No one has been able to so far. I PMed the guy who posted them in a screenshot but I haven't gotten a response and he hasn't been back to that forum in a while. I'd really like to find them and the set they came from since they'd look awesome on my Droid. Also, any idea on the wallpaper?
Okay, new plan. Since no one has any idea where these came from, is there a good image based search site or resource for droid icons?
iconspedia.com
iconfinder.net
There aren't too many specifically for android but there are a large variety of icons
I run Iconfinder.com and see at lot of icons - I haven't seen these before so they could be from an unreleased icon set.
Or custom icons (which will not be released)
easiest way would be to ask the screenshot taker

I've searched and googled and found that the animation on our flipclock has been disabled in an update. Surely one of the geniuses at this site can figure out how to reanimate it? I don't mind the lag on my homescreen, and I'd love to have a flip clock that actually, uh, flips!
Also, are there any widgets that act as a simple scrollable dock? Like a 1x4 transparent box that you can add shortcuts to and scroll through them, like BetterHome? I don't much care for BetterHome's lack of widgets, so I bounce back and forth between HTC Sense and PandaHome. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks a ton.
i would love to c that
Trust me iv'e have a poll up on MoDaCo and even raised it in numerous posts on here, no one seems bothered about it. I'm confident someone here could get the animation working, but i don't think they want too :/
if you guys could be bothered to search you might have found one of the at least four threads about the flip clock animation. and i think the outcome is pretty clear: if you want flip clock go back to an old rom that still had it.
i don't think it is that easy to port apps (esp. those from htc, that are not part of the AOSP) to a newer rom version. i am sure if it was someone would have done it, as there were lots of requests for this.
and if it is that easy, why don't you do it yourself?

Thanks for pointing that out but alot of Devs on here have achieved a lot so we assumed it could be done.
Questions about themes I have seen all over this forum. I have looked for a couple days in other forums as well and I can't seem to find what I am looking for. I want to apply the Expresso bottom bar and lock screen to the aria running the liberated rom 0012. I know there are a couple themes around for CM6 so I thought I would ask if someone can point me in the right direction. I have been trying to use MM as so many others, to no avail. So my request is can someone create a mod similar to this one I found in the Desire forum accept for HVGA. This one changed the bottom bar, lock screen to Expresso, and the clock to a cool black color. I think this would be perfect for that "Last final touch." Here is the link... Two last questions is there a clock thread in zip format and if someone takes on this request can it also be in .zip format?

Slightly different, but similar design.

As far as porting goes, I don't think anyone has taken it on so far. Generally the best thing to do is try to find mdpi themes you like and then modify the framework-res yourself.
Community,
I am sorry to make my first post a request. I was browsing through this forum the other day and came across an amazing theme/rom (cant remember which). I didn't know a whole lot about how to do what so I went to investigate what I needed to do to get my phone to look that cool. Now that I know what to do, I cant find the post that had the theme/rom. Here is what I know.
-It was in the past day or so that I found the post and I am pretty sure it must have been in one of the first pages of the captivate forums.
-It might not have been the main theme in the post, and instead been a link posted at the start (crediting the inspiration of the theme)
-There were pictures of screen shots in the post
-Its look was very metallic, almost rusty
-There was a circle segment going across one of the screens, I think it was the dock on the main screen
-very simple, dark and apocalyptic
If anyone has any clue which theme/rom this might have been, I would be forever in their debt. I would also appreciate any advice on how to search better for this...I have been at it for hours.
Thank you so much,
Dezdemona

Thanks for the reply. I do like that one, but it isnt the one I was referring to. The one I was looking at had a brownish red type feel to it.

Who knew? My browser history actually came in handy. This is the one I was looking for, if anyone is interested.

Different animations when swiping home screen?
Does anyone know what them or launcher uses the option to change how you swipe through your homescreens?
Also, when i was running COG 3.04 i had a scrollable bottom dock bar..can't seem to figure out how to get it. Couldnt find it in the options menu's.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The reason you had a scrollable dock in cog 3.04, was because it came packed with launcher pro (I think..). Launcher pro has the option to have multiple docks. It also has different transition options between homescreens.
Another that does the aforementioned is adw.
Hope this helps!

So you are running a HTC Droid Eris theme on your phone?
That's a nice theme, I'm likeing the keyboard/keypad interface. Has a very fresh/clean look to it, I wonder if I could use it somehow..
My recent go round designing new docks and icons for LP made me realize I was just going off sizes other people were doing, and I had no clue the actual dimensions LP used for both icons and dock sizes. This made it harder to come up with interesting new concept docks/icons.
So i made a small little set of images to get a clear cut look at how LP handles these little enhancements we make. My result is attached down below.
Now this is nice for my phone, but I know (having made quite a few wallpapers for various android devices) there is not just one screen size. Now I don't know if LP uses a fixed size, or if its relative based on screen size.
I sent a message to Federico, and hope he will enlighten me a bit further, but until then I was hoping some of you would download the attached zip, and set the wallpaper, dock bg, and icons to your home screen. Take a screenshot and upload it here! This will give me an idea of how it works and what difference, if any, screen size makes on dimensions.
Unless someone out there has the needed info, then this long post was pointless
TL;DR - Download the zip, set the wall, icon, & dock; screenshot; report back, if you would good sir/madam

I was curious about this myself - glad you took the initiative! This is from the HTC EVO 4G:

Awesome! Thanks for the quick work.
As expected (our phones have same resolution) they match up perfectly. Now we need to get someone with an odd resolution to give it a shot. I can do it on an Aria tonight (mine but my sister uses it).
Keep 'em coming!!
HTC Droid Incredible
I've made quiet a few docks for both dinc, og droid, and droid x and all have worked with a 480x84 demension as far as icons i've heard told that the 74x74 works the best (according to other members on the launcherpro.com forums)

Ahh so the plot thickens. The Icons are down to 60x60, but the dock is the same size. Interesting indeed. I kinda wish LP was open source just so I could figure this out
Thanks for the help

And those are the sizes I started working with. But already we have found that on two devices the icons display at 62x62 and the dock at 480x85 and on one the dock displays correctly at 480x84 but the icons drop down to 60x60.
I'm no java developer, but I know enough to guess its either a set size, or a relative based on certain dimensions. I also hope to talk with Fede about maybe increasing the icon size a bit. I got some interesting designs in mind but would require a bit more flexibility.
And as I said, this is just an experiment to see how in the real world LP works on our devices.
I was wondering if anyone or why has NO one ever did anything with the PLAIN BLAND STOCK Icons at the bottom of every ROM that is available here and other places.
Meaning the Phone, messaging, app button, contacts, camera icons. Or maybe I missed something somewhere because i am useing ViperOne 5.7.0 and it still has the same OLD BLAND ICONS.
Is anyone or is there some where I can get replacement Icons that would at least look good with any theme.
No matter what Theme you do or install in you phone you still have the same OLD BLAND ICONS there.
This is just a thought . I dont mean harm or malace to anyone so do not take it in wrong context

Since you are on ViperOne there is a whole thread dedicated to theming the ViperOne ROM. three clicks you are there.
Here is a good thread for custom icons http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518899
As you look through the thread you'll see other members that also make icons
