[APP] FM on your Epic! - Epic 4G Themes

Found an app that lets you listen to FM stations
http://www.appbrain.com/app/tunein.player
Tried it and it works.

It's not actually FM though, it streams over the internet... it is a nice app though, has all my local stations.

i use flycast. you can find it in the market. has every station ive ever tried to look for. also streams over the internet. great for local and national stations.

Tease!
I want real FM (we supposedly have the hardware) for emergencies and for when I'm not in a data area.

Shoutcast streaming player

is there a player out there that can download the shoutcast stations that are operating, and then be able to select and play??
much like PSPradio?
i am getting sick of making playlists for the stations that i want to hear on my computer and sending them to TCMP
Thinking about it, someone could prolly make a simple html that could fish for running streams, and link it directly into TCMP

Ditto. I currently download the *.pls on my desktop and email them to my mobile.
I looked months ago and couldn't find any. I was in the same situation and grew tired of TCMP's interface. I finally purchased Resco Radio since it comes with a list of pre-set stations that I can add to or customize. Plus the UI makes it easy to jump between streams while driving. Still I wish something had native Shoutcast support built in.
i use opera mobile to browse and download the playlists and open them in core player. My Kaiser is paired with my car radio via bluetooth stereo audio. works fine for me.
i use opera browser and core player it works flawlessly. do need to enable coreplayer to play .pls files
just my 2 cents

yeah there is
if you use pocket player (my favorite music player) u can just open it and browse media and serach under web media for anything and it will show a list of any station da is available under shoutcast and u just click play and it will stream it...its amazing!!!!
Use Conduit Pocket Player 3.6, it is a great peice of software allowing you to make play lists, change skins and search thru ur music like iContact (smooth motion thru the list)
Also one other great tool is the "Music Guide", this has all the different Shoutcast genres with loads of radio stations. I was listening to music which i thought I would never hear
It really is great, get the trial to test

I have been using a piece of software called SelectPlayer. This software offers a diverse selection of streaming radio, including shoutcast. The interface is a little dated, but functionality is certainly there.
Check out http://www.selectradio.com/
I use the Kinoma Free Player. Has a bunch of Shoutcast stations built in.

Yep, both Kinoma Play and Kinoma FreePlay have an always-up-to-date list of all Shoutcast stations built right in.
That's in addition to all Live365 stations, complete Audible audiobook support, 500 on-demand albums from Magnatune, thousands of podcasts, and quite a bit more.

Shoutcast
Why not create your own Shoutcast Server and create your own playlist that can be played remotely....then you could post your ip/station name on this forum and eventually create a list of servers/stations?

Is there an app like Fstream for iPod/iPhone for Android?

This app has previously provided internet channels, however the cool thing is that it allows you to input your own URLs to mp3 streams such as if you have the url from a buffer from a site say di.fm(digitally imported)for their electronic stations and stuff like that which are streamed. So i'm basically looking for an app that allows me to do that.
Thanks.
A Online Radio works for me on N1 and Milestone, and also on my roommate's LG Eve. So I'd think it works on G1 too. Stream URLs launched in the browser go straight to AOR, from which I can press the heart button and save it to my favourites.

Xiia Live

For those of you who like streaming audio, and tried Winamp to no avail, there is an app I've been using since D1 called Xiia Live that works perfectly. Please add this app to the working apps section if you don't mind.
I can't seem to figure out how to get Winamp to find the streams? Does anyone know?
Slacker radio works too!
Wunder Radio works also

Google Play Music capabilities through Android Auto

Anyone that has this, can you explain what is and is not possible with google play music? Can you play and switch between specific radio stations that are in my library? Can you also select and switch between existing playlists that in my library? Can you thumbs up and thumbs down songs?
If you have a rooted device, you can try my Headunit app in standalone mode and see for yourself.
Or two devices USB OTG connected...

I've got it running in my '15 Sonata. Yes, you can do all of the things you asked about. I was never much of a fan of Google Play Music, until now.
Picked up my Sonata today. Everything seems to work well except some of the Google Play Music radio station functionality is a mess. When I select Google Play Music radio stations on the Sonata there is a list of radio stations. Some of them are my stations from my phone and they play fine. Others are stations that I don't have on my phone and when I try to play them it says Google Play Music is not working correctly or something similar. Other than that it seems to work great.

Yeah it's kind of basic for now. Android Auto is pretty much a beta product. I'm looking forward to future updates and improved functionality. Still love using it, though!

Streaming music

Hi guys
I have GW3 LTE.
Is there any possibility to stream music (any service) directly from the watch without a phone connection ?
I dont mean play downloaded music but direct streaming.
I need it for jogging without my phone and i dont want to download it previously .
Thanks
Have you tried Spotify?
I also have used Spotify and it worked very good for my usage...
Use the web browser to go to your favorite station and stream it that way. I've done it with Soma FM stations but doing so depletes the battery relatively quickly.
Spotify doesn't work without the phone....

Supposedly you can with premium. But, I use iGear Radio pro. You can manage the stations online and play radio stations thru the data connection on your watch without a Bluetooth connection to your phone
You can use Galaxy Audio Player. It have function to play streams https://galaxystore.samsung.com/geardetail/FTUDba5gYD
You can do with Spotify but with the premium version. Unfortunately, you cannot do that with the free one. I knew a few programs and I have one I am currently working on. I am a sound designer and software developer and I am currently working on a new project where I try to implement cool sounds made using some free VST plugins. My main concept is making a good playlists (user editable) which will be streamed 24/7 online so the users don't need to download them but just listen directly from their portable devices.
