Sorry for making a different topic about it completely but I will be going to India tomorrow and I want to fix this before if possible.
the problem is that both dolphin and the stock browser try to save every website I try to visit so I can't open them anymore. I googled and looked around, but I couldn't find any topic that resembled my problem. Did anyone have the same problem or does someone know how to resolve this?
I did install and uninstall several applications before actually trying to visit a website.
I hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance!
bump; anyone? before I leave

What firmware/rom are you using?
There appears to be an issue with the Gallery that comes with JPO/JPA version of froyo for some people. (I'm one of them, and I "discovered" the fix, LOL.)
Anyways, we discussed it in the Doc/Kalpik rom thread in the development section, but the solution is pretty simple:
Use Titanium Backup, or Root Explorer or whatever method you're comfortable with to delete the installed Gallery from your phone. Then go to the market and download the Gallery3d app (author Rayman50). Problem solved. If you have trouble finding that in the Market, there's a ClockWork ROM manager flashable version posted by DocRambone in the 2nd or 3rd post of his thread.
You could probably also just pull the Gallery3d.apk out of any firmware where this isn't a problem and push it to the phone.

It seems that the link to the Task29.zip sometimes works sometimes doesn't.
I also got it to work after few tries (but I got it working after I post that the link is a dud, so maybe somebody already fixed it)
Anyway, I'll help by attaching it here.
ps: if anybody objects me attaching it, just tell me and I'll delete my post.
Dear gakuku.
A very happy new year to you, thanks alot for helping us out and also posting up the zip for us.
thanks again.
not dev related, therefore moved to q&a
I don't know anything about phones so please bear with me.
I just had to wipe my phone and put a new rom on it. But the market app isn't there and I can't find where to download the app on the forums here. I tried doing searches for it and still can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
What rom are you using??? And you might want to do a search for something called Google apps or gapps or gapps/midi. Usually were ever you found your rom it will be a link somewere on that thread for the google add on. Which give you the google market, gmal, car home and a few others depending on which one you decided to use. Once you aquire the zip file just boot into recovery and flash them. Good luck.
Yea its me again with the
Modified Hero--
I'm using purple glass on my phone. I guess it's a froyo rom.
I checked the thread and there was a link for the gapps. Thank you for telling me that. I would never of thought of looking there.
No problem. If you need anything else let me know, and if I can help I will. Good luck.
