Coming up next.... a theme inspired by Apple's ipad theme... here's a picture in advance how it's gonna be...
Remember this is NOT a HTC sense theme, I just happen to have this installed already and like it together with my windows mobile theme!!!
If you want it like this you can better install NRG's 6.5.3/Dinik (in my case omnia 2/i8000) rom and apply my theme after, you can have this views via Cookie's home editor / edit home layout and drag&drop the interface as how you want it to be.
DON't FORGET TO PUT THIS THEME AS DEFAULT or nothing will change

+ this theme includes an Apple styled on/off switch!!

I installed the cab and chose it as default theme. The buttons look very nice. I'm missing the wallpaper from your screenshots above though. Where can I find it? It showed up very briefly when coming back from CoOkies Hometab Editor but now it's not displayed. Do you have a hint for me?

P.S.: I just saw that the background in the Start Menu is the new one but unfortunately it is not on the Home Screen (CoOkies Home Tab included in Energy CHT ROM), well, at least not in portrait mode. It's also there in landscape mode on the Home Screen though, but where is it stored so I can also choose it for portrait mode and in the lock screen???

You said that this is not a Sence theme. But it looks like a CHT theme right?
So we could install your theme even other any Sence ROM with CHT installed.
Can you confirm?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but, for this theme you need to flash your ROM with NRG?

Is there not some way of getting your theme to work WITHOUT switching Roms?

You don't need any specific rom, any 6.5.x rom will do. But like I said many times before this is a Windows Mobile theme the rest you see is sense 2.5. So in case you want it exactly as I have it you will need a sense rom with Dinik's CHT (cht theme) such as NRG's rom.

Maybe forgot to select the theme within Windows Mobile settings?
Go to "start / settings / home" and select the ipad theme from there.

Sorry, i cant understand...for the instalation i have to download the cab file above, for example ipad_dark_blue and start the instalation??? Or i have to disable first the windows default from items on today and after that install the cab??? Is the instalation so easy???

Yeh it's that simply just install the cab, select the theme within the Windows Mobile settings and the theme will be working straight away. Just make sure you have a Windows Mobile 6.5.x device.

If you have a gsm touch pro, then you can flash NRG's rom with it. There's some oem's available for cooking your own rom, but they haven't been resized at all that I know of.(still wvga instead of vga)

did you change the notification bubbles? for texts and emails and such

not yet but it surely will be done..
as showaco said you can flash an NRG rom
anyway, im gonna start doing some progress right away..i think i make the selections a bit darker. When i pump up the light on my phone it looks a bit more grey than black, so i'll fix that

i changed every icon to a glossy black and it looks much better
im now adding some last changes
then i will update the thread/screenshots and i will post a download link

Looks like hte gray highlight has been changed to black. I like that option better. I also like how some of the screens are white with black font, then the highligh is black with white font... very professional looking.

you are right...well basically i thought the first was black as well but after i turned my baccklight sttings up i saw that it was grey
i just flashed the newest rom and i see that some manila files have been changed..i have to fix some stuff and i will add the download right away

i've created a zip, inside you'll find
- all the original cabs to install plugins
- my cab
-some extras like wallpapers, taskbar skins, and the Japs fonts...i left everything separate so it's your choice
as you can see in the last screen i've made 2 more listback pngs you'll find in extra folder...
same as fonts...if you like just overwrite in \windows dir and restart/reboot

i vote no. make it a seperate cab install. (mostly cause i have my own personalized taskbar)

Yes, it could be just a shadow, or something, just to see the difference between pressed and not-pressed... but, without those borders... to make an idea, see the down-right menu pressed button:

What I like the most about this theme are the menu windows, their transparency... just like original Aero. Great, great job!

I think the aero_menuUpArrowDisabled and aero_menuUpArrow should be reversed. I mean when you have the possibility to scroll down the menu, the disabled arrow appears like you have no scroll available, and when you have no scroll to do, the normal arrow appears. I hope you understood what I meant. Can you check it? It doesn't bother me at all, I already did the change, but for the perfect functionality of your theme.

Indeed. Well, soon I will correct it. In addition, add a theme in dark colors, almost ready.
Hmm, I think everything is correct. aero_menuUpArrowDisabled is more vivid and shows that reach the start/end menu.

I thought that the aero_menuUpArrow (the more coloured one) should let you press it and this way (letting you know) you can scroll down when more menu options are available, and the disabled one (the faded, pale one) should appear when you have reached the end of scrollable list and thus announcing you you have nowhere to go down/up.
Anyway, I might be wrong... that's what I asked you to check...
By the way...what do you mean by the darker theme? Eagerly waiting for it...

I attached a few screenshots so I can ask you something:
- can you make the installing progress bar a little darker, this way it's bearly visible (see first screenshot);
- why the "Ok" message is surrounded by that square? It looks like something's missing in there (like somekind of error)... could it be just the plain "OK" message in that window, without that square? (2nd screenshot);
- why do I get 2 files installed instead of one in the Programs list? (3rd screenshot).
- why is this theme installed in /My Documents/Themes folder? I kinda liked it in /Windows ... This way I don't see that Themes folder all the time I access My Documents. All my other themes are located in /Windows.
This is your theme, but I played a bit with the icons in the bottom bar and the taskbar/toolbar color (only for my personal use), but that's all, I didn't touch anything else... in case you wonder...
Hope I'm not boring already, I just want to help making this better.

1) In next version I fix it.
2) I do not know why the background of OK is not transparent, I tried to understand and to no avail.
3) Also, do not know. Maybe in the TSK I allow the possibility of uninstalling in WinCE CAB Manager. In next version I fix it.
4) Themes are sorted into folders and there is nothing superfluous. The Windows folder is huge and search in it the elements of the theme is very difficult.

NOTES
-This theme was made for Sense 2.5 and CHT 1.8.5
-theme includes HQ as well as regular quality .cabs for the clock, sliders, lockscreen and music player
-the HQ .cabs require your phone to be patched with cfc 0.50 to work and they may slightly slow down your phone if you're using an older model. I'm currently using all the HQ .cabs on my Imagio (not very fast) and they're running very smoothly though.
-Refer to installation guide below for cfc patching. However, most custom ROM's have already been cfc patched so it'll just be a simple cab install for most of you
-you may use my work for anything you like, just leave me credit
-requests within reason are always welcome
-No curtains .cab attached in this post for those who need it

Installation for Clocks, Sliders, Lockscreen, Music Player & CHT Icons
1. Install the .cab's
2. Restart Sense
-If you want the HQ versions, see the guide in post #2.

Patching Manila Installation
1. Download cfc-gui.exe here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3164600&postcount=1
2. Run cfc-gui.exe
3. Go to Device>Patch Manila on Device as shown in pic below
-If you get an error, I'm looking for a solution but not sure what to do yet, you may want to try to contact Chainfire or look for more instructions in the cfc-gui thread
Then just install the .cabs and reset sense.

Android Taskbar Notes
-For the android taskbar, just place the attached taskbar templates correctly on your custom wallpapers or upload your wallpaper and I will
-This was originally made for CHT, but it should work with HDWalls and a RetractableSlider .cab, which you can easily find on google
-I used NRGZ28's remove start & X button from home screen, this may work with other rom's other than EnergyROM's but check out your rom's threads for more compatible versions. If you are using an EnergyROM, just download the .cab from the Add On's section NRG's threads.
Installation
(if you are not installing black text)
1. Download the .zips and .cabs
2. Install the TransparentRetractSlider .cab
3. Install poyensa's transparent softkey .cab (cambios registro softkeys)
4. Skin the Taskbar & Softkeys with CHT Editor for the android taskbar
-you must also set your slider to retract in CHT Editor>Miscellaneous>Retract Slider>On
(if you are installing black text as well)
1. Download the .zips and .cabs
2. Install the Transparent Retract Slider .cab
3. Install DarkNinja's white theme, Go to Settings>All Settings>Home>Appearance>Select
Dark Ninja White (I have found this to be the easiest and fastest way to get black text on softkeys)
4. Install textcolorfix.cab
5. Install Apaquette's blactext .cab
6. Install calendarblacktext.cab
7. Install textfix2.cab
8. (optional)Install my CalendarBlueToday.cab (makes the "today" indicator on calendar tab blue, better for lighter wallpapers)
9. Install poyensa's transparent softkeys (cambios registro softkeys) and reset
10. Apply the Wallpaper and Skin the Taskbar & Softkeys to get the android taskbar with CHT Editor and reset again

hey, first thx for beutifull theme. But i have problem with skining taskbar and softkey bar...can you write detail instructions how do it and upload icon pack (battery, signal, etc.)?

are you using CHT 1.8.5? with CHT Editor just go to Set Wallpaper from the right "Menu" softkey and set one of my wallpapers with the android taskbar to "Skin Taskbar and Softkeybar." After soft resetting, install the cambio softkeys from post #3 and soft reset again, they should be transparent now.

yeah im using CHT 1.8.5..i do everything but still same. IF i use cambio softkeys nothing happened (yes i have win 6.5.x with bottom buttons)..and if i use your wallpaper only upper and bottom bars are "skinned" (only piece of wallpaper is visible on them)

Hmm sounds like you don't have my wallpaper set as your wallpaper. The same wallpaper must be set as "Wallpaper" and "Skin Taskbar and Softkey bar"
As for the softkey cab, the thread below tells how it works so you may want to try delete those files.

I actually tried the second link first and then installed the cambio softkeys because I wanted to use my own theme, then I reverted back to my theme again. This may have made the cambio cab work because it would have skinned the softkeys with the transparent "theme" softkeys.
I'll look for other solutions if it doesn't work.

one question, how i can get transparent slider? i tried 'touch x transparent slider.cab" but not working properly because all red icons has disappeared.

Looks great with those notifications as well I have a transparent curtains.cab Ill attach here as well as on post #1 for the transparent slider background.

Ahh, that would do it.

very nice. really like the silver look, makes the blue look neon. you should look at making other colors as well, i'm sure they'd be popular. (not that I have a clue as to how difficult that would be) especially pinks, purples or oranges. not a whole lot of girly themes out there.

Thanks and glad you like it different colors for atleast the clock, lockscreen and music player would be quite easy, but sliders may take a little work. I'd be happy to recolor it on your or other's request but probably won't release unless requested.
