This actually works. The only thing is there will be an error message pop up if I send a sms through it.

Hi guys! Sorry to raise this thread, but looks like it's the most relevant one.
Overall Jeyo looks a good program. But I have already chosen ver. 2010 too.. I've read that some people just assume that Jeyo is not working with v. 2010.
I have just tried Jeyo Mobile Extender (JME) 2.5 build 1280 on Win7 32bit/64bit, combined with Outlook 2007/2010 (both 32 bit only), and I have found that there are some nasty errors showing up with Outlook 2010. They do not show up with Outlook 2007. Jeyo site shows that Outlook 2007 is supported. 2010 is not mentioned, but all my previous JME tests half a year ago with ver. 2010 were successfull (until I started adding email accounts a few days ago!).
I have tried it with Outlook 2010 (also tried sending SMS from desktop) again these days, seems like it's working at first glance, just those weird error messages and Outlook crashes sometimes (on disabling add-in / disconnecting phone / closing Outlook).
One interesting thing I have found, that if there are no email accounts in Outlook 2010, then there are no crashes / error messages! Can you winmo dev people look in a little, please?
Maybe these error messages can be safely ignored? Maybe some workaround would be good, e.g. always leave add-in disabled when disconnected, then when you need it, do these in this (or some better?) sequence:
Launch Outlook
Enable Jeyo add-in
Connect the phone
Manage your SMS'es etc.
Disconnect the phone
Disable Jeyo add-in
(close Outlook if not needed) (but I think I saw Outlook crashing on this step)
I have read and tried things in this thread too: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-pro-2/102303-anyone-running-jeyo-office-2010-beta-2.html , but the errors still show up with "Outlook 2010 + email account present".
I wrote an email letter to Jeyo support, but I haven't received their reply before, so I'm not having too much hope to receive it this time. However, here are the details I have wrote to them, this might be helpful to you. At the end is the error log of the error that shows up when starting Outlook with Jeyo add-in enabled with one dummy email account (just enter whatever info when creating account, and don't test the connection; you can better even disconnect from internet while testing if you want).
Here goes the message.
Subject: EAccessViolation exception when an email account is present in Outlook - Jeyo Mobile Extender (Windows Mobile) - Access violation at address 0CD5F7A3 in module 'JME.dll'. Read of address 00000000
Body:
Please help me.
I have purchased a license for Jeyo Mobile Extender (Windows Mobile), installed it and it worked OK. And now when I tried to add my first email account (it's POP3 account from gmail) to my Outlook, I see that JME.dll throws an error when I start Outlook and/or try enable/disable JME add-in.
As soon as I remove an email account, there are no errors shown.
As soon as I add it back - errors are showing again. It doesn't matter what account settings I enter or whether I test the connection to mail server, and it doesn't matter if I add this account to a different PST file, or to the same default Outlook.PST. I have tried it with Outlook Hotmail connector installed (I don't use hotmail though) and without it, it's still with errors.
With email account present, if I disable JME add-in (in Outlook), relaunch Outlook, and then reenable JME add-in, then it connects to my phone SMS folders, but the stability looks yet suspicious because after closing Outlook errors show up again, errors show up after I relaunch Outlook again.
Looks like some configuration (maybe accounts configuration?) is misread/miswritten when initializing JME add-in?
At the bottom of this email message is an error log from an error thrown when starting Outlook. After clicking OK, I don't see JME add-in loaded in Outlook (but I can still disable and then reenable it).
I need to use Outlook for email and with JME too.
It's on Windows 7 64 bit, JME version 2.5 build 1280.
I have just tried reinstalling JME for WinMo (I mean reinstalling the JME windows (desktop) application). It didn't help, the same problem.
Also I have just tried a similar setup with just a clean Win7 install (32 bit Windows this time). The same problem after I add the email account, and it disappears right after I remove the email account.
MS Office and Outlook is 32 bit in all instances that I've tried.
How can this be fixed or at least worked-around, please?

Edit1: I noticed that by default Outlook 2007 adds email accounts to default Outlook.pst file, while 2010 by default adds them to a separate pst file. I have tried changing pst files in both 2007 and 2010 (i.e. use 2007 account with nondefault pst file and use 2010 account with Outlook.pst), but it didn't change anything regarding errors.
Edit2: Adding a dummy IMAP account to Outlook 2010 didn't introduce errors. (I haven't tried connecting the phone, but Outlook is opening/closing normally without errors with Jeyo add-in enabled).
Afterwards I have changed account details to some real gmail IMAP account. Then I closed Outlook. All looked OK. But when I launched Outlook again, similar nasty EAccessViolation error has appeared (and then I saw real email messages downloaded to my Outlook IMAP folders); so this might be relevant.
Any and all ideas would be helpful!..
Thanks!

Hello,
has anybody already succeeded to sync his Kaiser with Lotus Notes? If so, how (I think I have successfully run the application unlock and switched the device to a One-Tier Security), but EasySync keeps claiming that the device is not connected or ActiveSync is not running ... neither is correct. Thanks.
I'm using Nokia Intellisync handheld addition v6 to sync with Lotus Notes.
The only problem I have is that I sometimes have to soft reset the kaiser so it can re-connect.
Dave, thanks for the hint ... I may have to resort to that if I can't get Lotus Easysync to work. Did you have to do any type of Application Unlocking ... or id Intellisync just work? J
I use EasySync Pro V4.24 and have not had any problem with it sync'ing with my Tilt. Didn't have to do anything other than load the app on the phone. worked right out of the box.
Hmm, no, that doesn't solve it. Just installed Lotus Easysync Pro 4.2.4 and the error is the same ... 'Unable to connect to device. Verify that ActiveSync is running'.
This is how I did it:
1. Install MS Outlook 2003 (maybe 2002 will work)
2. Install Lotus Notes connector (free download from MS).
3. Connect them up and sync the 2 apps.
4. Run Outlook and sync the PPC with Outlook not Lotus.
You can always just keep Outlook running in the background all the time if you are one of those unfortunate people who doesn't think Lotus Notes is marginally worse then gouging out your eyeballs with rusty nails
Cheers,
Joe
[EDIT]You will need to upgrade to the latest version of EasySync which in compatible with WM6 - I think this is 4.2.5 or 4.2.6.
If you don't want to pay IBM approx. 50ukp for the privilege or can't get your employer to buy the license, try Googling "PDASync" which comes in a 'free' evaluation version or I paid about 30ukp for the full version.
This works fine for me!
I've been syncing Lotus Notes 8 with my kaiser using Easysync Pro 4.2.5. No issues so far.

It works straight out of the packet, and it's very easy to set up.
Ok, I downloaded a Trial version of PDASync 4.1 ... and it works right out of the box. I would still be interested to figure out why Lotus Easysync 4.2.5 is not working. Would be greatful for any additional clues. J
Just curious- have you disabled your software firewall? Had many PDA's hang on that.
I use Mnotes from commontime it works well
I just use a program called Mnotes -> http://www.commontime.com
Easysynch Pro does not work here either - something to do with mishandled Notes permissions I believe - Noyes 8 client here.
But I've cracked it here with XTND Connect - very well behaved both with my old Treo and new HTC Ty TN 11

did you enter the notes id file password in the easysync settings?
Thanks - but yes
Possibly not helped by my Notes install being a bit odd - multiple address books for example
try the visto solution...
go to preview.wirelessinbox.com
1) sign up an account
2) download the desktop assistant
3) you can sync your kaiser with lotus email, contacts and calendar over the air (aka push email with PIM functions)
i am using exchange plus a couple of other internet email accounts with this.
hotmail, gmail and yahoo mail is supported directly on the visto application on the kaiser.
Only ONE Thing is important
If you install Lotus Easysync and it installs itselves to the PDA, you're prompte if you want to install it into the Memory or onto the Card.
NEVER INSTALL IT ON THE CARD.
Otherwise you have to hard reset your PDA and re-install everything. I tried every other hack and fix and application and more and this is how it worked. Just installed it after a hard reset of the PDA and installing everything else, into the memory and it run.
No Prob using MS AS 4.5 + IBM ES PRO
Hello All,
Greetings from sunny Greece.
Downloaded Microsoft ActiveSync from MS website, installed IBM EasySync Pro v4.2.6 (on TyTn II --> device, NOT SD).
Works like a charm with Lotus Notes 7.0 (did not try 8.0 though).
Just had to provide my Lotus Notes Password.
Unable to connect to device. Verify ActiveSync is running.

I try with the Easysync Pro 4.2.6 and Lotus Notes 6.5, but keep receiving the above message. I try whatever has describe here http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docvie...730&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en&rss=ct465lotus
But it still doesn't help. Can someone help me, I'm getting desperate.
OK, this just started for me. Yesterday, after entering a couple of appointments into my Tilt, I was able to sync to a MS Exchange Server wirelessly everything EXCEPT those 2 appointments. Mail/contacts work fine. Just not new appointments. However, I can enter them directly into Outlook 2003 and they sync back to the Tilt. No new appointment, re-occurring or not, with or without notes/reminders/attachments syncs. they are reflected on the Tilt, just won't sync. When connected via USB, I get the no help "Support Code 1" error.
My ROM/Radio/Hard SPL info is in my signature. Win XP (I don't know what service pack the server is, but no changes that have occured that coincide), Active Sync is 4.5.0. Death V.4 does have Thumbcal installed by default which, in an effort to resolve, switched to the standard calendar program. I also (in no particular order):
1. ran scanpst.exe on PC
2. ran detect and repair in Outlook
3. did Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\ole32.dll
4. deleted and reconfigured relationship in Activesync
5. changed the durations of the past appointments AND
6. searched to no end XDA and the net for a solution.
Any assistance would be appreciated. TIA!!
-Sign into OWA check if all is ok.
-On your desktop, do the same in outlook
-Create a test appointment with notes on OWA and see if it sync with your desktop calendar.
*If it sync you're good and you may have to contact your exchange host to see if there's been any changes in your exchange setup settings for your device.
*If the sync fails, create a new outlook profile on your desktop. It's a possibilty you profile is corrupt. Any part of outlook can be corrupt and not effect outlook as a whole. In your case, your calendar isn't functioning properly.
-Also...if you had your exchange account for a while, check the personal folder file size. It can hold up to 1.96 gb but at around 1.75, 1.8 gb ... outlook may do some weird things. If this is the case, you need to start archiving.
Hope this helps.
My background on topic:
I used to do tech support for Honeywell where 80% were exchange email related. Most of the users used Blackberrys and a handfull of windows mobile users. I provided telephone & remote support with Landesk & Remote Desktop.
Thanks! I will check in the morning. After posting this I noticed that one of my PST was well into 2 gigs. I am in the process of moving stuff around and hopefully can get it to be a more reasonable size. Lots of rules to adjust. . . .

OK, no luck. Entered an appointment with note in OWA, which synced fine with desktop. Adjusted pst size down to 1 gig, deleted and created a new profile in Outlook. Hard reset Tilt, contacted IT at work and no changes to Exchange Server. IT said contact ATT to see if it is something on their end, but I don't see how that could be.
This is a disaster for me.
I really need to have this working.
edit: One more interesting facet: if I just sync the calendars via USB (i.e. deselect MS Exchange and select "this PC"), syncing occurs. This is entirely related to the wireless component of syncing the calendar. Weird . . .
edit 2: well, flahed Duttys Hybrid, and all was good. Reflashed Death V4 and problem returned. Switched over to L26 KaiserDiamond V9 and problem resolved. NO FRIGGIN IDEA WHY. Thanks DWNY for the help, though. I suspect that my Exchange Server has something against Shogunmark.

Glad I could help ... somewhat.
What ever you do, do not upgrade to IE8 especially if you update your calendar with OWA. The new appointment will show up in your calendar but if you've created notes .... the won't sync to your phone.
Other browsers will show OWA in basic mode with only text entries, no HTML support.
Just a tid bit to share .....
ROMeOS 3.1 has worked great for me.
I'm a heavy Outlook user myself. These days I run my own IT Sub-Contracting company and do all my scheduling via OWA.

Anybody? would love some help!
Not sure if anyone is still having this issue, but the fix for Calendar items created on device not syncing up to Exchange (but sync no problem from Exchange to device), do the following:
1. Go to Start/Settings/Clock & Alarm
2. Change your Time Zone to another zone, and OK.
3. Go into ActiveSync on device, and sync with exchange
4. Go back to Clock & Alarm and change your time zone back to appropriate time zone
5. sync with ActiveSync again.
Problem should be resolved. Has worked for me many of times.
Thanks!
I'm assuming that the features listed below are not dictated by Exchange, I'm assuming it's down to the OS on the phone.
Basically I don't have the following highlighted features on my Exchange email account on the phone.
This was taken from a "Windows Mobile Email Tips" email on the phone after I flashed the ROM on the phone in February. I do have the 1st and 3rd of the listed features but not the other two....
The ROM version I'm using is a standard HTC ROM,
ver:- 1.93.405.1 WWE
ROM Date:- 08/06/08
" Tips for Outlook with Exchange: If you synchronize your Outlook E-mail account with a Microsoft Exchange server, try these additional features:
Find any contact in your company directory: Click Menu, click Add Recipient, and then click Company Directory. To save a search result as one of your Outlook contacts, click Menu, and then click Save to contacts.
[*]Find and download any e-mail message: To find and download messages from your Outlook E-mail account, click Menu, click Tools, and then click Search Server.
Choose the e-mail folders you want to synchronize: Go to Menu and click Folders, then click Menu and click Manage Folders. Then select the folder that you want to synchronize, and click Sync.
[*]Set an Out of Office message with your device: Enter an out of office message and turn it on or off. Click Menu, click Tools, and then click Out of Office. "
Any ideas why I don't have these features?
Luckily enough I work for my companies IT department so I can have a dig around on our Exchange 2003 Server.

I poked around in my 2003 Exchange Server and couldn't find anything.
Hi, i just update my Xperia X1 with the new R3A update, and all seems to be fine, until i try to configure mi Hotmail account in the e-mail services.
It seems to find the configuration for the Hotmail account, but when i finish the configuration process, the Opera Mini gets open and reddirects me to the mobile Windows Live site.
Does anyone had this same issue?
Thanks a lot!

I've always had trouble with inputting settings for the email service for Hotmail, but windows live usually does the trick for me. Have you tried the windows live app that comes with the phone?
Hi Sfkn2!
I usually use the e-mail app for all my e-mail accounts, POP3, Gmail and Hotmail. Just today it starts not working.
Maybe it's a Windows strategy for us beginning using more the Windows Live App.
I notice a few minutes ago that Opera is the predeterminated browser now.
Weird....
No idea what happened but I am experiencing the same problem. I would rather do the send/receive thing then open up opera to view my hotmail. any fixes for this?
Didn't had the problem. But you can try windows live to configure you're hotmail.

hi.
So where do I go exactly to configure this? I can't find it when I re-directed to mobiles.live.com via Opera.
I just want it so I can download my hotmail messages directly to the phone via clicking on send/receive. There must be a fix for this.
Download and USE Windows Live Panel!

My question is why is this only happening on the r3 rom when it didn't happen on the rom1 or rom2 ?
Just config it manually.
First, create an account with some unknown email address such as [email protected] (we will change back later) then edit account settings and use these parameters.
Incoming mail server : pop3.live.com
User name: Your FULL email address ex. [email protected]
Outgoing (SMTP) mail server : smtp.live.com
Check those 2 boxes. (require authentication & same username)
Click Advance server settings. Check another 2 boxes.
Done.
thx kanthai, this method worked for me perfectly..
Thanks man!
updating windows live does the trick, the R3A rom does not include the latest build
how do you update windows live??
also would the push email work with these setting as ive never managed to get that working?

I can't seem to send emails now with the above settings. I can however still download emails to my phone. It was working fine a few months ago.
I get the error "The message(s) could not be sent. Check that you have network courage and that your account information is correct. Then try sending again"
Any ideas why?
Solution found
Guys, I have found a solution after almost one week frustrating, I got same issue as suddenly my hotmail account disappeared. When ever I tried to add account in email wizard, it was redirecting to opera with mail.live.com. I spent so many hours on XDA and many other forums but was unable to fix this. Right now just 5 minutes ago, by playing here and there, I found a solution, I have successfully added my hotmail account and it working 100% perfect. Not sure if it was a particular fix only.. but I will highly recommend to who ever have had this issue, try these steps.....
Go to Start menu, programs....
Click on Windows Live.... ( note, its "Windows Live" icon, no email or live messenger etc....
Now you are on windows live desktop, windows search box is at top of page.
Click on right bottom corner, "menu" and choose "Account Option"
Choose first option..... "Clear Password" .. done?
Choose second option, "Switch Windows Live ID"
Wait for a while and wizard will bring you to windows "Sign in" page....
Just close this page and you are done....
Go back to your "Email Wizard" and add new account as hotmail....
You will able to add hotmail account without any problem.
This is what worked for me after one week almost trying every thing. I am on X1i using Touch IT Leo 11. Please leave comments if it work for you. Good luck to all.
