[Boot Animation/MetaMorph] mbiza pissing android ;)

This boot screen animation is part of my old theme
Use it with MetaMorph -> (more info here) and here
Download piss.zip
Tested with MetaMorph 1.7 and CyanogenMod 4.2.8.1 but it shoud work with all cupcake and donut, let me know!!
I don't want to offend nobody, it is clear

I don't think you can use .gif files

what rom is this intended for?? if it's gif it can only be used in hero roms; eclair doesn't support animated .gifs.

No problems installing, works great
I'm using WGBuild 9.2

doesnt work with Black Ice for 4.2.8.1
i morph it and restart and it sticks with the blackice boot
so only works with stock cyanogen ?

HILARIOUS!!!

Installed with MetaMorph
It installed just fine with MetaMorph 1.7, cyanogen 4.2.8.1 (My G1).
This morning, tried to install this on a friend's G1, cyanogen 4.2.4, and the new version of MetaMorph was downloaded, v1.8.1.
During installation getting error "Control file missing or cannot be found"
Anyone know what this is about? We re-downloaded the Metamorphed .zip file, but it's still the same...

I've just updated MetaMorph to version 1.8.1, deleted piss.zip and piss folder from the AndroidThemes directory and applied it again, and everything went ok...
Are you sure Metamorph is correctly installed in your friend's phone?

with cyanogen vers. 4.2.11.1 dont go. i instaled this with metamorph 1.8.1 but if i restart only the cyanogen bootscreen is show...
please let me know with a pm if you had a solution. thanks a lot for your work.

I've the same versione of cyanogen and MetaMorph too and it works as always. Sure MetaMorph and busybox are correctly installed?

works it with dwang?... or is possible to port it?

busybox....i dont know...but i installed exactly how i installed the first time with 4.2.8.1

Try to re-morph it, if doesn't work i will see the config file if something wrong

Gingerbread AOSP

I've built the Gingerbread AOSP release for Vogue and a system image is here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/androidhtc/files/system-gingerbread-29-12-10_22.tgz/download
It's not perfect yet and as you know I don't have a connected vogue any more but it should be good as a base for other roms and for testing.
The camera now works and the dialler and other activities should fit better.
This is now european languages only to make the image smaller and is android version 2.3.1 grh78

Be patient, also for other builds they have to Push it to:
/data/local/ or to /system/media/ (find a file name bootanimation.zip and replace)

Hey Ricky, I just flashed with your boot, its awesome mate.
Only thing its too choppy, I guess its cause the 1st part of the boot is slow then speeds up for the rest, whereas this is a lot longer than usual boots & my phone boots too fast

I've got no idea to be honest. As far as I can tell the speed seems to be slow right through from start to finish consistently, and choppy. I wouldn't really know what to change.

Everything is working. Thanks to everyone who liked this!

For some reason it doesn't work on my WiFi Xoom, the screen just goes pitch black after the Motorola boot logo until I'm fully booted.
I looked at the PNGs within the .zip and it looks like a really nice boot animation, it just doesn't work on my Xoom for some reason. I've tried other custom boot animations and they've worked fine.

probably because it is .rar and not .zip?

It is also not working for me, unrared the zip then pushed to /data/local and it is a black screen when i boot up, wifi xoom

Probably not considering I extracted the rar, and moved the bootanimation.zip to /system/media. Not my first rodeo buddy.

For the newer folks that may be unsure how to install - download the bootanimation.zip and use Root Explorer (or equivalent) to move or copy/paste to /data/local.
After downloading, be sure that the file is labeled bootanimation.zip with no numerical characters or hyphens just before the .zip as it may not work. You can rename the file within Root Explorer by locating it and long press to select "Rename" and change back to bootanimation.zip.

It doesn't go into that directory on the Xoom. Try pushing it to /data/local.
