it always freaks me out and it's so loud (i guess it's set with the alarm volume?), any method to disable the notification or just the sound will be really appreciated.
Download audio manager and turn down the system volume. That should do it I think.

I was wondering if anyone had noticed certain apps not respecting the volume set for notifications.
Under settings, Sound settings, Volume, I have my Ringtone volume at maximum, my Alarm volume at maximum, my Media volume at 0, my Notification volume at 50% and "Use incoming call volume for notifications" unchecked.
Most notifications respect the volume level set for Notifications, but some, Facebook and Chrome-to-Phone, do not. They seem to use the Ringtone volume level to play their notifications, which tend to scare me out of my seat when they go off. Anyone else notice this problem?
I'm on Froyo FRF91.
Thanks
Dunno about Facebook (I have that silent) by Chrome2Phone blares out at twice the volume anyone thought possible.
Yes, the same happens to me. I also have my ringtone volume at maximum and my notification volume much lower. It's very irritating.
Here is an issue about it in the projects issue-tracker. Please star it.

Starred. Glad to know that it wasn't just a problem on my phone and that I wasn't missing something obvious.
I hate that it's popping up when it hits the 15% mark and that the sound is loud when I am listening to music.
It is also very annoying. Is there anyway to disable it or at least disable the sound?
+1
would like to find that sound and delete it
Hello,
i've searched but found nothing to this topic.
My question: is it possible to disable the notification when the phone is loaded up to 100%?
In German: "Akku voll geladen, Ladegerät entfernen".
Thanx!
Hi,
I think I found solution for that. I use from yesterday Timeriffic and I mute system and notification volume during the night with him. You can make your rules for ringer, ringer volume, media volume, system volume, wifi, airplane mode, apndroid, vibrate, notification volume, alarm volume, voice call vol, brightness and bluetooth for each day and hour

Hi!
My 3T is brand new and works fine, but I do not find a way to reduce the volume of push notifications. E.G. the game "Springfield" has own audio samples for notifications.
Those are played always at 100% - I did reduce all available volume bars to the lowest level, still 100% on notification.
I did disable all notifications from springfiled except LED light, still aduio 100% volume. Really annoying.
Anyone knows where to reduce that volume?
thank you

Hello everyone,
I have the following issues with the sound on my Redmi Note 4X .
1. When my phone is on "Sound" and I turn it to "Silent" and then I go back to "Sound" it's actually still on "Silent" because when I go to the Sound settings i can see that the volume is on 0 and i need to move the bar manually and that's every time when I go from Sound to Silent and back to Sound it doesn't remember my volume and it stays on 0 and i need to raise the volume manually every time when i move from Silent to Sound.
2. Another issue is when i turn off the Multimedia Sound I am still able to hear WhatsApp/Facebook etc. notification sounds which is not normal when the Multimedia Sounds are turned off.
3. When talking on speaker, the speaker sound is very weak.
Any suggestions on these guys? Thank you in advance!
No one?
Hi, I have the same issue as #1, but no idea what to do with it. Anyone have anything?
