Pretty damn slick theme, is this possible? lol if not just give me the weather/clock widget (minus the Google search bar).
Looks slick as hell, but to get it, you'd probably need a completely new system. I.e., you can't do that with Sense UI. Maybe some clever coder could modify Rosie.apk to make it look sorta like that one, but the weather/clock and events would both have to be built ground up, most likely. That'd be better anyway, they wouldn't depend on the sense framework
This is the part where you offer $x to whoever can make this/parts of this a reality. Haha
you could do the bottom bar with a different launcher like launcher pro (i could probably make it) and the top bar with metamorph
but the widgets i have no idea
It's easy to modify the Rosie.apk for the launcher. Same with the Notification bar. Widgets will be EASY! This should be fun and come out looking great.

I mostly finished a AOSP theme for Swype (I'm only missing the portrait editing keyboard -- just lazy right now) but I just can't seem to find a way to use it. If anyone can give me a pointer on how to create a workable APK for personal use or any other way of applying this theme, it'd be appreciated.
BTW, I tried metamorph and swypechager to no success.

I'd like to get a test version in use to squeeze out any bugs (I just noticed that I'm missing the cap lock indicator in one of the portrait keyboards - I'm sure there's other things I missed.) I themed the popups as well, so mainly I'm not sure how they line up or look. So thanks for any help!

Did you ever finish this theme? I would love to use it.
LauncherPro allows you to use custom icons for the dock.
The default ones are okay:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But the default Froyo icons look so much cleaner, less chunky, etc:
Anyone have separate icons I could use? Tinted like they are in the picture?
The froyo looks like adw launcher...gives you different options than launcher pro.. I personally go back and forth between the two.
Is ADW still missing the 3D launcher? I don't really use too many of the extra features of either launcher. Never understood needing multiple docks and all that when we can go up to 7 homescreens. I have mine set up pretty much just like stock Froyo, with Leap enabled.
Hi,
Been setting up my new homescreen layout the last few days. The only thing im missing is a clock!
I have a 4x1 space left on my main screen, but was looking for a Honeycomb style clock to use similar to the one below.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
However, i dont want the weather there.. as i only have a 4x1 space. Are there any decent honeycomb clocks out there?
I tried google, but i could only find the clock shown in this screenshot:
As you can see.. the numbers arent quite as nice as the ones on the previous screen (i assume thats the beautiful widgets skin)
Can anyone help me out
Many Thanks
Calico
Fancy Widgets Pro has a good Honeycomb skin and it allows you to have just the clock without the weather.
You can use a transparent background
I was just wondering if we could have a split notification panel when in landscape on the tab like the htc flyer

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I think this can be done by modifying the SystemUI.apk or something but i don't know what to modify exactly
and if possible to get a flyer like launcher that would be great too
i really wish some could help me but without flashing a custom rom or anything i like the stock rom
I doubt without custom rom you managed to do such changes. You can try some other launcher and UI Sense theme, it makes you closer to HTC
my main point is the split notification area,
so far i got to make the buttons smaller and the brightness bar smaller too (by editing the SystemUI.apk) but still when in landscape mode there isn't much space for notifications and i mainly use my tab in landscape
Hi
I was woundering if I can get a transparent Google seach widget for CM9? I googled and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307730 but it doesen't work for me. Anyone know how I can get a transparent widget?
Why not enable the one that comes with ICS/CM9 by default? If you ask me, its much more clean and sleek than the clunky widget too

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I use ADW EX sense it runs much more smooth on my SGS and I don't want the search bar on the top row I want it on the 2:nd row from the bottom.
Ah, well in that case, I'm not so sure
Found some in market https://market.android.com/details?id=tiwiz.widget.icsbar&feature=search_result
