Hi guys
While I was using my phone this morning my phone's temperature showed 54 degree Celsius..i checked it out by pressing "*#0228#". Is this normal? Or should I should I talk to samsung to replace it?

Normal, our temp reading is from the cpu, most other phones read from the battery

Thanks mate..And.. While my phone was on charge..i used about 5 mins.. Battery level dropped from 58% to 56% Instead of charging..i thought it was related to the over heat.. Now you said its normal.. It may be from some other problem then..

Hey, ive just installed remICS -ux which came with a app called midnight control which has a option to undervolt I was wondering which would be the best setting to put this on?

10 10 50 75 100 ... for me it's stable and the battery life is very good
but every device is different so if you got problems return your settings and don't tick "apply at boot" if you didn't test your settings
Thanks

I am using cm9 now. I wonder where can I set the CPU speed? Do I need to install some app?
In addition, what is moderate speed to begin with.

You'll have to download an app from the play store. There are free ones and paid. I use No Frills CPU, though there are several other good ones. Set CPU is a paid app, though you can get it free, being an XDA member. A search here in the forum will turn it up.
I set my CPU speed to 1.5 max max, and 354 min. Set the minimum to at least 354, that will eliminate the SOD (sleep of death) problem that sometimes effects our tablets.
Enjoy!
Thanks.

I downloaded system tuner and noticed the stock governor is ondemand. I switched to interactive. I was wondering if anyone else had done the same. If so, can anyone report on a drastic change in battery life.

I have tried it using rom toolbox. Works good but to me it drains battery faster.

I've noticed a significant drain myself as well. Nonetheless, I'm at 8 hours on battery, and I'm still over 50%. The battery life on this phone is amazing!
