hi,
something strange has happened to my SGS.
I have updated task manager such as froyo using samsung apps.
Then i have turned off my phone and when i restarted it the task manager was the prevoius version.
But even more strange,if i go in samsung apps the new task manager there is no more.....
Someone had my problem?
thank you
regards
Same here... using jm8 + raspdeep oc120_voodoo_b4.1
I've seen a similar thread in the Themes and Apps forum.
Some people have had success by uninstalling the old version of Task Manager (v1.1 something) before installing the new one (v1.5). You'll need root for the uninstall, as it's a system app.

Hi
is there a way to add an application that i installed manually from sdcard to the downloaded section of the market so i can see when a new version of the app is out there? or every app checks by itself? i come from winmo so i dont really know much about android
thank you
atrackdog will do this for you with one click. It will check all the apps you have install and check market for update.
thank you, great app
after some testing with some rom out there i can say that android market is kinda bugged.
everytime i reboot my phone and i open market, all my apps are gone. Nothing is listed in download page of market. Every time i need to clear market data and restart it. Any fix for it? Can be related to the new directory of /dbdata/databases and not data/data?
thx
I have a similar issue sometimes after installing a new rom....The best way to fix it I have found is to install a new app from the market
This disease is contagious. Even smart and seasoned members can't distinguish Q/A and DEVELOPMENT forum.
*headbang*
It's not a simple question. We need a fix because it's a rom problem.

Hello everyone! I have stupid question: Is there any way to update via android market applications that are not installed from the market? I am sure many of you out there have outdated apks that needs to be updated. So you install an apk and if it is outdated, market app should find it and update with the latest version existing in the market
Like i said maybe a stupid question
If an app is on the market then it will update .If its not from the market then it will not update unless updating is built into the app .

You may need to go into Settings -> Applications and find the Market and do a "force close" and then a "clear data".
The next time you open up the market it should rebuild the list of 'installed apps'.

Hic, same the problem, i think new version cannot clear this problem, because it must be use SuperUser Function ( Command CHMOD 777).
Check solution in here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166230&page=9
the new market is very heavy..need more time to load up compare to the previous one..
Since using this new market, I've found there are a lot of apps that are 'incompatible with my phone' even though i installed the same apps before (with a previous ROM) with the old market.
I just tried d/l Flash 10.3 which i previously had and there is no install button shown.
It's the same with many of the apps I've had previously.
I have Task 29'ed my phone many times and done totally fresh installs of MAGLDR, CWR and different roms but this still happens. Any ideas as to why, people??
Many thanks in advance
I have an EU HD2 running TyphooN CM7 v3.5.8 MAGLDR 1.13, CWR 4.0.1.4,
Before that i was mainly running Hyperdroid CM7 v2.1.0 HeadyHoneyBadger
Before installing the new Market, beware that The New Market WILL MAKE some apps unfindable from your phone (or findable but with no install button) AND "INCOMPATIBLE" from android market website.
That's what leaving me away from it.
Also, Market Enabler has no effect on those apps aforementioned.
Big thanks,men!
Thank you guy

Just uninstall and install an older market. Here is a great place to find them....http://www.mediafire.com/temasek#2f5c1db3in1h5,1. Dont forget to thank Temasek....awesome developer
tempest6253 said it was due to changing screen density. I'll change it back to normal and see what happens.
If that don't work then I'll try the old market again.
