I have rooted and used a cyan Tom but now am back to stick recovery and stock 2.2. I seem to see more times where I have no bars indicated.
What is the best radio to use?
Thanks in advance.

Probably a placebo, read the nexus one wiki at the top of the page for a link to the most up to date radio.

I was hoping if someone could tell me why every time I try to use my nexus one's camcorder it always reboot my phone and had been doing it sent I upgraded to Froyo 2.2 91Efe. Has anyone else been having this issue? If it help I'm currently using cyanogen 6.0 Rom.

Because you didn't upgrade to the froyo radio which has been covered a million times.

You search, and you read. This has been answered a hundred times.
I did that already genius, I'm sorry if I'm asking a question that had been answered a hundred times but I'm just trying to get some help with my problem. So if you could at least point me in the right direction I'll be happy to handel the rest of the work

topic. is there a newer, more updated version of the hero radio version 2.42.01.04.27? i thought i saw somewhere 2.42.02.04.27.
thank you thank you
You know what is funny. There has been 115 views and no reply. Flipz usually has the radios before anyone else knows. Here are the latest--http://geekfor.me/category/hero/radios/
I know. thought I saw an 02.47 somewhere...
The last two sets of numbers in the radio number is the date. So .04.27 is from april 27. So from that you can see which ones are newer. Hope this helps.

New radios typically come from ruu's, whether test or final. And since sprint is done supporting the hero, don't expect anymore radios I would say (verizon is done with the eris as well)

I've never really been into htc except for the g1, and I just got a nexus one that was already rooted running cm7 nightlies, I was under the impression that with htc you had to have s-off to root but mine is s-on. Does the nexus one have to have s-off like an evo 3d or sensation sorry if it's a dumb question I came from samsung

Nexus is a dev phone with a unlockable bootloader out of the box.
S off is not need and you can't achieve it. Very fiew nexus ones actually do have s off though.
Read the wiki and learn just about all you need/want to know.
Thanks will do
Sent from my somehow brand new even though I just bought it yesterday nexus one
I'm about to buy a Nexus One for me. Right now i have a Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500).
What wiki do you talk about?
Is it easy to install CM7?
Wiki is on this very forum. It is a sticky.
Perhaps the link at the very top labeled "WIKI"
Good lord.
Or in the sticky thread named "Nexus One Wiki".
Or in my signature.

This would depend on you technical know-how. If you rooted your phone you should be able to handle installing a custom rom.
Is there different radios that can be flashed besides the initial one in the GSM hack thread?
I'm using that one and getting good results with it,just wondering if there is any improved version.
no one?
Ther is a newer one ,but don't know if any better, just newer one,it is futer down in the thread

Thanks. I looked for it in the unlocked thread but could not find it.
U just rooted my device and installed a custom Rom. My lye signal now only shows one bar as opposed to 4 bars when I was stick. Can some one please share bell's radio baseband? I searched through the forums and cannot fund it anywhere. Also how do you put the apn settings msnually

Did u find the stock bell radio? I really cant find it atm
Signal bars mean nothing. Stock roms tend to have their signal bars inflated to look like it has great signal. Check the actual signal db before you start complaining please

@EnIXmA - did you manage to improve your LTE signal on Bell in Mississauga. I am in a similar situation and have tried the stock firmware/radio as well as the very latest one. but i cant get a signal better than -107 dBm (1 bar) at my location.
