Anyone know a way to use an mp3 as your voicemail message? I tried recording it from my speakers and it sounds pretty bad.

Hi,
when i get a sms the ring don't stop until the music ends.
Can I stop the music firs?
Thanks.
You mean your notification sound that you recieved an SMS message?
I believe you can just disable the sound file in the sound options.
If you want to interrupt the audio sound and make it be quiet I would have thought just pushing end would quiet it down like a voice call.
Unfortunately this is a "feature" of all Windows Mobile devices and sms sound cannot be turned off during playing, it always play the whole length.
In that case pick a shorter sound
Hey all,
When I listen to music on WMP (as I find it better than the default TF3D music player) on the HTC headphones, is there a way to stop the music and show the caller when I get an incoming call?
I only found out I missed a call after I finished and saw the prompt on the Today screen
And i'm using TouchLockPro, if that helps with anything.
Thanks for any help
(Sorry if this already has been posted somewhere else)
When I listen to music, an audio book or some other media, that media is muted while a notification sound (e-mail, etc) sounds. This is - of course - very annoying since the movie, audio book is interrupted (but not stopped).
On my HTC Desire the music kept playing also when a notification sound was playing.
Is there some way to make the notification sounds play at the same time as other audio streams?
Hi there,
I use PowerAMP, and this issue didn't appeared to me yet.
When I receive a message or something, I just hear the ringtone softly through my music.

Click to collapse
Seems like the sound issue is based on how each app uses the notification sounds.
Some apps does use the same "audio-channel" as my music player, and that interrupts/pauses the music. Other apps uses some other audio-channel and notifications though those apps executes their softly through my music.
It doesn't mather what ROM etc you are using.
I just have to live with this.
Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to record voice while listening to music at the same time?
To hear how terrible I sing
I have headphones with mic. and I use GingerDX v022 + alfs v07.
I play music in player and start sound recorder, but when I press record music stops.
I guess it should be possible since while in call my side (mic) can be recorded, even without any special kernel driver, and you have sound in headphones at the same time
anybody knows how to do it?
Thanks
ok, I found a solution.
I downloaded 2 free voice recording apps (Voice recorder, Tape-a-talk) from market, and with them it works.
It seems it only doesn't work with built in GingerDX Sound Recorder.
Someone has some solution to whatsapp ringtones, using my mp3
