Trillian has been the least user friendly app I have downloaded from amazon to date.
I put in the wrong screen name and it won't allow me to change it. There doesn't seem to be an option to delete it either.
It just keeps on asking me for for the password. Since it wasn't entered right, I have no password for it. It just gets stuck in the loop. I can't even delete it
I'd appreciate it if anyone has any tips on how to delete accounts.
Long press on the account, it should give you the option to edit/delete.
Guys, if I accidentally drawn the pattern wrongly 15 times, then it will request for the google account email and password. When I type it CORRECTLY (I recheck a lot of time), it says invalid username and password. What should I do?

Suppose if Gmail username & password correct its should ask redo pattern. I think performing factory reset will clear the password but all your setting will clear.
Hi All, Please if anyone else has problems adding an email account using the MS Exchange option in the stock Email app can you share a solution. I get prompted to add an Administrator access before the app searches for the server and it then always fails. The admin never shows up in settings security. I tried this for 3 Exchange servers, same issue.
Thanks...

I had the same problem, found it is due to it doesn`t prompt to set password. Go to setting and set the phone password before setup exchange account, then it will Work.

May be I have the same problem. If I want to setup an exchange account in Stock-Mail-App, there should be a dialog, in which I have to accept the creation of a "device admin" (i´m german, I hope thats the correct translation). But this dialog never appears anymore. At first time, the dialog was there and I could create my account. But later on, there is no entry visible in "Device Admins" for Stock-Mail and after a Restore of a Nandroid-Backup, I couldn´t create the exchange Account anymore, cause the dialog doesn´t appear.
So, may be ur solution could help me. But what do u mean with "phone password", where to set. Did u mean lock screen password or what else? Please give advice, where to set "phone password". Thanks in advance!
Yes, I mean the lock screen password.
On Samsung S2, after aceept the security setting of the Exchange server, it prompt to set the lock screen password, but doesn't seems to be happen on LG, so I go and set it manually and it works.

Besides, swipe or pattern may not work, need to be pin or password.

Hi, i lost the lock pattern cant remember it, is there some way to remove the pass without losing the information on the phone?
Try this:
tricksage. com/ 2013/05/forgot-pattern-lock-on-android-easy-way. html
XDA doesn't allow me to post links, so here's a copy/paste:
Easy way to unlock Forgot Pattern lock on android device
Draw the pattern 5 times in any way.
After five times you will got a message "You have incorrectly drawn your unlock pattern 5 times. Please try again in 30 Seconds".
After 30 seconds, you can see another option named "Forgot pattern"
While pressing forgot pattern you can see a window asking your email address and password with which you registered your android device.
Give the email address and password there.
Now you can see the option to reset your pattern lock.

This only works if you have your google account configured on the phone.

Just reset it to factory defaults using recovery.
Hello,
I'm trying to sell my S5 and of course I will need to disable reactivation lock in order to completely wipe the device and the Samsung account, but the checkbox in settings simply will not uncheck. I click the checkbox, enter my correct passcode, it accepts the passcode, and the checkbox is still checked when I return to the security screen.
Stock everything, unrooted, untampered. I have full access to the Samsung account that's associated with the device, the correct account name and password. I've tried removing the account entirely, multiple factory restores, reflashing with Odin, etc... I just can't disassociate my account and this device. It's proving to be a huge pain because it's useless to anyone but me without this working out. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for reading.
Thought I seem in SS in wipe section that it takes encryption stuff off the device.

Just Reset the device give it to the new owner when it asks for your samsung account login for him have him setup the device and delete your samsung account when its dont have him add his own Samsung account andturn on Reactvation Lock.
Try to reset for good measure and see if it will accept his info and not yours.
