OpenEclair Themes

As shown, this is a thread for themes pertaining to OpenEclair. This is a general thread and is NOT limited to just me, any and ALL themes for OpenEclair can be posted here. My reasoning for this, OpenEclair is a community rom, as such, it's themes should feel as if they are part of community also.
Anyways, here's one I did way back when 1.2.2 was released:
UPDATE.ZIP
Flash this in recovery --> Flash
This will give you:
Black Bar with white text
White notification icons (Messaging, Gmail, Email, Calendar, Clock, Market, and Gtalk)
New Launcher icons for Music and Gtalk (if they disappear after the morph, just reapply the morph with only that app)
LiveWallpapers with the moon in the grass night scene and smaller, slower nexus livewallpapers (most of this taken from qteknology)
Thanks to: Kingklick (used his hero rom for the images), the Openeclair team (Wesgarner and ChrisSoyars for the rom and I also used some images from it), whoever uploaded that system dump of the Droid (used it for the talk and music icons), and Jbowdach (for the fixed theme file), Qteknology for the sizings of the Nexus Live Wallpaper (and grass). Also some awesome guys that need praise just for being them include Manup456, Minus_stl, Colverdale, JBthemes (or Jairomeo-correct if wrong), Cyanogen, David1171, cacheinjection..... contact me if you feel I missed you.

I hope to have the blackbar mod ready for 1.3/2.0 when it is released but I am currently experiencing issues so it may or may not make it past 1.2.2.

INSTRUCTIONS:
*THIS IS NOT A METAMORPH*​
1. Place the latest compatible OpenEclair ROM and the latest Open007 theme for your SPL on the root of your SD card. Reboot to recovery.
2. Flash OpenEclair (or have a previous install)[Wipe optional but highly recommended]
If newly flashed:
3. Reboot. Complete initial setup if you have wiped.
4. Wait about 5 minutes for the ROM to complete its initial boot.
All:
5. Reboot into recovery.
6. Flash Open007.
7. Reboot
OpenEclair requires special installation instructions because it bootloops otherwise. You must boot at least once on the OpenEclair ROM to allow Settings.apk and the keyboard to be moved to the proper directory. Do not whine about the theme not working if you have not followed these steps because I have tested it myself.
NOTE: As of Open007 v0.3.1, the theme can be flashed directly without having to flash the ROM. Thanks to JAguirre1231 for the update-script that makes this possible. Please make sure you download the theme designed for your SPL. The above instructions should be a failsafe. Please make a NANDroid backup just in case.
NOTE: There are no differences between the two versions for each SPL. The only difference is how the script that installs it works.

I tried to download the one at the top...the one you made when 1.2.2 first was released and it doesn't seem to be downloading.

I just downloaded it fine. If you are using Chrome, Chrome is known to not have the best... downloading skills (sometimes the download never starts, sometimes it downloads in half a second and it isn't done, and sometimes it hangs while downloading)

I havent had any problems downloading anything with Chrome...ever.
Thank you for these themes JAguirre, it really puts a nice touch on OE.

can someone confirm that those are my animations? the ones i made for darkstar?

Yes, these most likely are (These are the ones with a previous version of SuperD-1.6), I will be putting them as yours and will remove them if you want. Sorry if you don't want them posted here, hope I didn't (or anyone else) offended you.

Wow dude this made my openeclair 1.2.2 rom so much better....when I pull down wigits menu it comes down from the top and it looks super clean....same when I get a messge on the notification area...zooms out and brings the messege innn!!!!! Super sweet dude! THANKS!

Thank cacheinjection for the animations

Works fine with the latest version- OpenEclair_1.3.0.1-main (haven't tried with the 3D patch but it should work fine.

It works fine but the onscreen keyboard is the same as the default G1 keyboard and no longer like the theme.

So the animations AND black bar work on 1.3.0.1? I needz mah black bar now that im back on OE!

There was never a theme to the keyboard included in this...

Hello everyone,
I am no longer supporting the old thread as most, if not all of them were based on DI18 and or DK28. In an attempt to further contribute and avoid compatibility issues I'm starting this thread for EB13/CW3 compatible zips. I also took down the old repository so you guys don't flash something that will screw up your phone..
If you want something converted/Created you need to remember a few things.
1) IT MUST BE EB13 compatible (especially if system apks are involved ie dialers and other themed system apks)
2) You must attach the apk or zip file you want created or converted.
3) I will not touch paid apps....SO DO NOT POST THEM.
4) My life is complicated so please be patient.... I'll do my best to keep up with this thread.
ALL zips will be posted in my EC 05 .zips repository on my lostandtired.com blog. Click on the "Android Development" page and look in the right hand column..

I would love to get an ec05 version of the galaxy tab email. The one I have works decently but I keep getting FCs whenever I try to attach a file.

hello, first of all, thank you so much for all your hard work on helping us all out with your skills and spreading awareness for autism. i'm a total newbie, but i can follow instructions very well so i rooted my month-old epic cuz i hated all the bloatware and tried out your midnight rom 5.0. i love it!
recently updated to 5.1, and its great too. i apologize if any of these are just plain stupid requests, but if you are taking requests for custom zips:
1. i like the 5.0 boot and shutdown animations a bit better than the 5.1 animations as nifty as they may be. is it possible to modify the animations?
2. is there a way to remove stock email and sprint hotspot?
3. although i updated to 5.1, i notice that when i install the bonsai eco5 aosp lockscreen, it removes the reboot option from the power menu.
other than that, i have everything i ever wanted and needed from my epic. i understand how busy you must be but THANK YOU! i'm a big fan.

actually, the new bonsai lockscreen solves my #3 request. i don't really mind that email and hotspot are on there. but is it an easy fix to change what boot/shutdown animations to use?

You need to wipe the data for email when changing email apps....

This is my daily used rom wich i modified to my own needs.
Just wanted to share this with others, and maybe after flashing you'll like it too.
Make sure you do a FULL WIPE when you install this rom for the first time. Updates kan be flashed over current releases.

This one is called rudolf I think it looks pretty the same, but there are some differences with some pop up windows i believe...

Think u should save them as google contacts then u have them for ever(.Even if ure house burns down with phone and pc in it they will still be saved).

On Hold[THEME][EH06][8/19/2011]Epic_Mutt v1.0 with AIO Mod plus TW4

This is an update to my Epic Mutt theme for EH06. It is called Epic_Mutt because I have taken things from about 20 different places and put them together along with some of my own items. So if you like it please thank the real innovators who made most of this.
So I can't honestly remember where I got half the things I have grabbed so thanks to all of the developers in the xda community (I didn't troll just the Epic forums).

Instructions:
If you aren't deodexed, odin the deodex file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1221614
Download .zip & place in root of SD.
Reboot into CWM3 & flash.
Don't forget that if your battery is missing after flashing to go to Settings|Lockscreen Settings|Statusbar Settings and check Hide Battery Icon then uncheck it.
If you want the clock to be the same color as the other icons go to Settings|Lockscreen Settings|Statusbar Settings|Clock Color and enter #ff0094fe

Yeah it should work. Always a safe bet to backup for though.

Sorry everyone. I am doing too many things at once. I forgot to change the dock icons so I have uploaded a new version. If you have downloaded this before now you can download again and flash over the old one. If you get confused and don't know which file is which check the md5.

Looks F'in sweet man... thank you!

I tried this out on your DeOdex TAR and this and I get FC on MMS and Phone... i cleared data for the apps FC'ing and then booted into CWM, wiped delvik and cache part. fixed permissions and still have issues with the 2 apps. I can open mms and create but when using the back key it FC... same with phone when going to logs then back key it FC...if i try contacts FC...
Anyone else try this out yet?

Were you using the TW4 version. Looks like I mixed up the logsprovider. Flash the one in the OP if you were and it should be fine. Please let me know if you were not on the TW4 or if flashing the logsprovider doesn't fix the issue on TW4. I was having the problem on TW4 one and after troubleshooting found the logprovider was old. I flashed the new one and all was well.

I was using the tw4 one... Also while you are working on the theme....I use the pattern lock screen and love the new look of the dots, but when tracing the pattern the dots gtalk highlighted green instead of blue...anyway you could modify this?

[THEME] ICE CREAM SANDWICH FOR FroYo (27.12.2011)

After some delay i can now finally release my theme. It's not finished yet, but allmost
This is NOT for any Froyo rom. It's for FroYo (with capital y). It's a rom Goku ported. other roms like froyd, floyo etc. will NOT work.
Will update the OP more later
Install instructions:
1) Download the zips. Unpack the CMTheme.zip and place the xml in a folder named CMTheme on ur SD. Place the other one in the root of your SD (in no folder).
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe cache and dalvik
4) Flash the zip
5) Reboot
6) Go to Settings/CM settings/User interface/ Tweaks extras/ select theme and select ICS
About the ICS Pack: This is not a flashable zip, extract it
This one includes some stock wallpapers and some other ICS style wallpapers. It also includes the stock dock background, the same which are used in my screenies. The dock icons included are NOT stock ICS icons, they are the ones I've used my screenies. If you want stock icons it's easier to download a icon pack for your launcher. If you want more dock icons like I use, make them with the app Simple Text from Market, it's really easy
Changelog:
4/1: Added a .zip with some wallpapers and such. (xda is bugging so i can't upload, u'll have to wait. Look at page 2 for one wallpaper and dock background
27/12: Added some reaaally nice stuff, let's all admire the settings.

Looks realy cool, ty for making it, going to check it right away.

Reflash rom with cache and dalvik wipe.
In what way is it buggy? I know there's a gap over and to the left of the icon in pulldown, but other than that I don't find any bugs at all atm...

I couldn't boot up after installing theme. Was using floyo 1.4 and entered the endless boot loop.

Oh, this is not for floyo, It's for FroYo, gokus port ;-) reflash Rom with cache and dalvik wipe.

Bootloop after flashing
Hey...
im using FroydVillain 1.7.3 (based on CM) and tryed to flash the theme.
I wiped dalvic and cacke before, but unfortunately i have bootloops!
Does anyone have an idea why it does not work?

Oh, sorry, I better specify this: This is not for any Froyo rom, but for FroYo (not the capital j), it's a rom Goku ported. I will update OP.

Updated the theme, did some stuff which makes the settings look reaaaally ICS I can upload screenies later. (though i guess no1 still uses this rom )

Great job, looks awesome really . How did you make your launcher look like that? Have you changed it? I am running default rom launcher and it doesn't look anything like yours.

It's launcherpro. The dock icons are made with simple text from market. The app drawer icon is ^^ then I have set the ICS dock background as, well, dock background the widget is beautiful widgets which you can download from market (paid and legal) or GetJar (free and legal) add a super clock widget and find an ICS super clock skin I attached wallpaper and dock background ;-)
