready.

Jacob I m pretty sure that if someone edit the 1.5 version that I'm giving above, it will work. It just need the res files from the original HTC IME.

havent tried this myself but you could use adb to rm the old latinIME from /system/app and then push the droidx keyboard to /system/app to replace it.

Are there any themes out there for 2.2 running HTC Sense? I'm currently using the Aria and I tried installing a theme from clockwork and it froze my phone and had to re-flash my ROM. So is HTC Sense customizable? Can I get a theme where it changes the battery icon and signal status and my notifications. I guess just all of HTC Sense. Thanks in advance.

No.

if your just wanting to tweak your framework-res.apk you should be able to cusomize that however you want here
I dont think you can install a full theme but you can modify things. Just use the link frosteddroid posted. I got an Aria too. I'm using super circle battery with a customized notification bar. I also changed my font and boot animation.
Follow the directions and flash it while in clockwork.
I did everything but when I had to upload my apk, it said "error. Try again". And I couldn't get it to work.

I have a Sprint Sanyo Zio and thought the new update to 2.2 was suppose to support live wallpapers but any live wallpaper from the market doesn't work. Sprint tech's have no idea about this feature.. My phone is rooted and I have even downloaded livewallpaperspickers.apk version 2.1 which still doesn't allow me to run livewallapers, when I try I get (process.acore) has stopped unexpectedly. Has anyone got Live Wallpapers to work and can some one walk me through step by step to enable this feature?
A waste of valuable resources on a Zio imo but menu > wallpaper > live wallpapers works on my Cricket Zio.

The Sprint Version must be different because that doesn't work for me..
Looks like Sprint left live wallpapers out of their 2.2 update and the 2.1 version of lwp you installed is not compatible or missing something. Cricket's 2.2 came with livewallpaperspicker.apk version 2.2.1 and a livewallpapers.apk in the /system/app directory. Try locating a lwp version 2.2

Thanks thats been my mission, I know it doesnt seem like its worth it but I would like to enable this feature. I haven't had much luck finding a 2.2 verison of livewallpaperspicker.apk though, is someone willing to upload this for me?
I could upload the apk for the live wallpapers and you can try to push it to /system/app/ with root explorer and change permissions to rw-r--r-- or 0644 then reboot.
You'll need both of these to make it work.
