Yes, it need a port to the X1 kernel Android. It is only made for run in HD2.

It would be awesome to have it for the Xperia X1!

X1i = PS3-JB
Anyone tried running the HD2 PS Freedom build on to Xperia?
I'm wondering will it work or not? and whats the worst thing could happen?

I knew that was impossible it can run (because each mobile need a diferent android compilation) but I've tried it and the mobile crash...

ooo..... i think we'll have to wait then...

LOL! So all android apps need a different compilation for each device ? xD

i think this is different , because we need to change the driver of the usb.
so the ps3 thinks that the mobile is a USB Hub .
that is what i heard , so we need to change in the X1 Andoid files. and i know nothing about it LOL

Wing-Linux is currently the best of what you can get. Unless some new developers start working on this which doesn't seem likely.
The thread you linked was the beginning of development. Most of what's in there is useless because it's very old.
If you haven't tried Wing-Linux yet, the link is in my signature.
And check my last post there for dualboot/android rom issues.

I don't want to come off rude, but this is an App that enables you to run Android Cupcake (OS) on Your Windows Phone, so this isn't a ROM and this development is Quite slow and a lot of the features aren't up.
Yes its true, its not ROM, u can keep u r wm also
and u can boot it with android, but as u said lots of improvement is required.

I got anything working except audio and gsm ... Doing an romport from desire
For guys who want to feel using IOS http://adf.ly/37KhB ... Note that almost nothing works
Maybe the rom can't read sim cards?
I think that is can It is based on CM7 and it was alerady ported to many HTC devices
I guess it's good for the diversity it indeed brings, but I really don't see myself ever "constraining" myself with an iOS GUI(I personally dislike it). I tried the rom, and like the look, but not the iOS idea. Still, keep up the good work.
i hope u get to finish ur development soon
on this rom!!!
because i like ios style and software!!!

Does This Device Support Usb On The Go !?

Hi everybody.
i'm new in this forum. i have bought this cellphone.
i have a question
does this device support usb on the go ? if yes how ?
sorry for english cuz i'm iranian.
tnx u all
I've checked it by myself and It didn't work to me. So probably, no.
hmmm are u sure ?! xperia mini supports otg , then lg optimus black doesnt ?!
I have been asking the same question few times already but seems like no answer so far.
It needs to be supported by the chipset, and no info on that.
By any means please do share any findings.
It seems no one knows how to connect OTG to this device. anyway tnx all :|
There is always hope to be done via custom kernel, or the almighty ICS which is meant to support it on most devices.

It just info on the chipset which basically has all the possibilities of otg, video out etc.
Just needs to be implemented in the ROM one way or another
what we should do now to have otg on our phones ?
tell a rom cooker ?
what do we have to do now !? tell a rom cooker ?!
Not sure i have raised the question few times but no Clee so fat. Ifi an not mistaken there was a kernel for galaxy s to flash when want to use otg, but was a half solution.
Maybe speak with Knzo o Aprold ?
please do this yourself bro.
i don't have enough time and my english is not as good as u
I will. At the moment Aprold does not have much time around here. When he is back will ask him.
Oh thanks :X
as soon as u get any results. pls share :X

Rings any bells?

[Q]Ubuntu Phone OS on Xperia V

Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying the Xperia V. Do you think it will be possible to install Ubuntu for Phone after the release and some development? The minimum requirements are met, but I would like to be sure.
There's a boot loader menu for the Xperia S and I would like to know if something like this will be ported to the V. Also, is there any chance the Ubuntu OS could be stripped/customized to a custom Debian rom.
Last question, will we see custom kernels based on Ubuntu for the Xperia?
Thanks in advance!

Untill someone does it then maybe, once its done then yes, however, there seems to be more dev involvement in the xperia T, so if you are into dev then the Tmay be a better option for you.

It may be possible, but it depends if anyone actually wants to do it to see if it will be done.

Oh, then you can't install android on it, because this phone has really really low specs, I mean 128 mb RAM are nothing. You will have to buy a new device
