i was flashing radio but it has been stuck and says formatting cache.. now its almost 5 mintues should i reboot phone ?

Hey sorry if this has been asked before i couldn't find it anywhere so there is some problem with my phone i don't know what is happening every time i use to install a new Rom it use to install perfectly without any fc's boot loop errors etc, but from past 2 days i don't know why any ROM i try to install (even the one which i use to work perfectly) will not install perfectly there will be fc's boot loop error wont pass the X when i switch on the phone. Please help its driving me crazy
Make sure your wiping old data in recovery.. and if flashed a new kernal or radio could also cause a problem too

yes i did Wipe data/factory reset ,Wipe cache,Wipe Dalvik-cache but just now i discovered that after doing this and still last installed rom has not been wiped its still there wtf what should i do and yes i did install 2.6.34.1_AVS-925mV_BFS_1113Mhz kernel how do i completely wipe everything???
Umm also do wipe sd partition, then do another wipe factory and cache-.. then do a repair sd then try to flash new rom.. this is what i usually do when i install new roms
still no luck i even did clear storage then wiped everything and i dont use app2sd(ext) i dontunderstand what to do i even tried with the clockworkmod's recovery still the same
sorry man, My only guess and idea is try to flash back to a normal kernal, then flash rom.. only thing i can come up with atm, or you can wait and see if some one that comes up with a better solution
where can i find norman kernel or any kernel which can fix this?
i need help fast it keep rebooting all i did was upgrade cm6 and did a nandroid after that .. so i went to delete rom and reinstall it and it still boot loop now im stuck i hear reinstall the recovery but idk its not working

need your EXACT process to help. which rom did you have? did you wipe all? which rom did you install? gapps? kernel? what recovery do you have? do you have any old nandroids? can you get into recovery?
i was on cm6 ext blue 17 vers then upgraded to dec 30 vs then i did a nandroid without rebooting ..... then when i restart it went into boot loop..... i can get into recovery and i wiped and installed diff rom and no luck still same thing\\\\.......\\
well i just fixed it ... i flashed another rom ....... idk y it worked but yea ..... idk thanks alot how do i delete this post?
wow i tryed to install the mau5 & cm6 rom but its not working sending me into reboot mode..but damage control v1 it didnt ...... i was using cm6 b4 this crap ..

1.always boot before you nandroid.
2.did you really get it? i don't think you can't delete a thread.

what? reboot into recovery, wipe EVERYTHING (full system,dalvik,cache) except your SD of course. once the wipe is done nandroid into an OLD known stable and then start over whatever you were doing. and always wipe before flashing, always boot before nanding. hope this helps.
Hi all,
Today I installed Jewe SmartEdition on my phone. Everything went fine but suddenly it crashed while running Quadrant. Now it's in a boot loop and I'm not possible of getting in CWM. Does somebody know a fix for this ?

I don't know if there is a better solution. But if you can put it in download mode you can flash new rom with odin. But you lose your downloads etc.

Factory reset if you can followed by deleting Quadrant .

Pull the battery... put in to recovery mode...
wipe the cache partition and go into advanced CWM options and wipe the dalvik cache... then try rebooting the system....
any difference? or did you just install another ROM over it?
hey, i've tried several custom roms like cm7,9..but i m stuck on bootloop everytime..i'm sure about that:
1) my phn is rooted
2) using rom for s5830 and not for s5830i
3) fashed acc to the procedures carefully..wipe data wipe cache wipe dalvik cache flash rom
i read in some thread that fixing bootloop is hit n trial so i tried evry permutations of wiping data and cache and then falshing too(besides the general procedures fr evry rom)
ps:i randomly took my sim out and then flashed them and they work fine!!!..with sim again same problem
tried using sim lock n then wipe n stuff..got bootloop just after it processes for sim lock..nt few sec before that
..ve switched back to stock rom for the time being but bored of gingerbread nw!!
..so plz help!!

Hallo,
I am getting an error in CWM v5.0.2.8 called "error mounting /system!"
I tried to wipe all data/factory reset, but nothing helps.
Is there any solution to get it working ?
I tried before restoring the backup, but i get another error "error while flashing boot image"
