[HELP NEEDED!]Soft brick!

I started getting random process errors onscreen. It got to the point where "process com.android.com" was force closing, rendering the phone unusable. I decided to flash the ROM to ROTO’s JMI (Wipe). The phone boots but the errors were still there, as if they weren’t wiped at all. Long story short, I went back and forth with a couple of ROMS that I have (even my stock JK1) and then it started booting straight to recovery and showing this:

Anyone who can lend their ideas on how I can get the Tab back will be much appreciated.
Did you try to restock with odin? then you should get a real factory reset tab.

after flashing with JQ1 the booting stops on SAMSUNG logo, and only way to reanimate it is to re flashing with JMK-stock-safe(but all errors are still stay)
You have corrupt files and a bad flash, or you are restoring bad apps and system data (a big no-no).

if you got the jq1 from samfirmware and flashed it with odin, you will get stuck at the samsung logo. you need to flash a file dbdata.rfs to complete the firmware.

[Q] failed to mount /sdcard error

hi guys
this is my first post on this kickass site and i hope that someone can help me with this rather strange error :victory:
as the subject of topic says , i get this error whenever i boot my friends sgs into recovery as normal booting goes on loop forever.
this is the error i get in the recovery of stock I9000XXJVU:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--Copying media files...
E:failed to mount /sdcard (file exists)
E:copy_dbdata_media:can't mount /sdcard
your storage not prepared yet, please use UI menu for format and reboot actions

Successfully applied multi-CSC
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
what happened is this:
my friend had a sgs and i wanted to flash it with cyanogenmod 10 (android 4.1)
the stock firmware was 2.2 iirc.
i just rooted the stock and flashed the 4.1
it went ok but i saw the mounting error back then sometime that i rebooted the device with 4.1 on it but didn't get that error all the time and it would boot just fine.
then the error popuped more and more.
so i decided to flash stock 2.3.6 ,rooting it and finaly go back to 4.1.
after i flashed the device using I9000XXJVU it goes on loop.
recovery and downloading mode works.but the recovery give me that error i said above.
i guess a hardware issue but i don't know for sure
i'm lost here :silly:
help me plz
Thanks in advance

yep same error as before.
after flashing is done and it want to install the package,it get stock and give me that mounting error.
i just want to know if this problem is software or hardware
I also had this problem. Was on stock JVT with semaphore, partitions converted to ext4.
I decided to reboot my phone for no particular reason (was working reat) and when i powered it on kept boot looping without really getting past the samsung gt-i9000 white letters / black background screen.
CWM recovery said it was unable to mount any partition. External SD mounted fine, just nothing from the internel sd. No system, data, whatever. Got me thinking i may had my internal sd malfunctioning.
I just flashed it with odin and my stock branded operator rom (2.3.3) and done nothing more. No repartition. Working great. Was probably some ext4 error.
Before that i had been using cyanogen stable. Started giving FC like mad, so i flashed that stock JVT. On hindsight it may only had been the data partition that had run out of free space but i had no way of knowing when it happened and needed my phone running.
Reflashing got mine running again. Maybe try with Heimdall if odin's not working for you? Be sure to get a complete rom, with bootloaders and such. I'd suggest your operator's stock one. That way you can also send it back to samsung if it still doesn't work.

See problem 11 exact same problem described
thanks for the help guys
i tried everything that came to my mine and used this topic for my errors but still get errors
problem 11 and 12 are the ones i get flashing different roms
even tried a Rescue kit from here but no go...
why this is happening to me?
the failed to mount as i have come to understand is internal SD card failure you will have to give external SD card a try

[Q] Pls Help - (Soft?) Bricked

Hello there,
Where to start. Ok, I'm not a techy person (so pls dont reply with abreaviations) but I'm half capable, so I decided to upgrade my galaxy s to the x-bean rom.
I flashed my phone using odin to the standard XXJW4 upgrade, rooted it, and transfered the x-bean 3.0 zip and the fix file to the sdcard. Wiped date/factory reset as needed, then when I went to install zip from sdcard the following error message occurs:
E:Error in /sdcard/x-bean 3.0.zip
(status 0)
installation aborted
I'm now using semaphore cwm recovery v6.0.1.3 which i got from a fix I tried.
I've hunted through youtube vids, the recovery section, and the threads for hours!! I've downloaded and tried flashing every file his man and his dog have posted up as fix but nothing is working, all I get is boot loop and this error.
Every time I try upload anything from odin the download stops shortly after it starts and disconnects from the phone. As i can still access recovery and download option tho, does anyone else have a suggedtion which its having a problem accessing the sdcard?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as phone is useless right now
managed to find a file that resolved it all, just incase anyone else has same problem in future

[Q] GT N7000 loop on boot_E: failed to mount /efs (Invalid argument), PLEASE HELP!

Hi
My GT N7000 doesn't start anymore, keep on infinite looping. ODIN flashs well (no errors) but ROM doesn't start from logo.
I flashed with a (2.3.6) Custom Recovery on Odin and after I typed *2767*3855# for full wipe. It starts normally but when I flash with a (4.1.2) it kept on looping. I made full wipes and install or restore ROMs, but they don't start from the logo.
On the Recovery Mode after wiping data I have this message on red:
E: Failed to mount /efs (Invalid argument)
Maybe I must flash a .pit file? But where is it? And how I do this?
Thank You

[Q] No ROMs booting, did I miss something?

I followed the instructions in the General Discussion forum and was able to install CWM 6.0.3.6 and install CM 10.1.3 official, yet it always just hangs on the boot logo and stays there forever. Did I miss something? I've tried other ROMs and they do the same thing. I tried clearing the cache in the recovery but it doesn't work. Any advice?
Ok I found out that it's not reading or doing something correctly in CWM. When i go to wipe data/factory reset it says Error mounting /data! skipping format, it also says that about /sdcard as well
EDIT - Wow now I can't even restore because it says MD5 mismatch... what the hell? What a piece of ****.
