finally found it after a few hours of searching +316540951000
However when I get in my phone settings and try to update or refresh my smsc # I get Refresh Error or Update Error. CDMA phone... help?
You need to be entering SMSC number in Octal-Hexadecimal format with special leading numbers, to tell android which format is that.
Basically go to (damn xda do not allow me to post links, as I am new user). DO search in google on "Online PDU Encoder and Decoder" - go to first link.
At the bottom, there is a converter for sms message to pdu format. Do the following, remove everything, except you smsc number (with plus sign) convert to pdu. Copy first 16 numbers from pdu. And enter them in your android SMSC update field. Click update - enjoy. It should be working.
Thanked
I should have thanked you years ago. I do remember getting that phone working 100%.

Installed and working on Kaiser WM6 !
Manual install process :
1. Unpack the attached ZIP file with subfolders.
2. Copy all the files to the appropriate folders on your PDA.
3. Change the registry according to the attached registry.txt (change 2 keys and create 4 new)
4. Completely turn off your PDA (to renew the registry). Reset button does not work.
5. Switch the device on.
6. In order to enter the PIN code do: Start -> Settings -> Phone -> Enter your PIN
Now you have an Avaya One-X as a dialer.
Do not forget to fill settings.ini with your own settings.
Enjoy !

What is it? A phone dialer??? I've never heard of it before. Any screenshot?
Can you provide any screenshots???
It looks like a VOIP client
http://www1.avaya.com/campaign/demo/one-x/index.html
could you please provide more info on Avaya one-x? what are the benefits of running this?
thanks!
I believe you need an Avaya VoIP system to get the one x client to work. I know they had a version for thier IP Office system but I don't think they ever updated it to run on WM6
Guys,
This is an application for WM which replaces the standard phone dialer and in addition to regular WM phone functionality it allows:
1. Manage your desktop office phone directly from your mobile
2. Make all operations like call forwarding, EC500 management, etc directly from your mobile.
It requires to have an Avaya VOIP PBX installed at your office.
Without it, it does not make sense at all.
Hi
We have an Avaya VOIP PBX installed at our office..
Could please tell us to connect HTC Touch Cruise wm6!
We have tried everyway we could, and read every document available on avaya support page, with no luck.
thank you in advance.

Look on Avaya's website and see if thy have the client available to dowload. Last time I checked it was for WM 2003.
I am not able to get my SPC /MSL from my new Sprint Diamond that I have been able to unlock, and flash Juicy 2.2 onto it. Since then I have performed a hard reset and gone back to the factory ROM.
I have tried the following:
1. Performed the instructions for getspc from
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36639
(Note I did use the PHex Esn and I did use caps on all hex numbers)
2. I was able to install QPST on a on WinXP box and get it to see the phone. I did this to verify that I had the correct hex esn. QPST did read the esn from the phone and display the same hex esn that I had in step 1.
3. I tried the general codes 000000, 123456,111111 and the last 6 digits of the phone number programmed in the phone 000-000-2743.
I am entering the number (6 digits) that getspc.exe tells me in the enter unlock code box that comes up after I enter ##778# and hit edit. It looks like it is working on something then tells me the code is wrong.
What is the way that I can get the SPC / MSL without calling?
The only answer I found
I hate to ask and answer my own questions but if anyone else runs into this problem I want them to have an answer.
I could not get getspc.exe to work in any way.
I found this registry hack somewhere so I am not taking credit for it but it works!!!!
Change the following registry entries in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\ATDbgLog
Enable: 1
LogMode: 1
* Wait a reasonable amount of time and soft-reset (I have noticed that it seems to take longer for this value to take affect, so if you reboot and the registry values are not changed, then you need to do it again and wait longer)
* Check to see that the file \ATDbg0\ATDbg0.txt has been created.
* Return the values back to what they were (most likely 0) waiting the same amount of time as above.
* Look in the ATDbg0.txt file and you should see a log of commands sent to the CDMA radio and there should be something like this somewhere in the file:
|| Begin Code Sample ||
11:9:3 Tx:AT+HTC_RMSL=0\r
11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_RMSL: 354201\r\n0\r
11:9:3 Tx:AT+HTC_ROTKSL=0\r
11:9:3 Rx:+HTC_ROTKSL: 216112\r\n0\r
|| End Code Sample ||
The numbers next to the Rx: +HTC_RMSL line should be your MS
I used resco exploror to change my registry waited about 1 hour and did a soft reset twice during that time.
I found the directory with the output file in the root directory.
Yes, it works
the getspc.exe, don´t work, but the this process work very fine
Some poeple are the meaning, that the place for this thread will be better here: OK, lets following this issue here. Here is a copy from the previews one:
CM 4.2.1 / CM4.1.99x Exception with contact group
Exception with Contacts - so like as in 4.1.99x
I have the same problem as in 4.1.99x, that I can not add a contact in my group (there is still ony one, which was working after some crashes in 4.1.999) without a crashed application
If I look into the exception Monitor, I can found a lot of:
Quote:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to find the My Contacts group"

What can I do or must do ?
History: I have had the G1 not so long time, but modif. it via WIPE to the 4.0.x ( stable )
After this (2 days later I upgrade to 4.1.111)
from this status I was following the description with the 2 Step to 4.1.999, where I have see the error the first time. With 4.0.x / 4.1.111 I haven't recognize this problem, because I have add some friend in my contact-list. For my meaning, this one was coming in, during upgrade in the 3 steps: WIPE, Google-Recovery, CM-Update 4.1.999.
Hint: If I update the phone, I start the phone WITHOUT a Mobile-Card: because I have had one time a bill over 200€ for data connection, and nobody knows why. So I boot the phone after update without card, check APNdroid, if 3G etc. disabed, shut down the phone, insert the casrd and boot again.
Maybe this handling calls the error ?
......
......
YES, I have use the search function and didn't found any usefull infos.
>>> ( how does I love this answer! If you found time to write this one, than I think, you know the answer - pls give me this one )
YES. I have reflashed the 4.2.1 with the card inside the phone: No change
Btw.: I was falling also in the error with the ext2 and ext3, so I change this one on the PC via tune2fs. But normaly every program, which need a DB and did not found it, create one. Or isn't it ?
Push > because its still avail and a Java exception is not a handling error
Just to bump this a bit and to pretend like it is actually useful to post in this forum...
Have you tried backing up your contacts via the browser, deleting them, sync the phone and then restoring?

No I haven't, because I have not so much contacts... So I was starting with a brand-new phone, "root" them, wipe them and change to CM4.0.x (Stable), jump to CM 4.1.11 and after a few days following the instruction to move to 4.1.999 with WIPE, 1st paket and the CM-paket.
Here I see the problem and also in 4.2.1.
About a missing Backup, I try only to create a contact manual on the phone.
THe first time, if I want to add the contact, the phone ask me to syncronise - but I was offline at all. So I reject this message ( there are also no datas to sync online )
Push .... .....
Before my first flash, I installed Android ID and did a Save ID. I never located the backup file (to copy off to my PC), I did write down the Android ID value displayed in this app.
I have since did my one and only flash... to FF 1.5.
I just now went back into Android ID app and it reports a different ID than the one I had before.
I am not aware of any problems due to this.
What should I do? It looks like I could manually enter my original Android ID value in this app, and hit Change ID. Should I do this?
thanks!

This belongs in Q&A but...yes you can do this. I do it everytime I flash. Some roms generate random id's when you boot up, others use the same across devices. You can change it to your stock ID using the app you mentioned.
If you have a ROM with the correct script (I know mine has it, and DG uses it) there's an update.id file on your SD card that will randomly generate a number the first time it boots up.
You should be able to change that in a text editor or whatever and put the one you want in.
Also. WRONG FORUM ZOMG

Hmm... it's a bit different now after the 'play' branding.
I did all this, but my phone isn't there...
I usually solve this by going into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Google Play Store>Delete Data
You'll have to login again and this time it should work. Good luck
