1.6 is the most stable, however I have been able to get 1.70pre2 working on several 2.1 Sense-based roms. Might want to give that one a try, as the WEP encryption doesn't work on the 1.6 version.

I have a rooted Sprint Hero with 2.1 (2.27.651.6) native firmware, and have WT 2.02. Today at work, I tethered a co-workers iPad with my Hero and it tethered very easily, and I was very impressed with the speed the iPad was getting from my tethered Sprint Hero's EVDO signal. Very impressive. I just might have to get me one of those iPad thingys now since Android tabs are still phantomware.

I use the newest in market just fine on 2.2

Google Voice and MyTouch 1.2 force.quit?

Anyone else gettin force.close on GoogleVoice? I have tried with the Factory ROM, rooted and reflashed the MyTouch Fender ROM and it fails.
I have installed stokes eclair port and it works fine; so is it just a 1.6, 2.1 thing?
Exact same thing happens on my rooted Fender. The older version worked well.
Yes all versions of Google Voice above 3.0 don't work with Android 1.5 or 1.6 because they have Eclair frameworks and api's built into it.

Chrome to Phone for Fascniate

Is anyone having any luck find and actually installing any version of Chrome-to-Phone. I have tried version 1.7, 2.0, and 2.1.0 and have had zero luck.
If you do have it mind loading the APK? I know this was designed for froyo but I had 1.7 working on my old 2.1 droid.
Thanks in advance.

You need Froyo, as far as I know. You can try Fennec that has the link sync option.
I use an app called linkpush. It uses Google talk to receive links sent from an addon to most of the major browsers. Its pretty much just like chrome to phone.

Netflix

I just picked up the new Netflix app from the Evo 4G forum and have it running great on my HTC HD2 running Android. Also loaded onto G-Tab running VeganTab Ginger 7.0.0 but when I try to run it there it gives me a unsupported device message.
Anyone get this up and running yet on the G-Tab?
No, it is not a supported device and this should not be in the development section.

Did not work on mine, I'm using Vegan 7.0, It seems only works with CM7
Running cm7 71 nightly, modifed my build.prop to read as the g2 (modify 2 lines, product and manufacturer I think) and netflix works great. No issues streaming. Dunno if vegan ginger is gunna have the video drivers needed to run it since its based off cm7.0 stable. I think you need nightly 57 or higher for video to play smoothly in gingerbread.
I could be wrong though.
When I get home I can try to post up instructions. If you look in the cyanogen forums for gtablet the instructions are there.
Edit: seems several people do have it wrking on cm 7.0.3 also.
