in this text (the site web mobileburn) : " the phone auto-rotates to 3 of its 4 sides in a unique way. Instead of using an accelerometer to detect this kind of motion "
take a look on the video from 1:22 onwards... on some other sites, they stated that it uses the camera to rotate..

No, It won't. I tried to play it on my Kaiser, it said camera error. But I can play it with D-pad.
I hope there are any great person who can make our Kaiser use camera to rotate.

It kinda worked... I rotated the device & the snake would switch directions but it wasn't always accurate. And most of the time, I just looked like a fool rotating the device with no change in the snake. I don't know if I was doing it wrong or what. But it is a cool concept.
If I am not wrong, the omnia does have a accelerometer or g-sensor as it's called. Where did u read that it uses the camera?

In the above review, the specs shows accelerometer.
Does someone of you guys know how to put X2 into flash mode? The X1-way (pushing volume-down-button and Power Button at the same time) unfortunately does not work...
you got a x2!? :O
Erm - yes
What are you trying to flash..?
i think he wants to get to bootloader. Try this:
Enter the bootloader mode by holding the reset button down for longer than five seconds, until you see the red LED below the reset button
illuminate (at which point the yellow, programming-mode LED will turn off).

make before trying to flash it you should try backup the rom and then upload it somewhere and post it here for cookers...First help to get helped....
Because this is a very new phone not cookers yet as no base rom to cook with....
Cheeers
I thought the X2 is not yet on the market?
And before you flash, please give us a small review of the phone:
- which ROM you're using (final?)
- how does the ROM work
- performance
- photos quality
so on...
Please.

Thanks, unfortunately this doesn't work, the X2 just resets...
What I want to achieve is that the phone gets into the mode where I can flash it - i.e. the mode in which the X1 shows the stripes on the screen.
@orelsi: How much money is in your pot?
no one knows how to get it to the bootloader screen as no one has the phone yet.
if u do have the phone, post some pics or vids
I'm aware that the phone is not publicly available yet. But that doesn't mean that no one has it yet - my hope was that there is someone of you expert guys who has it already too.
I have definitely other things to do than trolling around in boards, so - I'll keep my before mentioned hopes up.

Hello
I wonder if little integrate the 360 into a FastTest Rom and how to do, I do not speak good English too sorry
France, Toulouse
clay will include it in his rom as soon as he can. His rom uses a different kernel then cyanogen, so he needs to incorporte it into his kernel. Expect it in FastTest 3.1
I am the only person who completely fails to see the point of 360 rotation?

No your right, I see no use in me having my phone up-side down and what not....I am not bashing others but IMO it has no use.
Flip your phone upside down! What MORE fun could it get?

How about z-axis rotation, so I can turn the screen away from me and look in a mirror.. but it's still the right way round!!!!111

Honestly, I don't think it really has a useful point. The only reason I can think of to use it is to show off what my phone can do and why it's better than everybody else's. And so far, it's worked every time.

We are not hating on it, we just think it's not an "necessity" to have on our phones.
I agree that it's useful for some people. I saw a post where one guy said he liked it for sitting his phone on its side when listening to music and not having to worry about the volume controls getting pressed. However, not putting an option for just regular orientation... not one of Cyan's better ideas, lol.

There is a normal orientation setting. Turn off 180 degree orientation in settings.

It still rotates 360 degrees... Usually it only rotates when the volume keys are pointing down. With new mod it rotates with either side pointing up. I just like it how it was stock, other way I usually just accidentally do it and have to wait for it to rotate the other way again.
I realize its a longshot, but any way to do this yet?

personal preference.
The back is more frequently used and easier to access in one handed mode if you swap it to rhs (for right handed people). samsung did it this way so it's more familiar if you're switching from Samsung phone.
One of the great things about android...we don't have to agree which is better, we can customize how we want.

True. I guess I am always holding it in a way that allows me to access the buttons easier. Either that or I have huge hands!
I kind of prefer it this way though!
This is also an upside to software keys!
Could someone please explain this?

He meant hdr+ (a feature in gcam)
yes. but you had to abandon stock rom.
Instead of stock,u can get hal3 support on aosp9.0 (SODP)
And it unsteady.
you will lose 960fps ,4k record,etc.
