Which ROM do you use?

Hi guys,
wonderful forum.
I´m searching a stable Rom without advertisments or provider things.
I´m comming from the htc - site, but my girlfriend decided to buy a X1.
At htc we got our dutty with stable rom. Whats about the X1, is there a rom dev that create wonderful and stable roms?

itjes ROMs are very popular here...anyway I prefer my one one (look at my sig), of course. Just look at the X1 library,one of the sticks threads, to get an verview...

the X1 is a Htc with a Sony Ericsson cover
i am using the "Touch-IT 5.04" rom very stable with very little problems
if you wait a couple of days itje will have cooked a final version 5 rom

I use a rom that i have make from the original X1 LAM ROM R2AA but a have delete all stuff that not useful like windows update, and samples music and videos and hand and go....And other craps....
It runs faster and i have more memory storage like 297Mb....
I want to add full manilla support (landscape too) to it
But I do not know how to do it yet?????????
Maybe somebody can point me in the right direcction, i will aprreciate that....
Because if so i can release my first rom in SPA Based in R2AA LAM original...

Stock wm6.1 ROM

Hi all,
I'm very very a newbie in HTC product. Last week a flash wm6.5 rom but my touch diamond running slow. So i decide to flash back to wm 6.1 rom.
Anybody out there can help me :-
a. to find a right wm6.1 stock rom
b. to find the right radio rom
c. to find the right hardSpl
for my HTC Touch Diamond GSM Asia

Question About X1 ROM,Flashing etc

Hello guys 1st sorry i know the answers of the questions i will ask are writen in this X1 Forum but the reason to ask you here is because im not X1 User im a Blackstone user and i know how to play with my device.
One friend of mine have X1 he use it around a year and he is still with the Stock Default WM 6.1 witch is very Slow and Bugy also the phone often crash.
I want to ask you can you tell me from your expirience One Good fast and stable ROM for X1? one 6.5 and one 6.1 ?
You will know better because you use this ROM`s if anyone ask me the same question for Blackstone i know the answer.
And also i read about the Flashing Methoud via SD card is 99% the same like for HTC Touch HD just the diference is in the file Name
Can you please tell me with few words witch HARD SPL i need to use to unlock the phone from Stock to WM 6.5
And Do i need to know anything more.. or the procces of flashing is like in the HTC devices.
Im asking you because my friend wana flash him X1 with some better Windows. and i don`t want to crash him phone.
Also for example in our HTC devices i know how to flash Radio Version is the same with X1?
Can anyone tell me one good combination for example this ROM... with this Radio and this Rilphone is good combination i don`t ask for the latest Build i prefer something Fast and Stable.. so he is with the Stock ROM anyway and i know that here will have alot more fast and stable ROM`s for his device

well, most of what you ask is in the sticky section of this thread, but ok, here goes...
hard spl
micro sd method
custom ruu method
I guess that's similar to most HTC devices, though I'm lacking experience there
I prefer valkyrie leo rom (wm 6.5.3, manila 2.5), new UI style (Builds 280**), maybe a little more stable are the old UI style ones (Builds 218**)
about NRGZ roms I don't have to tell you, seeing your signature...
can't give advice on wm6.1 roms though, sorry, as I only use the wm6.5 ones
Radio: I think it best to try different ones, as for me higher versions seem to drain more battery without really improving signal quality, you see in my signature what I finally settled for
but again: that's an individual (geographical) question that in the end only you can answer

Yes thank you for the Info like i say i know that everything is writen in the forum but better to ask befor to mess something.
So i will flash the X1 but i never have expirience with ROMs for X1 for that reason i prefer something close up to the default stock ROM but to be Fast and Stable i don`t mind if the ROM is WM6.1 also the guy with the X1 is not so...... technical and maybe will be easy for him to not have so big change in the phone the reason to wana flash his phone is because is really very very slow and crash often frize and etc..
So you told me already with ROM u use but its a new Build with the 2.5 Manila and always the old Windows build etc will be light of memory usage and faster stable.. im just looking for one Fast Stable ROM no matter from the Build etc

read that Touch X 10.1 (smaberg) and 10.8.* (MrRusch) have good voting
also Phoenix rom (Oobly) is reported to be very fast, all Wm6.1, check them as a start, until further feedback arrives

[Q] WM 6.5.x + Sense 2.x ROM WWE stable ?

hi,
i was confuse to pick the ROM, because after i failed upgrade my touch diamond 2 and its become a dead brick phone.
so i get the touch diamond. and i really wanna upgrade to WM 6.5.x with sense 2.x
can someone give me advice which ROM is stable? because I fear the my TD2 incident will be repeated

I don't personally advice you Sense 2.5 because it is too slow for the diamond, try to look out for a sense 2.1 ROM. I'm currently using the Back To Basics ROM, it is IMO the most stable and fast ROM with Sense 2.1 & winmo 6.5 on the diamond. here is the link :

Sir i need to upgrade windows 6.1 to windows 6.5 on my htc touch diamond
i am soo confused as this is my first time using any windws phone

my rom version is 2.03.405.3 wwe
radio version is 1.09.25.23
please help me how can i get windows 6.5 and how can i install it

There are plenty of 6.5 ROMs available on the site. Be warned that most will slow your phone down and reduce stability compared to the (admittedly buggy) ROM that the Diamond comes with. It's fun to try them out though, if you have the time and patience! Many people have worked very hard to create ROMs with various features from 6.5, so just take your time and read through them.
You also should hunt out the guide on how to use Hard SPL, as you will need it for the Diamond to allow you to use the ROM of your choice.
