I just bought a used HTC Magic from Rogers and I bought the T-mobile white housing to replace it with. I was wondering if the T-mobile htc magic housing would fit the Rogers HTC Magic. I ordered the housing off of ebay and have not yet received it, hence why I'm asking.

I believe that the middle section of the housing of the T-Mo myTouch is slightly thicker then that of Magic Housing. (that and the 3.5mm headphone jack on the 2 new models)
Because of this, you are unable to use the mid section of the replacement Magic housings on the myTouch, (you can squeeze it in there, but you'll lose vibration) but not to sure how it would work out the other way around.
Might I ask, Why didn't you buy one of the many white Magic replacement housings?
The rarest housings to find are the black T-Mo housings. All of the other housings can be found all over ebay. The Magic in specific can be found all over the place in quite a few colors infact.

I'm looking at replaceing the housing on my sprint touchdroid (touch running android). On ebay there are really cheap housings for a 3450 and other that are over twice as much for the 6900/3452. So which one will work, either one? Are there dimensional differences, or just internal differences?
i made the mistake of getting the gsm one. sent it back to korea and got back the cdma version. make sure you get the right one. your phone will look like new and the quality of these housing cases are top notch
Does anyone know if the housing will fit? Because on eBay I can't find any OEM HTC Rogers Dream housing. I noticed that the buttons on the G1 and Dream after different. G1 has separate buttons where the Dream has a bar-like buttons.
I'm buying a used Rogers Dream and the housing is totally beat up, so I want to replace it after making the purchase. If anyone's had experience changing the housing let me know please.
Ok has anyone managed to find these out there on the interwebz? I see a lot of postings on ebay, but they look like they won't fit the MyTouch. I ordered one for an HTC Magic.... I forgot that they have different mobos sadly, and it doesn't fit the mytouch, some holes and slots are on opposing sides. All the ones that I've looked at seem to be the same as well.

I've always wanted to get the silver buttons for the ion version. Would the buttons from the magic housings on ebay fit in the mytouch?
My son decided to color his and I am going to sell it. I need to replace these.

Tho the Black housing with the grey/silver midsection I must say are more difficult to find.
Contact the seller before purchasing. Make sure it is the correct housing for what you need. 3.5mm headphone jack or not. It's not shown in picture and I've no idea what myTouch model you have. Only the red and fender edition seem to have the myTouch logo on the back cover tho..........
There are many mor listings but I only noticed this particular seller at a quick glance selling a black housing with the grey/silver midsection rather then the red midsection.

Luckily, I've 2 Magics and not myTouchs, so it's far easier to find housings. I've 2 of every available color.
I like to match.
I don't use no fancy cases. I like my phones bare. Just use the hTC sleeve.

I've seen digitizers and back covers, I'm trying to find the middle silver frame atm.
I cracked my camera lense cover on the battery cover (long story). Any one know where to find a replacement? or do I just buy the entire back cover?
