The newer version based on date is 2.2.5 but the older one is 2.2.9. Im confused
Older one as you can see shares code with FB 012 and newer with FB 021b so its newer and better. And BTW floyo used to be great ROM (still is) but now we have custom kernels and fully workable CM7 (Gingerbread) ROMs. If you really want froyo then I sugesst you to use FroyoBread.

so the last update is the latest though 2.2.5?
and the reason why I like froyo because of the benchmarking wherein 2d/3d games are higher on froyo. froyobread is buggy thats why ill be trying floyo
Quote from froyobreads changelog:
[*]Android version changed to 2.2.9. FroyoBread isn't 2.2.1 anymore. We almost have a Gingerbread by now.

So its bassically Android 2.2.1 but DX changed it to 2.2.9 (almost 2.3) becasue that ROM had all gingerbread features.

[Q] Camera file

I have CM 7.2 - RC5.1
Is it possible to extract Camera.apk file from emanoN rom, pack it as required and install it on CM7.2 - RC5.1 ROM?
The reason is emanon is based on ver 2.3.6 and the camera video recording/playback voice is absolutely fine, where it is not in CM - RC5.1
Would this work?
Any help on this would really help many more who has problem with sound.
That's not possible up to now.
Try using MiUI Camera. Or LGCamera, records video at 480px

camera quality Gingerbread vs ICS

i have a great camera quality on JVU. latest ICS rom that I've used is onecosmic RC3. and it's going greener or bluer when I try to take picture on low light environment/night. is it fixed in new ICS rom? onecosmic or teamhacksung?
thanks in advance..sorry for my bad english
Hey! I use myui v4 based on cm9 and i find the camera on par with the one of the JVU, less options (af mode ISO ecc.) at the moment but not so important

[Q] Porting AndiCPmod 2.1 on CM7

Is possible to make a port of AndiCPmod 2.1 on CM7?
No need, there's a good modded camera for cm7:

Thanks. This Camera is perfect except for the zoom that doesn't work. So we can use this mod.

ICS Camera fix ?

hey guys
i thought that we are using CM10 and 10.1 but no one is using CM9 since official ICS released to our OB so i was thinking that what if we tried to replace camera lib's and Bin's and files releated to the camera from official ICS to CM9 will camera work in CM9 ?
i dont like CM10 and CM10.1 and unofficial CM10.2 because of the battery drain and video FPS so i thought that if we can use the official ICS camera libs and binary's on CM9 will it work
(Sorry if there are any mistakes, English is not my native language)
Best regards
