The apps, you are referring to should work on froyo, just use google nav over sprint nav (better anyway), fancy widget for weather and time, and google voice(or the standard sprint vvm) along with cm6 rc1, and you'll be all set

i tried it with everything and i cant get it to work for nothing so yea

hopefully we can get a froyo port with sense and the goodies soon.

Won't happen till the legend gets its froyo upgrade. The nxfinite45 is all over it

You can also sign up for free Youmail and that is much better than Sprint Voicemail and it is free

[Q] Can Anyone Port Samsung Galaxy S Notification Bar..?

Hey I own a Nexus One.. I love my phone.. Last the Samsung Galaxy S came out its also nice phone and all but I prefer my Nexus.. One thing the Galaxy S got my attention was the Notification bar. I like how Samsung took the empty space on the bar and used it in a clever way by add the Wifi, Bluetooth controls there. I was wondering if there was a way to port the notification bar or add the wifi, bluetooth controls embedded in the Notification bar...
That would be awesome!
Wouldn't a port of Galaxy S be better?
I would also really like to see this happen!! Actually.. why hasn't it already? I will look into it, but I am still no programmer
agreee!!! i'm happy if we get bluetooth and wifi, then I can remove the widgets and have a clean wallpaper
You can get Galaxy S interface with the Galaxy S theme for CM6 and also Enomther (some other guy ported it from CM6 to Enomther)

This does nothing for the notification bar that they are looking for.
Bump! The notification bar widgets are really awesome on the Galaxy S, it has widgets for music, and calls...
CM6.1.0 RC1
The newly released CM6.1.0 RC1 has some of the requested features.
The MIUI roms have a ton of switches in the bar. There's a screenshot here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801833

Great questions, but no one here will know the answer. I'd recommend writing a letter to HTC or giving them a call to find out.
Or better yet an .apk

Friendstream works with the Legend roms. Look for those and you should be good

Can someone port the Honeycomb lockscreen to the HD2 CM7 ROMs?

I came across this http://www.androidng.com/install-android-honeycomb-lockscreen and I want it.
I've had a look at the files in the zip and I have no clue what would be involved.
Can someone port this over
EDIT: is it just a retheme of the rotary lockscreen? That's disappointing. Still want it ported though
Being worked on as we speak. I'll post a link when the guy gets done with it. Should be less than 3 hrs

Awesome
Is it just a drag down bar or does it emulate the unlocker properly?
You can choose slide to unlock, rotary, and slide straight up like iphone. This is for charansingh's rc1 build.

HTC Battery widget

I had the HTC Battery widget on my phone but had to reset and reinstall ICS. It seems you can't get to the HTC widgets from HTC Hub on ICS like I could on Gingerbread. Does anyone know how I can get that widget back?
Couldn't bring it back, but I installed elixir2 widgets and have it there.

Unlike some others. I don't redirect your question and offer you something you didn't ask for. I give you what you ask for or don't comment. Here it is - works fine on my Vivid with ICS aside from animations not working and the background of the details screen slightly off. I'll get around to fixing that.

Beside screenshots you didn't say how you bring it back from widgets? I'm interested too to have it.

So how do you get it? I had it before when I upgraded OTA to ICS but lost it when I had to reset the phone and do a clean install of ICS. My wife's phone is still on gingerbread and I can get it on her phone, if I knew where and what to look for I could try moving it over to mine.
It hapened the same with my Desire S. I would like to restore the HTC battery widget, I liked it in GB and I want to keep it in ICS.
Can anyone help?
Battery widget from the play store looks exactly like the screen shots and its free if that helps.

Just like gotzaDroid said you can get the exact widget from the play store.I use it and it works great and looks just like the old stock one.

Yeah, I would like to know where to get one too. In the taskbar, there's a percentage in the actual battery.
I belive the ICS update also replaced Sense 3.0 with v3.6, which doesn't have the clock widget. You can try Battery Guru on Google Play.
