This is a LITE rom for those who want a ROM with all the HTC bloat removed..and you can customize is ur own way..use ur choice of launcher, homescreen, apps no need to stick with Sense. And don't forget to check the attachments.

On some popular demand i decided to bring out this LITE rom.. Its almost stock Android with lots of Bloat removed.
FLASHING::
1> Always remember its great to have backup (SD and ROM-use Nandroid)
2> Download the zip file .. copy it to to root of your SD card and flash it from recovery.
3> Let the first boot take place.
4> Reboot
5> customize as per your needs ..download ROMmanager and parition your SD with EXT partition (Recommended settings for a 2gb SD= Swap=0, Ext=256, rest=Fat32).
6> Reboot and DONE
APN Settings ::You can check for your APN settings HERE and
Edit them Manually APN-Settings can be found under ::
Settings > Wireless > Mobile Networks >Access Points.
By pressing the menu key you can add a new APN.

this is test build so it does not include that but if tests go well i will release one by the evening.. . so test it as soon as possible

Nope this is LITE ROM users are free to choose wht they want... ROMmanager will come in next Vibes release.. not in this LITE one..
You cant get it from Market why ?? ask ur ROM chef to help..

Working smoothly so far. Have tried market, internet XDA app and OsmAnd. Launcherpro working great. Is there no way to get vanilla lock screen or are we stuck with HTC's effort? It really doesn't look so hot on the small screen.

It's a pay app but Goto is really nice if you go in and 'disable' the HTC lockscreen. The HTC lockscreen is lagging down the Goto lockscreen if it is still working , by disabling it Goto can work its magic, and it is much nicer.
I renamed the HTC lockscreen .apk to .bak, hence disabling it, if you know how to do this it shouldn't be a problem for you to do it , if you don't , i suggest you don't try it cause getting back could be troublesome.

I will try to add a free one in next but infact i want to keep it as clean as possible.. now i will remove even the leftover Bloat in next release.

Yeah i am all for removing bloat. And now that i am reading it again , a better solution than adding a free one would be to get the standard android one to work as it is clearly there in some form.
Flashed v2, booted okay but not connecting to mobile network? happened with the other versions of your roms too, am i doing something wrong? always do a data and cache wipe before flashing.

My fault i misplaced that apns file.. i can fix that in next rom .. or u can try one thing not sure if it wil work.. but should be done before flashing..use Winrar for following steps..
open the Lite rom file u have downloaded with winrar:>> go to>>System>>framework>>framework-res.apk>>res>>xml>>delete apns.xml.
Now extract apns.xml from apns.zip attached here. drag and drop the file given here in this attachment into the window where u deleted apns.xml from. In winrar change the dropdown menu from normal to store. and accept to update archive.
Now ur ROM is ready to be flashed..without APN problem.

This version is really fast. Just regret that I can't remove sh*** like taskiller or the buggy lockscreen.
I think you should not ad anything in order to stay in the "lite version" mind.

You have to intall first "Android eclair" than you can run all this apps.

I have tried to extract some applications from Sense build for X1, but when i installed it they didn't started or started with errors.
im not a pro but with Android 2.2 it dont work you need eclair 2.1 and rosie.apk post #12

its work with 2.2 but with 2.1 it work better
2.2 builds are superiour to 2.1 ones, so i don't wan't to to use eclair. I will try use your system.sqsh, but i'm not sure if all features like wifi would work.
EDIT: no rosie.apk says "Application not installed".
gps, bt and camera DONT work the rest like gprs, wifi, microfon (music) worke god and its look great...

Nope, it won't work.
With your system.sqsh screen is inverted and after unlocking the device there is just black background with small white area containing HTC logo. No homescreen, no menu, no nothing.

YEa..That wud be gr8 if you could probably extract it out of a ROM that is Droid 2.2 + HTC Sense....I just want the flip clock with the Full screen animated weather widget...

kewl as dude changing the font isnt that hard if u know howto use adb ???
open another rom in winzip/winrar and copy the droidsans.ttf and droidsans-bold.ttf
boot ur phone into recovery mount /system in the partition menu hook up ur cable and use adb
adb remount
adb push (filename here) /system/font/(filename here)
adb reboot
as always make a nandroid backup first incase it stuffs up , lol , good lick

GPS location for weather not working
Bug: The phone cannot find itself across gps. Location for weather must be added manualy.
And as a cherry on a piece of pie: everything else is realy nice done. Exept for icons can you do some mod without of these "nice" looking icons on notification bar ? I have on my mind something like, you know.. minimalistic and not as that original like this. For example: WildPuzzleMod have nice looking icons on notification bar. If you do some mod with those icons and without that bug i've mentioned at the top of the post, it will be excelent.

I would reconsider the font, but the ROM is good, Froyo with move to SD and a total of 140MB free from the beginning.

8.If you use live wallpapers ...you will see how you device slowing down (and i use a speed of proc of 630Mgz).

have you rebooted after install? if yes, try a full wipe. and be sure to have the LATEST radio. otherwise no gingerbread for you..

When you get a minute can you check something in clockwork on your IS.
I think it may be a bug in the DS but whenever i use the format cache command in edify (yes it is typed correctly lol) the recovery doesnt flash the zip but instead aborts installation with a status 1 error code.

This SOFT-MOD is based on Mur4ik's SwiftDroid 2.0 ASIS.
The base ROM can change anytime, if I find something better.
I used the same kernel and system now. I recommend to use 256MB Swap, swap recognizition working in init.d scripts, swappiness is set to 30 by default.
I also recommend to set your sys part. size to around 150MB.
I themed it to the closest feeling of Ice Cream Sandwich.
Installation:
Just put the .zip file anywhere you want on your SD card, then go to CWM and just flash it as a .zip file. I recommend to wipe everything before you install.
I'm not responsible if you brick your phone!

I have them too somewhere on the hdd.
Yeah, I'll put them to my mod, but only in the next release.
Anyway, I'll upload the v1.0 soon, I just need to put some apks to sys/app.

500 seconds? :O For me it's 90secs, but OK. Tomorrow I'll replace the links with mediafire.

yep but i had to manually apply the theme in theme manager to make it look like the pic
I installed the Notification panel tweak, it works, but everything fc-s
Market, Google apps, dps, almost everything... Only a few apps work, such as Root Explorer, contacts, superuser, terminal.

yes it does. im tried on mine. the first boot takes somewhat long. took about 20 mins if i remember right. be warned, dont flash if u dont like touchwiz (latest) or stock samsung apps cos it adds a few of those.
the new weather clock.apk not work for me.... problem loading widget... is it work for you guys?

i wanted a few samsung apps, but not the launcher as i still want to remain my CM9 launcher. if i straight away flash this, the touchwiz ui will replace the stock ICS launcher?
theres still the option to select the Trebuchet launcher. or u can install another launcher over it like Nova or Apex which looks exactly the same like Trebuchet but with more functions.
I want to flash this for the default Samsung camera app. But if I flash this, will my entire system, ie the settings, menu etc look like Samsung s ics Rom?
i dont think camera will be changed. if u have downloaded the zip, check the system/app folder inside the zip. all the additional apps will be found there.

Actually I can't just copy Samsung camera as it requires some Samsung framework and tw elements. So was asking if after u flash this zip, do u have Samsung camera or does copying stock camera from Samsung ics Rom can work or not.

i've checked. the samsung camera app is not included in this add on. to answer ur othr question, i dont think copying the stock samsung camera will work either, for the same reasons u stated above

Actually if u have an ics or even a gb nandroid backup, extract it and find polaris office apk from it and copy it to the location you found it. And change permission.

i think u can extract it from any of our stock ROMs. as for the permissions it should be -
