[Q] STOCK ROOTED 2.2 nandroid backup anyone? - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can someone upload a untouced stock rotted n1 nandroid backup?
Thanx in advance.

I think in this case you just flash stock ROM which easiest way is thru ROM manager. It has stock ROM readily available.

I agree with Roger..

[Q] Create you own custom rom from the stock rom without rooting.

I was looking a lot over the internet how to do that but all I can find is about rooted phones. This is the issue. I do not want to root my phone. I just want to remove some system apps that take up my space. Is there any way I can remove them from the RUU, than reflash somehow my phone with my own rom?
No questions in dev.. Guides have alreay been made..

Marcon10 : thank you for you reply.
the video is clear to install Darky's Ressurection.
It remains one topic that i would like to understand.
I didnt see anything in this video that tell us how to backup my original ROM.
In case my phone would be out of work and I would need to restore the original ROM to be able to exchange the phone with another one with my mobile operator.
This is why i asked which CF-Root to use ; or may be i'm wrong and have to use a Rom Manager instead ?
Finally i really dont see from which side I have to start
the Final goal is to backup the original ROM before installing Darky's

Hi,
thanks for the link but i found nothing about BUJP8 or BUJP5 on the 32 pages of this thread :/
Is it the only way to proceed (downloading the "original" rom from somewhere else) ?
No chance to backup my actual Rom before migrated to Darky's ?
So I have to conclude that :
1) i cant backup my actual original rom
2) i cant find this original rom somewhere else
too bad :/
There are roms on here u can flash back to. There backed up on xda. Follow video tut on darkys resurrection. Make sure u can do 3 button combo

Make sure your device is rooted first. If not, go here and follow the guide for which ever firmware you have: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1300843 You can flash cwm with odin or heimdall (plenty of xda tutorials on odin)
Does the modem number need to be the same as the one.that i have currently?

[Q]Is there a site I can download the latest stock ROM

If for some reason I wanted to return to a stock ROM on my device, is there a site where I can download the latest stock ROM.
For example. I currently have a Nandroid backup of my HTC One's 4.2.2 Sense 5.0 ROM. While this is the latest stock at the moment, if per say when the finally get 4.3, is there a site or perhaps a thread on the forums where people post stock ROMs for their carrier/device.
I have looked about Google but haven't really managed to find much. Or at least resources which looks trustworthy/updated often.
Thanks and sorry for the noob question

[Q] Downgrade form kitkat to gingerbread

Hi, I need to downgrade from kitkat to gingerbread in order to make Barclays pingit work. I tried many things but the damn app to my disgust won't work on rooted phones. Is it just a matter of using ODIN? And which gingerbread ROM should I use? Can you please send me some links thanks!

Download the stock firmware for your device and flash it with Odin. Then I suggest you to install CM 7.2.0.
