Could you please help me understand why did my Emails vanish from Samsung Email Account??
I had 3 Email accounts set up, I was receiving Emails fine, but suddenly, all my incoming emails I received during the week were reduced to 1 Email in each mailbox.
Where did the rest my Emails received go??
Thanks in advance for your help.

I had it set to 14 days ! and my 2 days old Emails were still getting deleted!!
I will try the max days which is 120 days and see what happens !

I also have had this issue. Just happened to me the other day. I uninstalled and then reinstalled and that worked. But I don't want to have to keep doing that.

Disappearing email

Hi all
I got my Vario III a little over 2 weeks ago now and I have setup a pop3 mailbox dedicated for my phone.
Basically I have setup email forwarding on my main email account which forwards a copy the phones pop3 acount.
Now i've noticed that every so often like today i've only got 3 emails in my inbox when I don't generally delete emails from the phone.
Any reasons why these emails should be disappearing from the inbox ?
on another note : i've many things to say about this phone some good some bloody infuriating but i'll keep that for another post !
cheers all
Steve

I think there is a option to delete your inbox everytime you "send/receive" emails.
If you dont have all messages selected in the advanced settings - download messages box they will disappear after 3 days.

Where have the emails gone? Please, help me..

Hi all.
Please, could anybody help me? After reading a received email message, when I tap send/receive again, all the received e-mails disappear. I donĀ“t know why.. I have my mail account via pop3
Go with IMAP instead of POP. Just erase the account and do a completely new set up. make sure to put IMAP in the account type and give it a go.
Do some searching -- there is a bug and a patch from microsoft with a possible fix for this issue.
I have the same problem with the mails disapearing from the inbox when I select 'send & recieve' but the only patch I can find is to solve a problem with emails not being sent...???
Could anyone please help me finding the patch to prevent mails disapearing automatically - or maybe a step by step guide? ;-)
Thanx to all, 1st: my mail provider does not support IMAP yet.
2nd: I found if I set downloading "today" emails, after send/receive all of the read email are gone, but if I set the period for downloading last 3 days, the stay in phone for three days so that all (I think)..

[Q] Emails keep disappearing from my inbox

Hi
I have noticed that after a while (a week or so) the oldest read emails disappear from my inbox. Is this normal behaviour? Is this an option I can change?
cheers

Hi,
This happens to me too.
Just change the Synchronisation Settings in your email account on WP7.
For example in my Google account I have the option to download emails from the last 7 days. Chosse the time you want: last 3 days/2 weeks/last month or anytime.
Thanks
You might have sync setting set to show only emails from last 7 days.
Open your email tile, click on the little 3 dots on bottom, click on setting, click on sync settings, then change(download email from)to whatever time frame you want showing. Hope this helps
I can confirm that this exact problem is also happening to me. All my emails have gone from my inbox, changing the settings as suggested does not work. I would like all my messages to be permanently in the inbox or at least have a cached copy on the phone once the inboxes has been updated
@cpascal
What you're asking for is opposite of what "syncronizing" does.
I believe what you're wanting is a POP account.

[Q] Native email problem

I am using the standard email application and am syncing 2 btinternet accounts and 1 gmail.
The problem i have is that on one of the btinternet accounts it keeps syncing old emails and notifying me that i have a 'new' email. If i they mark the email as read or delete it then when the app next syncs it brings up another old email and notifies me i have a 'new' email.
The other issue (and possibly why im getting this problem) is that it only shows the last 25 emails. If i click the load more then it does load more of them but it seems that after a couple of times syncing that i am them back with just the last 25.
Anyone know how to get over this or what the problem might be?
I know there are other apps available but actually i like the simplicity of the standard app. I have tried aqua mail etc but had different sync errors with that .

wht s ur notification config in Email app?

Gmail emails notification not showing as email comes in?

My Nexus 6 gmail emails are not showing as they come in. The account is synced but I am having to pull down in the inbox to get it to refresh and get emails. This is causing me to get emails late. Is this a lollipop problem??
Tried deleting the gmail account in Nexus 6 and reading the account with same results.
I am testing now in my ONe Plus One phone which is on kitkat with no issues and all emails coming in on time and showing notifications.
Exactly same problem I'm also facing..

Did you at any point install Inbox and used it to turn off notification from gmail?
Over the last few days, I've been having sporadic problems with inbox as well.
Easiest/best solution is to enable IMAP and SMTP on your gmail account, and use k9mail instead of gmail application.
I had uninstalled inbox but just reinstalled and gmail notifications are on. Uninstalled inbox again and only using gmail. Using my OPO till figure out issue. Can not be missing emails.
Thanks,
Ian B
