it works, most Anime and Movies you download online, they play properly without any modifications
make sure your video is Stereo encoding, and the frame rate format is for a 720p display or less
you mean i can only watch divx that i download, so not like stream it?...you know you got these websites that you can watch movies online for example freefullmovies dot com can you watch there movies?? because i cant but i dint reallyl DOWNLOADED anything only tried to watch online dvx movies that dont work
no streaming yet
not until you get flash 10.1 on Froyo
or unless you can find a good streaming video player that is compatible
AllGamer i just tried to download (not stream) a divx clip on my phone it say can not download the content not supported???
is this Muthaffff phone brokin or some software errors you think??

i have downloaded and installed TCPMP and the flash video bundle.
every time i go to youtube to try and watch a video it tries to open the video with real player, which doesnt work. how do i set the TCPMP player to be the default player?
get skyfire, signup with beta code micheal8 ..
all you need for streaming media GG
skyfire is garbage to me.. u are better off using vtap , and if u r on wifi u can set the settings in media to high quality and watch stuff without any pauses.. well it depends on wut kind of videos u will be watching.. i prefer vtap to watch whole episodes of anime
Before I get Vogue and port Android, can anyone confirm whether video streaming works from orb.com?
You can go to test.orb.com to verify.
I was not able to play video from the web address you posted (it threw an error message), but I was able to download OrbLive (free version) from Android Market and stream music from my house on my phone while at work. I am not sharing any video files so i can't test it right now. Maybe I need a different media player installed to play the video file from the web link you posted?
Hope that helps somehow.
I just flashed froyo and now my galaxy is blazing. I can view flash websites and watch movies online in flash with no problem at all, however, some sites such as stagevu use the divx web player. Now the Galaxy S is a divx.certified phone, it has the codec so there must be some way we can watch divx movies online! Anyone have any ideas?
Really divx certified?
I have a galaxy tab which is also divx certified but can't play divx web player on many sites. Would love to know a solution.
Its more than likely the codec and profile used in the files you are trying to view .

I thunk divx labs would have to develop an app similar to flash player for android that works the sameway as a browser plugin. So what need to do is convince divx lab to get this done for android.
This question has been asked but never answered. This is a serious problem for the Captivate. any page that has iPhone specific videos cannot be played on our phone. however these videos are simply mp4s that we should be able to handle. especially since mp4s loaded onto our phone can be played. but when we click on a video link in our browser (not just default browser) it says the video wasn't made for our phone and doesn't play it. It seems to be the video players fault because it launches. is there anyway to unlock this feature? if not can we have the browser use another player?
not sure, I am able to play mp4 links/files on my Perception. Do you have a link we can try?
I need your help with this app, well mostly the content. So now google play offers movie purchaces but in order to play them back you need to install Google's Play Movie & TV app, basically a video player. The app works well and all but i am wondering if there is a way to play the content on the tabs stock video player. I want to take advantage of the 5.1 sound. Once you purchace the movie you are able to download it but i can not seem to find it anywhere on tab and it is not on the download folder. I used root explorer but no where to be found. I also tried launching the stock video player but it only sees the sample video that came with the tab. Looking forward to your suggestions.
Hi,
I might be wrong but doesnt that just steam the video when it tells you it is being downloaded, this could be the only way you would watch it but not find it after that in the file system.
Have you checked the players file system?
Not to promote piracy but would it not be easier to download it over torrent and watch it with your original player...

Click to collapse
I have looked for the players file system but i can't find it either.
Tried to use torrents but they are a bit annoying to use so i would just rather pay for the movie, i dont mind really.
