!!can somebody create mobsters!!!!

HEy im not trying to compare the iPhone to the G1, but I was looking at my Aunts iPhone and she has a Mobsters and Racing app. Can someone PLEASE make that for the G1. If you havent seen it, go get someones iPhone and try it. Its very similar to te myspace version. I just really want to play it. If i knew how to create it I would. Thanks to who ever can do it or has already.

i second that!!!! I need mafia wars!!!! Asap!!! The downloadable version... Cause the version we have for the g1 is a weblink.... Go check the iphone's setup for mafia wars... And make it happen... With a widget thats linked to the app to keep me posted on whats going on..... Oh and have them all connected so when i have signal i can add other g1 users to my mafia.... oh god... here you go.... smh.... you must be one of those people thats making another app ... thats the same as four other apps that was created.... 60 of the same apps on here.... everyone has a file manager... everyone has a note pad.....just asking for something that people actually wanna see on the maket besides.. 100 ahome themes....

Actually I have little knowledge in java. But if you want something so bad, go get a book on android's sdk and get to some reading.

you are the very embodyment of what is wrong with the internet.
If you want it that much, get studying already. Learn the OOP basics, learn java (it's really not that hard) and start practicing just like everyone else by...for example....making a notepad or filemanager.

The G1 is really... really... really boring.
I mean less be on is. How manyof you are still amazed by your G1 as you used to be? It's like milk, that expires today... it's still good for 5 days but your like ehh... what the hey... ya knew?
That's how I feel with my G1! It's nice and all but I know theres better... So do you guys suggest anything to make me love my phone again... maybe more then I love myself? Is yours rooted? I find tethering is something I use a lot, and a love the fact my G1 has access to 3g all the time (atleast in my area). Hooking it up with my laptop has made my day to day tasks much easier what with school and work and whatnot. Also if it's rooted you get some other cool stuff, if I find playing with my phone isn't giving me as many thrills as it used to I switch themes every now and then..
Youtube is always fun to mess around with, when I'm bored ill watch videos n' junk. Browse the market to see if any new/cool apps or games have come out..
The only thing I would wish to improve with this device is the browser. It's not quit up there with the iPhone in my opinion.. but the OS is still pretty kickass in general.
Im just now messing around with the SDK.. just did the hello world tutorial not too long ago and messing around with the 2.0 emulation (which when released or cooked it's gonna rock) Maybe if you're bored with it, download the SDK, take some time to learn it and develop something (Easier said than done).. but why not increase your knowledge while exploring the device, friend?

Ughhh man. Tethering is suchh old news I been ROOTed! I hate the Mobile YouTube eww bro. I've done the App Market thing... gets boring. The Browser is okay. Hmm, send me the links for Developing and SDK's pwease bff? And friends don't judge friends by their Posts and how new they are. I mean, my Reading/Language Arts/Social Studies teacher says we should all work on increasing our knowledge because our brain is something we don't want to waste... really nice lady!
I'm thinking of getting into development but like in a way my brain is tired so so much I dont know how I'm going to store all of this information. Can you provide me some links for how to make Themes, ROMs, etc...? And Kusotare, where is your smilie because I can't seem to find it friend! =/

Ok now I have Android SDK downloaded and it's doing something. Please please PLEASE somebody send me some links so I know how to develope ROMs and Themes. I know it'll be a little hard but I am willing to put in a lot of hard work to work on ROMs like Rachel UI and Eclair so that I can get things people want a lot. I honetly want an Eclair ROM more then anything right now. I have a friend whos dad works for MOTOROLA, he's going to pass me a MotoCliq tomorrow and a MotoDroid probably Monday or Tuesday next week. I can't wait for those two, I'm going to try to help developing for that and I'll still hook you guys up with some G1 ROMs and all. Anyway, please somebody be a good friend as I know all of you are and provide me some links, my E-Mail is [email protected] so you can send then there, thanks! =)

2.1 HELP

With the release of the 2.1 with camera and the new kernel. I've found myself checking this forum every chance I get. It has become so addicting that I can't even think of anything else. Almost once every hour, I get on my laptop pop open my browser and goto xda-developers.com (even in my sleep!). "Did they fix facebook sync?! or maybe video recording!" I ponder in my head as the page loads, secretly crossing my fingers. "Alas not yet, no worries I'll check again in another hour (or maybe 45 minutes)" Making sure I have the LATEST has become more important than meals. My friends don't recognize me anymore, not one shares in my excitement when I say LIVE WALLPAPERS! I don't know what to do. Someone please help.

HA! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. My girlfriend isn't fanatical but she thoroughly enjoys the fruits of my obsession(s). She loves fresh 1.1 and the performance improvements of the gumbo kernel.

I remember when I 1st came here , i started looking for games and apps. I found a whole bunch of freeware I liked. On my own time I started learning how to program games on my own. I work normal job and didnt have alot of time to learn how to code. When I made games for myself , I decided to upload them here to share. Most of the games I made where short 1-3 levels, thats all the time I had. Of course you have people who dont like the game and say its sucks. After a while you get tired of it , and respond like ok it sucks so why dont you make a better one.
Then its like people start following you around and fXXXX with you. Then I go to another website and they follow me there to start more shXt. Honestly its like alot of people are sick in the head. If you dont like the games I make,why follow me around and download more of my games and so ohh it sucks. Its like if you dont like what I do, why keep searching my name.
What I hate the most is if I respond , then more people jump in and say Iam wrong. Now I'll admit when I go off , i go off the deep end. Iam wondering is it just windows mobile users or is it like that everywhere.

Hello, Zarpy.
I'm brand new as a member here, although I've derived a lot of information at this site.
I belong to many forums, as you do to, I gather. Some are well moderated, often with aggressive staffers who are dedicated to keeping the types of behaviors you mention out of the threads. Those are the forums I prefer.. they are not perfect; we'll still see a bit of it before it's caught by a mod, and we'll also see language such as you're using, which I find crass and immature.
If complaints to the administrators of a forum cluster such as this one do no good at all, I'd rethink my participation there, especially if being stalked and harassed by users as you say you are.

Ok i won't, nd yeah im in UK, however i go on this site quite a lot coz i have an HTC HD2 and am always looking for good custom roms xda rules

Actually can i just say that i spend most of my time outside:
I am Top in year for badminton, captain of 1st XI Hockey Team and 1st XI of Cricket Team and have around 5 matches every week so im not nerdy and i only get back home at around 8pm - 9pm everyday so yeah i pretty much stay outside the house

Its actually extremely tiring when you play against county champions, nd my main sport is hockey followed by cricket then badminton
