Outlook email incorrect password

My Kaiser just recently started popping up an invalid password window every time outlook tries to check my GMAIL account. The password is definitely correct, but every 15 minutes and invalid password window pops up when it tries to check my POP3 account. Any ideas why this would have started happening?

You should check and reenter the password.

Any other ideas, its not the password. I've reentered it several times, and it works fine every time I log onto my Gmail on my computer. Also I never changed the password and it's saved in Outlook on the phone.

I use gmail imap and occasionally it prompts 4 password on outgoing or incoming. I usually then manage to receive but not anymore to send. if I set up again the imap in a new account everything works again. itdoes this every few days/weeks no big deal but annoying when I have urgency to send mail....
any way to have advanced debugging logs on kaisers outlook ?

i have the same problem with one of my Yahoo accounts. i have 2 of them but it only prompts me for the password on one of them - and not all the time either. It seems to be random. annoying as hell.

I already checked out the other suggested thread but I have other questions so I thought I might start another thread...
I've lost the password, as said in the title, because I'd changed countries once and had to change my phone.
Now I'm back and have absolutly no idea as to what my password was........
But I'd always failed to synch my phone's contacts with outlook
so if I hard reset I will lose all my contacts, the messages and the photos.
1. Is there a way to hack my way through the password?
2. Or, is there a way to back up the contacts without having to hard reset?
If there is no other way, then..
3. I am absolutely sure I'd put in a password hint to help me remember, and I'd seen the hint appear the second last time I tried typing the password,
but this time I just can't seem to find the hints. How can I find it?

of which kind of password are you talking about?
Posibilities to Backup Contacts, Calendar,....
1. You can setup a exchange server for a gmail account, so you can sync your data with your google account, or microsoft exchange server
2. You can install MyPhone and synch witch your live account.

Oops I didn't specify the type of password.. my bad. sorry.
It's the password to the X1 that appears when I start up the phone!
Since I lost the password, there's nothing I can do right now,
no syncs, no nothing... and the contacts and such in it are really important to me.
Do the solutions you suggested still work if the password I lost is the one that unlocks the phone during the start up of the xperia X1?

do you mean the password of the sim card?
or the password you can activate in winmo for security reasons?
But i think you cannot find out the password.
if it is the sim password maybe my solutions could work. when you imported the contacts to phone.

HELP my phone is locked

My phone is locked. now it requires my email and password but i entered the correct email and password but it keep saying wrong username or password.

Install screen lock bypass free android app. However its not recover your lost password, pattern, pin. It only skip lock-screen, but you can assess anything on your phone, including settings. If you uninstall the app its again start lock screen.

[Q] How do I turn my Microsoft Account into an Outlook.com Account?

I tried changing the server of my Microsoft account on my phone to www.outlook.com. I thought that would work, but now I can't sign into my Microsoft account on my phone. Says password is incorrect when I'm using the same account on my desktop as I type this!

Server Adress is m.outlook.com, but I've the same problem and no solution.
I think, it would work to hardreset the device and start with new outlook settings for our MS Account............
I don't hardreset my device, just to figure it out.........
But why changing ??? For better push performance, it's enough to change your live/hotmail account to outlook online with a browser, just login with your live/hotmail id at outlook.com
The live/hotmail id works fine after that, so not necessary to change server..........

If you change your actual mail-address from something else to [email protected] the Microsoft Account on the device will be wrong even though it's the same account with different credentials and the server is the same. When you change your Microsoft-Accounts E-Mail address you will have to change it to that address on the phone and this is only possible by doing a hard reset.

Do you mean your Outlook.com alias for another email account or is it a (relatively) new Outlook.com account?

I think Dadstar didn't change the email address, you can keep it and you have to use it to login at outlook.com anyway. After login you can create an alias email [email protected], but have to keep the old one (MS Account) for login and email traffic for that address. The email Address will not be transferred into [email protected] !!!
I didn't change my email and same problem, when using m.outlook.com as server address. With browser everthing works fine, using same login data, with WP8 it don't work.
Solution for that issue might be right: Hardreset the Phone !!!
If a new outlook.com account is created, it's not necessary to hardreset, just add account on phone in email settings !!!

The reason why I asked is because I wrote a tutorial on how to use your outlook.com alias on WP8 without the hard reset over on MobilityDigest. I know we were told that we couldn't do it, but I figured it out. Check the link.

WTF? Contacts not pushing updates to exchange server

WTF - updated the phone number for one of my contacts in the People app.
On my phone it shows the correct new phone number.
This change does not sync to the server.
WTF? How do I fix this?
PS: I do NOT use google contacts nor do I have a gmail email account on this device.

i'm having the same exact problem. so annoying. any ideas?
is there a way to turn on a exchange log on motox?
